This was THE MOST FUN EVER!!! Oh my gosh I'm so happy we did this, my husband and I had the BEST time!!! They are so organized, well ran, have literally anything you need (helmets, boots, snow suits, etc) and the location is the most beautiful place I've ever been. I highly recommend the adventure tour! Loveeeee how they had a photographer to take pictures and the guides are awesome. So basically here's how it works... you show up 30 min early to get ready, do a quick lesson, practice on flat land for about 10 min getting comfortable going fast, then the large group of around 30 breaks into small groups. They take you to the most amazing places on the mountain and it's SO fun. Towards the end you stop at a small little building for some hot chocolate then head back down. Through our resort we got a discount, but do expect to tip your guide at the end for service. This was the best and so worth the drive from our Breckenridge resort!!

What an awesome and amazing experience my daughter and me had with this company. Highly recommend them. Mario and Ryan were very knowledgeable and attentive to all us riding today. We took the 2 hr Performance Tour which concentrates on areas which are a bit more difficult to ride if your doing a tandem, meaning all vehicles are for single riders. The views from the top of Arkansas Mountain were spectacular, the paths through the Ponderosa pines were dreamy and surreal. And the young lady that did the photography was great, capturing us while we rode by. Thank you to all the crew, you made my daughter's birthday something she will never forget.

This is unfortunate because this place use to be my go to tour when my family and friends come to town every year. We have had many tours at this site and this unapologetic customer service this time has completely turned me off on ever wanting to return. While I know our circumstances is not their responsibility we did have some horrible luck today. We were scheduled for a noon tour and the rental car unfortunately had a flat tire. So we were able to rebook to the 3PM tour. I was able to convince a friend of mine to give us a ride to that tour and believe it or not, on our way up for the second scheduled tour, you guessed it...we had another flat tire. Two cars, one day, two flats! We then called to ask to see if we could rebook for tomorrow. Between Beverly and Judy they made sure we understood that this was not their problem and they would not rebook us. WE DID NOT ASK FOR A REFUND! Just wanted the opportunity to rebook. Our friends from out of town were even going to change their flights back home just so we could go to the tour. After my wife's cousin had a very lengthy conversation with Judy the manager. She informed us that there was no availability so she would not rebook us. At which point we went to check availability on their online system. That shows 15 slots available. Three of us are VETERANS and that shouldn't really matter because good customer service typically would do anything to ensure that their customers have a good experience. This was not their concern and like us said, what has seemed to become an annual place for us to go will no longer receive our business. Yes they "potentially" lost some money based off our misfortune not to be able to make our scheduled times but they have now lost our future business which usually consists of 5 or more people. Hope this helps anyone out there on who you may or may not want to do business with.

Took a day off skiing and wanted to share a little outdoor adventure with our boys. From the moment we arrived Aidan and Leland (our guides) were kind, welcoming, fun, funny and filled with awesome knowledge of the mountains, nature, the zip line facility and all kinds of other interesting facts (good jokes and snowball tricks too)! The views were unreal- so gorgeous and the walking paths between zip lines were a peaceful, serene and beautiful surprise. It was safe, gorgeous, unique, exciting and FUN from start to finish. Aidan and Leyland really made the experience even more special and FUN! -- Mara, Tony, Rowan, Aidan, and Christian Five stars is not enough to show how much we loved this adventure! Leyland and Aidan were amazing guides, they were fun, smart with the zip lines, and funny. I recommend this place to anyone looking for fun, thrill, and a just amazing experience! -- Aidan (with an A)

We are so glad we decided to do this!!! It was by far our favorite thing that we did on our Colorado Vacation, and we did a lot of really neat stuff. This blew everything else out of the water! We were super impressed by the staff and in awe of our beautiful surroundings. We cant remember the name of our guide but I did find a pic of him in other reviews that I will share. He was really good to us! Thanks for an extremely awesome experience!!!

Such a fun experience! Sean was our tour guide and did an amazing job showing us around. Everyone was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable before starting on the trail. Would definitely do it again!

Fantastic day. From the brief lesson to the top-notch guide to the amazing views- we had a wonderful time!!! You start in a big group but then get into small groups with a guide- ours was Kyle. We got to go as fast as we were comfortable with our small group. It was cold- but we were dressed for the weather and stayed warm. Kyle was great- really tailored the trip to us and was awesome! You start in the middle of nowhere, but this group is organized and top-notch! A true highlight for us! And they have some amazing pics to buy at the end for a reasonable price!

My boyfriend and I had a great time! Mario was our tour guide and he was extremely helpful and awesome the whole time. They stressed safety but we also got to go pretty fast at times, and the views were absolutely phenomenal.

First time snowmobiling! Went with my mom on their family tour, which is the less advanced/beginner tour. We came prepared with the right clothes. But in case we needed anything, they had goggles, ski bibs, boots, and helmets (we did need helmets). Checking in was pretty quick and painless. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were also dogs roaming around to pet while we waited to get on the van before driving out to the starting point. Riding out, our tour guide on the bus did a good job keeping us entertained with local history and some witty banter. It was a pretty short drive to the starting point, which was nice. Once we got to the starting point, we had a decent orientation on how to use and ride a snowmobile. Didn't take long, but long enough to be thorough. Then we set out on the tour! Along the way, there were multiple tour guides looking out for the group and helping anyone that needed some extra advice on driving. They even had some small snowmobiles in safe open area where kids could get a little riding in, which I thought was great. There was a large track the adults got to drive around to practice turning and go faster, which was fun. But best of all, we got to explore some pretty amazing snow mountainside areas of Colorado. We were basically driving around what are normally roads in a camp ground, trails where you wouldn't be able to drive, and stopped by a lake that was frozen over and full of snow. It was a pretty great tour. Also, our tour guide (see first photo) was fun, helpful, and accommodating (my mom asked to stop at a specific place on the way back). Oh, also. I recommend getting the photo package when you're done. They took so really great shots! And it was pretty affordable, too. At least check it out. It was also pretty great that they sent me the photos to my iPhone on the spot with AirDrop! I definitely recommend White Mountain if you're considering doing a snowmobile tour. They also have ziplining, too!

We had an amazing experience with The Snow Mobiles. We were a group of 6 guys and our guide was Boston. He was amazing. Super relational and friendly. The young lady who took the pit was friendly as well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lady who answered the phone was extremely unprofessional, rude, and insensitive. It was an older lady and she almost made us reconsider.

We just finished our tour with Brad- my first experience with a snowmobile and I had a blast while feeling safe and comfortable the whole time. I know I only rode on my tour in my group-but I can without a doubt say we had the best tour of the day!!!! Thanks Brad!!!!!

One of the best snowmobile rides we have taken in Colorado! The day of our tour the weather was below zero, nearly a white out with the wind and snow but we had so much fun! Our guides were fun and kept the kids happy despite the weather. They had mini snowmobiles for the kids to drive. That was so fun to see them speed around the track! Another great option was buying pictures that the photographer took along our ride. They turned out amazing and it was so nice that we didn't have to try and snap pictures on our own. We will definitely take another tour with White Mountain when we come back to Colorado!

Leadville vied against Denver for the capital of Colorado. But the historical events, strategies, travel and the shuffling for rights of control and ownership started right here at Matchless Mine. We did a guided tour and our tour guide was a bit different in his approach to the stories behind the mine and Leadville. Very intriguing the similarity of the women back than and the women of today. They were very prominent in the development of this vast area. Very interesting and grabbing how the lives of these people all entwined to deliver a booming town and it's people. I'd love to spend a little more time but the day was over.

It is about 1 1/2 miles outside downtown Leadville and I think it's over-rated. There are 2 admission prices -- $6 per person ($5 for kids) for the self-guided tour or $10 per person for a guided tour. We were too late for the last guided tour of the day and opted for the $6 self-guided tour. There are 3 or 4 buildings (2 that you can actually walk into) and about 8-10 placards with descriptions of the mining operation and about Baby Doe. One building was the cabin where Baby Doe spent the final years of her life and included some pictures and a copy of her death certificate. You really didn't learn too much about Baby Doe from the displays in the cabin - her story was better told on one of the placards. The other building you could get inside had some displays of old mining equipment and tools but - again - not a whole lot of useful information. You learned more from the signs. Other buildings included a power magazine that you could look into and a couple of non-descript and otherwise unidentified shacks. Maybe the guided tour would have provided more information but by the end of my self-guided tour, I was glad I hadn't paid the extra $4 for the guided tour.
