I was traveling up North to Massachusetts on a business trip, and to meet some family members in the state. My company put me in the Holiday Inn hotel in Tewksbury, MA. I asked the hotel staff if there was a supermarket in the area. Because it was 9:30 pm, they told me that the local supermarket was closed. They then recommended a convenience store called White Dove Pantry which was up the road. I decided to go take a look and see what they had. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was more than just a convenience store. I bought a sub which they made fresh for me. They also have beer and wine, and other candies and chips you would expect from a convenience store. The part that stands out the most, in my opinion, if the friendliness of the owners and staff. They are much nicer and friendlier than those chain stores. When I mentioned that I was from out of town, they told me about some of the local attractions in the area and they also gave me a free muffin (which was DELICIOUS, by the way). They seem very nice and genuinely care about the people that visit there store. I was glad that the staff at the Holiday Inn recommended that I try them out. Hotel staff members usually know the best places in the area, and my experience confirmed it. I will go back at least one more time before my business trip is over! read more

Ok, so I go there every day, and sometimes I even go twice a day. 1. One great thing is that they are almost like a mini supermarket. They are a convenience store, but they have a huge selection of grocery, baking and cooking items. Most convenience stores in Tewksbury do not have this large of a variety. 2. Another positive is that they sell beer and wine cheaper than some other stores in the area. I have found some great craft beer there. The selection of beer and wine is very large. All of is at a great price. 3. They have great deals. They have deals on energy drink, gallons of milk, water, soda and candy. You can get some great deals if go often. 4. They make great subs and sandwiches. The have a deal where you get a free can of soda when you buy a large sub. Their large subs are less than $7 before tax and you get the free can. You can't beat it! Their small subs are less than $6 before tax. 5. They are open late, which is great is you are craving a snack late at night. They open at 6am and close at 11 pm everyday except Sunday. I believe that they close at 8pm on Sunday. 6. I like shopping here because I like to support family owned businesses. I love that they have a large selection of beer and wine AND a large grocery section. This means I usually can avoid going to 2 stores because they have everything that I need. The customer service is great, and they have so great deals that are on the signs on the window. They also make fresh subs so that is very convenient when you need to get a quick meal after work. read more

Excellent store for beer and wine and snacks. I come here once or twice a week to buy candy and snacks, as well as beer and wine if I need it. The service is great and the prices are reasonable for the area. The selection of candy and snacks is better than most places in the area. White Dove Pantry has beer and wine at a great price. I really like the subs that they make fresh to order. They also give you a free can of soda when you buy a large sub. I work down the street and I get lunch from here a couple of times a week. The subs here are awesome.
