The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the entire team was incredibly accommodating. They were very easy to work with and maintained great communication throughout the whole process, which made planning so much less stressful. Everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding, and they really helped bring our vision to life. We couldn't have asked for a better venue. We had a glorious time at the White Palace 2 today celebrating all the cancer survivors in Orange County. I'll keep it short and PC so the woke folks cannot complain. Unfortunately the food was not authentic, I wish they had kept the chefs when they bought the Seafood World restaurant. I had been in this White Palace 2 many times before when it was called Emerald restaurant. This venue is the best, it was really a beautiful night club serving Chinese food. They had New Years eve party every year and I will miss these forever. So if you are looking for a restaurant for your wedding reception, this is it. Most people are not that fussy, I notice people enjoy the ambiance and the beautiful décor for a memorable experience, I speak from my experience, my sister had her big birthday party and everybody I asked just loved the food. VACF requested a donation of $60 pp. The menu was very short, not your usual wedding menu. 1) The appetizers just had some chewy seafood, fried dough and oranges not the usual cold cuts and other delicacies. 2) The only good dish was the fried prawns in special sauce over noodles. 3) They did not even have a beef dish, the tofu was so bland I could not eat it. 4) Hainan chicken was so chewy, very fatty/greasy and bland the green sauce that came with it was also bland. 5) The fish was filet not whole fish like in many weddings I went to but it was tasty. 6) The fried rice was so bland nobody ate it, don't they try to put a little more soy sauce, there was hardly any eggs or char siu, not even enough onions for flavor. When my sister had her birthday party, she ordered the full wedding menu w lobster and only 3 out of 10 dishes were tasty. I'm writing this for my sister and cousin to take note, I will not attend my cousin 3rd live concert at WP, their sound system was loud and had echos, the sound is better here at WP2 but the food is the same recipes, not delicious and not worth the $150 I usually paid. I will of course attend next year VACF to support cancer survivors including myself. This year VACF throw a big party here. Dr Bich Lien, the founder husband just passed away of cancer, my husband just had a craniotomy so I feel her pain, she is a wonderful oncologist and accomplished humanitarian. She organized this annual event, she gave a heartfelt speech to open the reunion, God bless her, we had photobooths, raffles, entertainment with a show w singers, karaoke and an amazing ballerina. I could not believe I won a raffle prize. I'm looking forward to this annual event, the food to me was not important,it's the ambiance and the vibes that count and that added 1 star to my review. read more

I attended the Khanh Ha 50 Years Celebration concert at White Palace II on Saturday, March 14, 2026, and purchased two tables (20 seats). Upon arrival, I was shocked by how overcrowded the restaurant was; there were about 65 tables crammed inside the venue, far beyond what felt safe or comfortable. My husband uses a wheelchair, and he could not get through because the aisles were essentially nonexistent. All the tables were placed right next to each other with no setback or space to move. During dinner, if anyone wanted to go to the restroom or simply step away, they could not leave their seat because the chairs were packed tightly against the people behind them. Once you sat down, you were literally stuck until the event was over. This setup felt unsafe, inconsiderate, and completely disrespectful to guests--especially those with disabilities. It appeared that both the restaurant and the concert organizers prioritized packing in as many tables (and as much profit) as possible, with no regard for customer safety, accessibility, or basic comfort. I will never return to this restaurant or attend another Khanh Ha concert. If you want others to treat you well, please remember the "Golden Rule": treat others as you would want to be treated yourself! read more

I came here twice for two huge banquets and had a good amount of time tasting the variety of dishes offered here that I can say... maybe I would only come here if there was a party or banquet I was invited to. I prob would not choose to come here on my own to dine in. Food overall was strange... Both times I don't think there was any dishes that stood out at all, maybe the soup and the dessert in the end but only the warmed taro dessert was good. Restroom for ladies was never clean both times I was there, with one time only one out of the two was in service the whole night. I think they try but the food was just AOK, not bad but not good either and service can be hit and miss--only during banquets because there were so many people I can understand if staff is overwhelmed. read more

Ive been to white palace 2 on two different occasions in the past 3 months, 1x for a 50 tables plus and this time for a more intimate with 15 tables. Both times I had fun. The food is your typical asian viet food, not the greatest, decent. The venue is pretty big, the center stage is in the middle so every table has a great view. The waiters here are nice and fast with food and clearing plates. Restroom there are actually 2 different areas which is good. Overall chill venue and food. I had fun both times though. read more

My husband and I got married here a couple weeks ago. It's a beautiful venue and amazing value for everything you are getting. We loved how spacious it was and all the furnishings that were included. Tony and Tuan were very responsive to any questions we had, both by email & text. Some constructive feedback: The biggest downside to this venue for engaged couples to consider is that you may not get the venue for the whole day. Our wedding reception was in the evening at 5pm, and they told us that the earliest we can have vendors and setup crew arrive is 3pm, because they may have another event in the morning. While we got lucky and there did not end up being a morning event that day (so we were able to come in at 11am), the prospect of only having 2 hours to setup caused a lot of stress for us in the planning process. We almost had to ditch our vision for ceiling draping because the service needs at least 5 hours to be complete. This would have been a major disappointment. Overall, it is still great value, but definitely some inconveniences to consider if you're willing to work with that. read more

Had the perfect wedding here! The entire planning from start to finish with Tony and Tuan was smooth and had great communication. They made sure to make us feel comfortable with everything we needed along the way. There was plenty of room for my guests to move around, especially with a separate cocktail area. The perfect venue with incredible food and a top-tier open bar! We recently held our wedding at WP2 and it was hands-down the best decision we made. From the moment we walked in, we knew the space was spacious and beautiful, but what really blew us and our guests away was the quality of the service and the 8 course meals. The Food: Usually, "wedding food" can be hit-or-miss, but the 8 course meal here was spectacular. Every dish was served hot, beautifully plated, and tasted like it came from a high-end restaurant. Our guests are still raving about the Peking Duck, the House Special Lobster with noodles and the appetizers during cocktail hour. They even handled our guests' dietary restrictions with total ease. The Open Bar: The open bar was a massive hit! The bartenders were professional, fast, and incredibly friendly. Even with a large crowd, there was never a long line, and the drinks were poured perfectly. Having a high-quality bar service kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. Unacceptable. Had a wedding here and had such a bad experience i cannot recommend to anyone. They promised to allow vendors in to decorate by 130pm but still had another party in there until 4pm, eating and singing. Also they only served our cake to a few tables. Most people didn't get to eat the cake. 90% of the cake was not served and returned to us at the end of the night. Food was mediocre. I think rest of the reviews below are fake. read more
