That company told us our pipes were rotted and they needed to excavate my kitchen, foyer, family room and dining room floors in order to replace the pipes . Cost $26,000 . Not to mention the fact that we would need to fully replace entire rooms of floors. Cruikshank came out and ran the camera from clean out into house and out to street. Also ran from master bathroom to clean out. There is nothing wrong with our pipes. The plumber showed us the video, was nothing like the one that Atlas Butler showed us. I would recommend Cruikshank anytime!

Ultimately I decided on a full replacement system (new pump, back up pump with controller and WiFi monitoring) as the old system was 6+ years old. Very very pleased and now feel my sump situation is well under control and monitored. Going to have these guys back for additional plumbing upgrades in my home. Polite, prompt, courteous and with a definite customer service is important attitude. Hard to find these days - Nick is a diamond in the rough! They do a great job and I call them for all of my plumbing jobs. The only problem I think they have is that they are pretty busy, so sometimes it takes a while to get out to us so if you have an immediate problem, I would call but not sure how quickly they can respond due to the amount of business they are experiencing.

The first step was turning on the water. Ours is located in a utility closet off the laundry room as we have no basement. The technician could not locate the turn on and kept saying she found most turn on valves in the basement. We have no basement. The technician was promptly out of the house and did not acknowledge me calling after her to ask if there was anything I needed to do. I called the office and received no sympathy or apology for the problem. They need a course in customer service. The earliest they had was 18 days away. Both the owner and individual I spoke with first had no interest in trying to work me in sooner. The owner came across to me as irritated by my call. On top of all this they sent me a bill almost immediately after the technician left. They have also sent me a reminder, but say they have canceled the bill. They were great as AK Irrigation.

My experience with emergency plumbing service was amazing from the very first person I talk to you when I called to make my appointment. Before they showed up they sent me a text message with a picture of my technician, Ron. It included a little biography of him and being the woman at home by myself with my toddler that made me feel at ease. After they did the diagnosis and gave me the estimate they had to explain to me that they did not have the pieces that they needed in order to fix my situation but they left to go find them and then came back and proceeded to fix my problem. They were at my house from most six hours and they did not leave until almost 8 PM and their demeanor was kind and positive throughout the entire experience. They had to work with my home warranty company which was being difficult and they did not seem to mind. Ron and his assistant were absolutely amazing. I will definitely use this company if something else happens. And I will be sure to request Ron!

They installed a shielded rubber coupler with the pipes at an angle and a unshielded coupler outside. I called to ask about it, and instead of putting me in touch with an owner or supervisor the receptionist transferred me to the technician who did the repair. He said they do that because it's easier, it's fine and they will stand behind it for 30 days. Not what i expect for over $400. I won't use them again, and I wish I could add pictures of the " repair".
