Whether we're talking about the dome above the dance floor, the cloud-like decor, the well placed lighting, or the wine-glass tower with the "smoke bubbles"--I mean I've never experienced smoke bubbles in my life--the mood was always just right. I came here for a wedding reception and thought the space was very nice to have an event. However, food was okay to me. Our seafood in a bird's nest needed more sauce on the noodles to mi together, so it tasted pretty dry. Chicken salad was nothing special, and honestly I didn't enjoy it. The shrimp balls lacked flavor, even with the sauce. My favorite had to be the spring rolls they were passing around before the bigger portions came. Both as a guest and someone interested in large, cost-effective, and all-inclusive parties Diamond Seafood Palace is amazing. We came for a wedding reception recently and I know why so many of our Vietnamese friends come back over and over for their parties. They have great Asian banquet food and I liked the "twist" they put on traditional wedding foods. An example of this is their appetizer "cold" dish. I never liked this that much but loved how Diamond's version came with honey walnut shrimp and fried squid and not just the normal cold meat and jellyfish. The overall food quality was very good and I liked all of it but the standouts were the roasted duck with buns, crispy Thai chili fish, and fried rice. The event space is very large and they have security outside. The dancefloor and sound system are great for even very large parties and I saw a coordinator constantly making sure everything was going smoothly and even preparing impromptu vegetarian options for a vegetarian table. They allow custom setups as well, there was a cool table with Korean instant ramen and Vietnamese coffee that was definitely specialized for the couple being married. Came for a baptism reception. My favorite courses were the: assorted cold cuts, which included super plump honey walnut shrimp and crispy fried squid and the roast duck. The duck skin was crispy, with tender and slightly fatty meat that melted in your mouth, I was def impressed. The shaking beef was okay, a little too sweet for my taste. Lobster with garlic noodles was filling but some parts were overcooked. The fried fish towards the end was also excellent! Service was slow to start but coursed out appropriately. I wanted to take a moment to give this spot high praise. I have been planning a big event for months and Brandon was exceptional with communication. He was easily reachable and flexible with all my requests. It was easy booking and with everything pretty much set (tables, chairs, draperies, etc.), anything we brought in was only out of preference (DJ, A/V, decor, desserts, & flowers). Having the set-up ready to go & clean-up support after was incredible! There were a few slight issues that I found out about after the event. Two of the last dishes came late and a few tables stated that it was cold. Since the tables were smaller, dirty dishes accumulated fast! It would have been helpful having one more trash bin near the exit to help with clean-up during dinner. Overall, even with the imperfections, I was happy with our event! Thank you so much! I had MY wedding here this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The staff made planning/coordinating this wedding so easy. It's hard to find a place that hosts a massive number of people (my wedding had 330 ppl). We are grateful to have hosted our wedding at the Diamond Seafood Palace #3. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, thoughtful, and above all - stress-free. We had been searching for a venue that could comfortably accommodate 300-400 guests, felt modern and elegant, and offered great value. After speaking with multiple places, the team here stood out immediately for their responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine care, especially Laura, who helped us understand what the venue provided before we booked it. Our ceremony and reception both took place inside the restaurant, and even though another event was happening in a different section of the venue, we barely noticed thanks to the effective soundproofing. The space had a romantic and modern vibe, complete with golden chairs, multiple LED screens showcasing our wedding photos, custom lighting with our names on the dance floor, and a romantic sweetheart table. We were amazed at how much was included: from elegant aisle décor and a red carpet entrance to a seating chart mirror and photobooth. I would not recommend coming here for any banquets or family gatherings. Their family combo dishes were not good. It's either tasteless, salty, not fresh and/or dried. The only three dishes that were good are the cold platter, mushroom with sea cucumber and bak choi with gravy and fish maw with crab meat soup. The rest is forgettable. Attended a birthday/graduation celebration over the weekend here. The food was very good. Especially the lobster and the fillet fish dishes. This place was a traditional Chinese place where they served the main dishes one at a time. The only thing that everyone was hoping for is that they serve the fried rice along with the main dishes, instead of at the end. The service that we got from all the servers was the best. They were on top of everything from getting us the food to clearing our used dishes from the tables to create more room. They were also very accommodating. 1-Star Review: Disappointing Wedding Experience at Diamond Seafood Palace I had my wedding here a few weeks ago, and the experience was very disappointing. First, when I arrived early to prepare, I noticed the groom's name was spelled incorrectly on the electronic board outside. I had to ask them to fix it immediately before guests arrived. This should have been checked ahead of time. Second, the venue emailed me asking for the guest table list, slideshow, and photos for the big screen. I sent everything two weeks before the wedding, but when I arrived on the wedding day, none of it was displayed. There were no bride and groom photos on the main screen, no slideshow on the side screens, and no guest table list. Some guests were already arriving and didn't know where to sit. I had to call the manager to rush and fix everything last minute. It was extremely unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress. Lastly, several guests complained about the food. Some tables received a lot of lobster, while others said they only got lobster tails. The inconsistency was embarrassing. Overall, I expected much better organization and service, especially for such an important event. I would not recommend this venue for weddings. read more

It's been a week since I've had my wedding here. One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was choosing this venue! I am so happy that Diamond Seafood Palace 3 has been modernizing and adapting to more new ideas to keep up with trends. For example, they have a new backdrop that was added recently for this new year. Everyone including my husband & I loved it for our entrance photos with guests! Majority of our guests were Vietnamese. They love the LED screen and other screens that have our engagement pictures. Also the food was good, but some guests did mention the soup was a bit salty. Other than that, everyone loved the food especially the crab claw wrapped with shrimp, peking duck, lobster, XO yang chow fried rice, etc. Our guests also love the open bar and it made us happy since it was busy and crowded from the start as we were taking entrance pictures. There's mix drinks like Midori Sour, hard liquor, and beer for everybody to enjoy. Communication: I was able to communicate with Brandon and Laura. Both did a great job with communication. For this post, I'll focus more on Chu Brandon who is the main contact/manager for DSP3. We love how honest and straightforward Chu Brandon was when communicating with us. He walked us through the packages they have, add ons, and gave us tips/advice what would look nice. He would get back pretty quick when I had questions through text. He was accommodating which made things easier and we know how stressful wedding planning can be. Our top priority picking venues is space and DSP3 is spacious and open. Also, we love how there's a vendor table already. Wedding planning is stressful and overwhelming, so booking this venue and having Brandon to guide us through the process of getting the reception ready was a HUGE load off our shoulders. I had my wedding at Diamond Seafood Palace #3 on 05/17/2025. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I worked with Laura and then Brandon and they were both great throughout the whole process. They were communicative and answered any questions my wife and I about everything that went into the wedding from napkins colors all the way down the background lighting. I got the sweethearts package which got the champagne tower and I paid extra of the sparklers (which was a great touch) (see photo#2). My guests were vietnamese and taiwanese and they really enjoyed our food choices we got which was the lobster salad, house special seafood soup, crab claw w/ shrimp paste, peking duck, house special lobster w/ e-fu noodles, filet mignon, striped sea bass with ginger, and fried rice. This place was really great because it could seat all of our families which was 240+ guests. I had a fantastic time and my guests had nothing but good things to say about their experience here. All the workers are super attentive and food comes out in rounds pretty quick! All the food came out hot and fresh! The beef and walnut shrimp could pass off as real meat. 7/10 mushroom tofu and veggies was little bland. Lacked flavor and had to add soy sauce. 8/10 Noodles and cauliflower were good. Wedding: July 14, 2024 at Location 3 Tables: 30 (300 people total) Hello to anyone looking for wedding/celebratory venue, our names are Kevin and Mara. We got married at this location in July 2024 and our main point of contact was Brandon. If you are searching for a venue, we understand how uncertain you are feeling. It was very challenging for us as well, and we wanted to share our experience to help others and to also praise DSP3 on helping make our wedding day one of the best days of our lives. For our wedding, we appreciated the following when making our decision to book: 1. Two sets of bathrooms on both sides of the venue to cover our 300 guests. 2. A lot of space when using both sections of DSP3, to ensure our guests do not feel cramped. 3. Two changing rooms. We used both, and it was cool in terms of presentation to have groom and bride enter the stage from both sides after our 3 outfit changes. 4. Entrance photo backdrop (butterflies and flowers) looked very elegant and took a load off of our minds for decor. 5. The extra touches at affordable prices: cake, sparklers, security, easels, names on the dance floor, sparkling cider, ample parking, up-lighting, fog, and champagne ceremony. 6. Many projectors for our slide shows and our videos. Everyone got a great view because there were 3 projectors throughout the space! 7. Most importantly of this list is THE FOOD. The food looked and felt like a lot in terms of being hearty on the plate, and also tasted really good. Many compliments from guests on the Shrimp Paste Wrapped Scallops and Spicy Thai Fish. The following listed items exceeded our expectations and are things we learned during the night of that really stood out as sort of a surprise to us and our guests. 1. Biggest expectation exceeded for the night has got to be the giant LED screen. We went back and forth on whether to sit in the Sweetheart chair with its lovely flower backgrounds or to be a little different and sit on stage with the LED screen behind us. We are SOOOOO glad we chose to sit on stage with the LED screen and forgo the Sweetheart background. The LED in conjunction with our studio photos really elevated our presence, It gets a bit warm up there which is the trade off, but it was worth it to achieve a grander look (Photo attached). 2. Champagne ceremony had bubbles that blew as we poured. That was cool, and unexpected, and a cute touch (Photo attached). 3. We were kind of stressing about how to display the seating chart to guests. Brandon told us he can do it for a small fee which was great because I did not know about that option when we initially had a consultation/booking. It came out very elegant (Photo attached). Brandon provides the template, mirror and flowers, and we just had to customize the template to our theme and provide the wax seal stickers. They printed out the table lists for us and assembled everything for us on the day! 4. During the end of our first dance, the LED screen changed from our normal background into moving fireworks, which really enhanced our day-of-edit video (photo attached, Video link at bottom. starts at 3:33). There were a few observations that we had at no fault of the venue, but we want to share it here so others can learn and mitigate: 1. If your wedding is in the summer like ours, it was hot. I know the AC was on, but I still noticed guests fanning themselves. The AC couldn't keep up with the number of bodies and the California weather at first, but I think eventually the temperature got to a good spot as the night went on. 2. Our DJ had some audio challenges in the beginning, but we found the problem was with our file type. I suggest you try to do a tech check with both DSP3 and DJ before the wedding if you plan to show videos. Our MC fixed it by converting the file night of and we reshowed the videos towards the end of the night without problems. 3. For 300 guests, we did 5 cases of beer (3 corona, 2 white claws). I think by end of night there was 1 bottle of corona left. So, either everyone was too shy to take the last bottle, or 5 cases was just right. Aim for at least 6 cases to be safe, especially if you know your guests like to drink Overall, 5 out of 5 from us, we loved Diamond Seafood Palace 3 as our venue, and would do it again. The furniture modern with a lifted stage and dance floor, this place with usually friendly service would be a popular destination for Chinese weddings and celebrations during pre-pandemic times. I ordered to-go to celebrate NYE with some chow fun and fried rice dishes for our carbs side dishes. The dishes here are not as salty as other savory places, which itself is occasionally a welcome change of flavor. Came here on a slow Friday lunch hour to indulge in some family style Chinese dishes with a few coworkers. Although there's a bit of a name change from Seafood Palace (adding of the word Diamond) the service and food quality haven't seemed to have skipped a beat! Although our orders weren't taken for a while after being seated, the food came out hot and fresh, especially the salt & pepper pork chop, which is a personal favorite! My wife and I had an Asian (Vietnamese, specifically) wedding and decided that Diamond Seafood Palace 3 was the best venue for our reception. Prior to the event, we were in contact with Laura from Diamond Seafood, and she was very professional and responsive to any questions that we had regarding food/drink, timing, venue-provided decor, and pricing for services. We scheduled a tasting a few months prior to the reception, and were very impressed with the food from the menu that we selected. We had 1 change on the menu, and Laura was able to accommodate the change with no issues. When we got closer to the event, we met with Laura one last time to finalize the details regarding pricing/payment, food/drink, slide show, lighting, tables, and decor/floor set up. They were also able to accommodate a special request to ensure that our reception set-up was a little less hectic. At the reception, we were very impressed with Diamond Seafood Palace 3. The venue does hold other events that may coincide with your event (separated by partitions, separate entrances), but the partitions do a good job of blocking most of the sound from the other events. Highly recommend this as a banquet hall. I hosted my daughter's first birthday here. The private room was decorated and had a cute little flower wall backdrop where guests can take pictures. They set up a tea station and a couple of tables for me to use as a gifts table and dessert table. The food was good! Big portions and everyone enjoyed the standard lunch menu, which is similar to the wedding banquets if you're familiar with Chinese-Viet weddings. Honey walnut shrimp was good, even though I usually find this dish too heavy. We swapped out a steamed fish dish for the fried fish with garlic on one of the menus, and they were accommodating. We threw a birthday party for 90 guests here on a Sunday. We chose from their banquet menu and it was very affordable for the usual 8 courses. There was only a 15% gratuity they enforced even with the large party. My vendors came over 2 hours early to set things up. The restaurant allowed us to bring in our own alcohol which they would chill for us. We picked the napkin colors and they arranged the tables as requested. There is no speaker system but I saw a projector in case you wanted a slideshow/video of sorts. Food came out at a great pace and we were told by guests it was good. Super friendly service and clean bathrooms also. All in all, I'd throw another party here. read more

We have attend several events here. Food is good, even their vegetarian menu is very good too. Service is fast. Decoration is nice. Just one thing that they sublease this time, causing the temple have to cancel about 60 guests . So when you book this place, make sure to be firm about how many table you wants as soon as you could. I just held a reception for 460 people and everyone keeps raving about how good the food was, and all the aunts and uncles say how they want their kids to hold their future reception here as well. Brandon made things soooo easy for me during a time where I'm already stressed with planning.
