I previously had a chemical perm from another stylist, but wanted to have my natural straight hair since I had my wedding coming up. I booked an appointment with Jennifer in June and requested for my favorite two block haircut with some layers. You start off the service with getting your hair washed and then head over to the chair where Jennifer does her assessment of the next steps. Jennifer was really sweet and personable during the haircut and she also gave honest feedback on what worked for my face. The end result exceeded my expectations since the layers were done so well. Also a big bonus of this salon is the value for the services. A lot of salons and barbershops nowadays charge exorbitant prices that it's difficult to find somewhere affordable and high quality. Hyun hair had great prices that were very fair compared to other places. I loved my experience so much that I had Jennifer also do some layers for my wife. She asked if there's anyone i was impressed with from the reviews that I would like to book I said know just as long this stylist is comfortable with this particular haircut I called her back to set the appointment for today 07/08 @11am she stated Desire will be our stylist As soon as we get there Desire is available and welcome my son and led him back to her chair and I can hear her ask him "ok so what are we doing today" wth?????? RED FLAG #2 I intervened and informed her of my conversation with "Kathy" and showed her the pics and immediately confirm what had told my son that his hair on the lower back of his head was not long enough and so the haircut wont look exactly like the picture but that she would do the "wolf's cut" no problem i asked very clearly if she felt the hat she couldn't do it to just let me know " no harm no foul" we would just leave and she said it wouldn't be a problem I left with my other two kids to get something to eat across the street and 45mins later my son called me to say that he was done I thought that was way to fast considering the helmet of hair he's had might have need it a lot more attention that 45mins So I finally walk over to him and when I seen him I immediately said to I don't see anything different from when he walked in! Same hairstyle same length the only difference was that it did look cleaner I asked her is this it can you at least style it or put product?? She responded that she had removed a lot of volume but his hair need to grow more to achieve that look Wth!!!! So what did I actually pay $60 for ? For her to clean it? What was the purpose of doing all this research and confirming with them before the cut that this was something they can actually do!? I'm in sales and avoid bringing people in just to make the sale if you're not going to give them what they want! Have morals and set real expectations. The only difference from when my son walked in and when we left was less volume and she comb it. I'm still asking my self where is the "wolf's cut" that I paid for!!???? Never got it!
