I came in here hoping to exchange a couple pairs of pants I had purchased on the lulu website. I always wear the same size, but these were made considerably smaller for some unknown reason (possibly defective). Didn't even remotely fit me. However the employees refused to service me at all because the pants I had purchased were on sale. I can understand preventing a return, but not even allowing an exchange? Doesn't make sense, other than the "power high" some ppl get by treating customers poorly. I actually like the employees here, they have ALWAYS helped me out with whatever issue I have had, I don't know what has changed but I really hope this was a one-off incident. (If this is really their official policy, then I would advise not buying any sale items unless you purchase them in-store, and try them on.) read more

This store is the worst. Everyone in it has a snobby attitude every time I visit and acts like customers are inconveniencing them when asking questions - like we are a bother. I avoid going in at all costs but when I do it's truly the worst. Tonight, I asked for a larger bag and the lovely little brat behind the register refused because apparently the two pairs of shorts I was purchasing didn't justify a larger bag. Terrible terrible customer service. I literally just walked in to pick up my hemmed biker shorts that they NEVER sent me a confirmation for and had been ready for weeks! I already called 15 minutes prior to pickup and the lady informed to just walk in and pick it up on the table next to the front door. As I'm walking in to grab my bag, a brunette walks up to me and told me, to put it down and treated me so disrespectfully. WTF. IM SHOOK. These ladies are actual mean girls, she treated me like I was about to steal something from the store then she told me she needed to see my i.d. Guys. Stay away from this location. Saturday around 5pm. I walked in wanting to find out my size and use up this gift card burning a hole in my pocket! I'm not sure the lady they had in the back by the fitting rooms, but she was amazingggg. I just walked back and started grabbing some sizes and she asked me if I knew my size but I said no I was just going to figure it out. She told me it would be ideal for her to help me and asked what I would be using these for. I said Orange Theory and she pointed to the two she would recommend (NOT align like I've heard of in the past). She said if I did Orange with the aligns I would be really frustrated that they weren't "holding up" with the specific type of exercise I'd be doing (HIIT - high intensity interval training). We talked about high-rise and pockets. I determined both of those were important to me. She took one look at the 8's I had in my hand and was like "no, you won't need those". I'm 5'5" ish probably about 150 LBS. and love food and drinks (ie it's a food baby in that belly, and I'm not muscular) - I tried the 4's and 6's and the 4's were snug and I liked the 23" length vs 25" ... She mentioned unfortunately there aren't a lot of 23"s and said probably not a lot of "sale" items in that side 4 which is really popular- I appreciated the input. She offered to see the two sizes on me and give input which was also valuable to me. I was grateful. We also talked about in Orange not to get pants that have the zipper in the back bc I would be annoyed with it jabbing me while I did exercises on my back. Things I wouldn't even think about, also very helpful for me to know. We also checked out some online products and some sports bras. Overall felt really good about my purchases and grateful for the help! I really wish I would have gotten her name. Kind of a jerk. Meaning the guy at the front door. Not "I'm so sorry our store is full and there is a wait to get in. ". Instead, the 20-something hipster said "We're full; you have to wait." Think: bouncer in a bar. I get it. Lululemon is currently a smoking hot brand. Then again, retail history is littered with former smoking hot brands that are now sold through TJ Maxx. At the core, the only thing the differentiates brands is paying attention to the customer. I stopped by here, specifically wanting a Fanny pack (belt bag) and was politely greeted by Millie. She immediately directed me to the small collection, I'm guessing it has been a high request! I recently had a breast reduction and no longer want to carry such large bags. Melli helped me try it on and then Grace checked me out. She even gave me a couple of the cool lululemon bags (my coworkers use these for lunch bags). I read all of the other not so nice reviews and wanted to share my wonderful experience! Also the parking is convenient. I live near the Gulch location and it's terrible parking downtown, i try to avoid it at all cost! Always well-stocked, and the location is very clean. However... This location is always packed. I don't think they're following capacity guidelines?? Many of the workers are rude. Standing in front of merchandise gossiping about other coworkers, behind the cash register gossiping about other coworkers / complaining about shifts. I have chosen this store more often than the one in green hills Nashville due to distance. I encountered a very rude employee today at this location when I was checking out. I was returning items and buying additional ones. She was impatient and her words were curt and I will not be back to this store again. I will drive the distance to Green Hills from now on. I have always chosen this store over Green Hills for numerous reasons like the parking, easier to maneuver, employees are nicer and don't act like they are better than you, and genuinely just that they smile and care. Last week, I returned a pair of pants that were a few years old but I paid $147 (tight stuff tights) for them and they started ripping at the seams on the ankle. Even though they were well loved, they shouldn't have ripped. I have had a few of the pants from Lulu do this over time (2 out of the 30 i have probably owned) and my husband has had the zipper pull break off most of his running shorts. These clothes are too expensive for defects. Lululemon has ALWAYS returned these garments and told us to chose the same shorts/pants or kindly offered to fix the alteration free of charge and apologized for the inconvenience. The young lady working the register on Monday acted completely put out that I returned these pants and then proceeded to tell me that bc I did pure barre and not running (bc that is what the pants are intended for, not barre) and that is precisely why they ripped. She was very matter-of-fact about it and quite rude. I'm sorry, What? No one told me that when I bought them of course because that would have prevented a sale and it is just not true. Period. And I don't think Lululemon wants to pigeon hole themselves into a specific workout for every pant. Nowhere on the website have I ever read any guidelines or policies backing what she told me. In a retail world that is dying and product margins becoming smaller everyday, you would think stores like Lululemon would do a better job making the customer feel like the rockstar! And possibly show some gratitude! Disappointing. read more

Honestly I'm a past Lululemon educator who just moved to this area and I'm really underwhelmed with the service here. I've been in 3+ times and no one talks to me or exhibits the qualities I was trained in when working for the company. I'm also pregnant, and I feel as though they ignore me because of it. Who knew they carried mens running and other types of Athletic gear? I sure didn't... Went in today and checked the place out. They have a ton of mens gear right up front. The employees all seemed happy and helpful without being pushy - let's face it, the place is not cheap....but they didn't seem as if they were trying to "sell" like you get from other retail stores. Okay, I am wowed!! Lindsay and this location saved me. I wore some of my older lulus to work today, and the seam in the pans down the leg area literally just split apart.. it was a disaster. It was like the glue just wasn't holding them together. I went in kinda freaking out and Lindsay was like come straight back here we will just switch them out. I have countless pairs of lulu pants, and have never had this happen before. Especially when spending $100+ on leggings. Imagine my surprise when I found this store, by accident that is and in retail-challenged Nash-town. I was picking up a to-go order one night as I was waiting I saw the LuLulemon logo across the shopping complex, I walked over to the store and I was one of 2 customers that night. Very friendly and informative staff, I ended up buying a very soft jacket and even as I paid one of the ladies told me how to care for my new purchase, had to tell her I've shopped @ Lulu before, although this store seemed to be fully stocked. Damaged my mat out at the Nashville store, the Nashville store didn't have the extra big mat so I settled for the smaller mat, didn't realize the difference until I used it. The extra long/big mat spoiled me, so franklin exchanged it out! Very sweet people! Very professional! read more
