Sad to have to make this review! We've been coming here for at least 4 years. The cod fish fry has always been great with excellent potato pancakes. Bartender Kayla, (owner's daughter) has always been pleasant. This past Sunday 9/28/25 we stopped in for a drink at 5:30 after attending a Celebration of Life for a friend. We got a chilly reception, seeing as they were closing soon we were told The KITCHEN was Closed! We both ordered a scotch and club soda. Both of us said it didn't taste right. They were very faint in color and taste. When we mentioned to the owner, she got defensive and claimed "I've never been accused of pouring a short drink!" We didn't say she did. She then took our drinks and poured them in the sink saying "We're Done Here!". My husband & I looked at each and said "Let's go." that's when the owner said "I Think So! We then left! I can't believe the way we were treated! To treat your customers with such Disregard! The scotch didn't look right or taste right. Could be that it sits in the window with the sun beating down on it everyday or possibly it's watered down? Don't know. What I DO KNOW is we won't be going back! read more

If I could rate "0", I would. My friend and I went for drinks and burgers. We ordered a tap beer and margarita. Beer was warm and flat, so I asked for a different brand. My friend's margarita was an overly sour house mix which she exchanged for a can of IPA. We ordered food which was hot, fresh and good. We ordered another round except Kayla, our bartender, forgot mine. So I went to the bar to get. Twenty minutes later, we ask for our bill & were set to leave a generous tip for her, as it's not her fault, but the owners for dirty lines or warm tap beer. To our horror, we see "fucking bitches" printed on our bill and approach bartender who "appears" confused. Please boycott this establishment for your own good!! read more

In a local group I'm in on Facebook I've been seeing someone post about nightly specials that White Rabbit has, so I figured I'd give them a shot for a fish fry. I ordered beer battered perch with potato pancakes, two extra pieces of hand breaded perch so I could try both kinds of their perch, and mozzarella sticks. Even though I specifically asked twice over the phone for two pieces of hand breaded perch, I was only given one piece and charged for one piece. Although that annoyed me, I'm kind of glad in retrospect because the breading had no flavor at all. Other than the texture it was like I was literally eating unbreaded perch. Absolutely not worth $2 extra per piece. Also, I found it odd that since I ordered perch, I could only ask for additional pieces of perch. I initially tried to ask for additional pieces of cod and was told that bizarre rule. Since I was getting two different breadings I didn't think the kind of fish would matter, but apparently it does. As for the beer battered perch, there was a hint of beer, but the breading had no other flavor besides that. At least the breading was light and crispy. The potato pancake (not cakes because I only received one) was cooked well and had good flavor, but paper thin so it did not last long. The mozzarella sticks were well sized and perfectly crispy. I thought the cheese was a little sharp in flavor, but that's more of an observation than something bad. No one seemed to caring about the current COVID-19 situation. Not a single employee or customer was wearing a mask or distancing. I even felt like I was being judged by a couple of the burly, "tough" guy customers as I came in and walked towards the bar because I was wearing one. Didn't make for a welcoming atmosphere. There are a couple other things on the menu I saw pictures of that look good, but I'm not sure I'll be back given how my food experience and ordering/pickup experience went. read more

We found White Rabbit by checking Bring Fiddo to bring our new dog with us to enjoy our weekly Friday Fish Fry. Beautiful outdoor seating area in a garden setting...Tammy, one of the owners, was so friendly and even brought dog treats for our dog. The fish fry was absolutely delicious and potato pancakes were perfectly done. We were so impressed we came back the next day with friends to enjoy appetizers, wine and their famous chicken wings..which were incredible . . There was live afternoon entertainment , great prices, and Tammy even thanked us for coming back with a taste of one of her fabulous homemade desserts, Rick, Tammys husband is the talented chef and this is truly a gem in Ozaukee County. Stoped in after a soccer tournament. Wish we would've came after yesterdays game too...it was that good! I had the mushroom and Swiss burger and love that it was actually fresh mushrooms. Cheese curds were also delish. Hubby had the hottest wings...had to laugh that they wanted to him to try the seasoning first lol But what great customer service to provide! This place is our regular watering hole. Been going for a couple years now. Best fish fry I've had! Hand-breaded perch is fantastic. Wonton-wrapped mozzarella sticks is are a favorite. And their wings are legendary: you can get em baked or breaded, and with any of their house-made sauces. This ain't just bar food. This is *good* food. Try the Sinful Beef. read more

First - this place can be intimidating to a family walking in expecting a restaurant. They do have a dining area and high top tables around for you to sit at. At the time we went it was just the bartender working and a cook it seemed. Food was good for bar food. They had burgers, sandwiches and wraps. Good variety of each. Good amount of side options and appetizers. We had burgers and mozzarella sticks. Service was good. Maybe would return for a Packer Game or a specialty night to try something different. read more

Very laid back atmosphere. Very, very laid back. The owner engaged in conversation while having dinner and drinks, which was nice. I wasn't a fan of how she gossiped or complained about staff though. I appreciate the casual vibe but there still has to be a level of respect seen by customers. The food was typical bar food. Plenty of parking. It looks like they do tournaments of some sort in the summer as there is a large yard. So much room for activities! The drinks were good. Decent tap selection and my last mixed drink got me toasted. Two piece cod dinner reminded me of a high school fish stick lunch. Waitress was rude. Manager aggressively approached our table and told us that we would get a single bill - no splitting allowed (we did not ask for a split bill). They just opened today! Only curbside for the time being because of the coronavirus. I ordered a philly. It was hot, cheese melted, and tons of meat piled high. I had mine with French fries but you can have tater tots, coleslaw, or cottage cheese. The bun was super yummy. Crispy grilled but soft on the inside. Have never left a review in my life until now... never felt the need to until my experience at White Rabbit. All I can say is, do not support this business. Staff was rude and talked poorly about me and my brother in front of us. Wanted to grab a quick drink with my brother but was impossible due to the staff constantly "joking" with us by insulting our drinking habits (because we did not want to take multiple shots??? That we didn't ask for? Seriously?) and announcing to the whole bar that we wanted to pay for our beers and leave after staying for only 30 minutes. Terrible business, I will not return and urge anyone considering to take their business elsewhere. read more

Went for the fish fry on our first visit to White Rabbit. It was exceptionally good. I had the Cod with the potato pancakes. The fish was delicious and the potato pancakes were outstanding. They're served with your choice of sour cream, syrup or apple sauce. They were thin, crispy on the edges and hot. So good! My husband had the perch with French fries. He thoroughly enjoyed the perch, but the fries were some of the best we've ever had. They were thin, crispy, perfectly seasoned and hot. We were so glad we came here for dinner. There was another group we overheard saying the same thing. Service was fast , friendly and attentive -- couldn't ask for better. The only drawback is that the restaurant is pretty small. You enter on the bar side which has some high top tables and there is a small dining room around the corner. Can't wait to go back to try some of their other menu items. read more

I ordered takeout for the first time from here. I ordered wings, pizza, and the loaded tots. The sauce flavor on the wings was some of the best I've had in the area. I ordered the breaded. Next time I'll order the naked if I'm doing takeout. The breading was a little soggy by the time I got home. Certainly not the restaurants fault. I'm looking forward to eating there in person. We loved our fish fry last night and are looking forward to coming back to try many of the other items on their menu. I had the perch while my husband had the fried cod and we both agreed that they were equally delicious. Both fish were super hot and fresh out of the fryer and the potato pancakes were awesome. Bloody Mary's are INCREDIBLE and I love that they are the OG of BMs cuz I'm quite sick of all the riff raff other places are tossing into their BMs. Service was great and was as expected on a Friday night during the first Friday of Lent. read more

Service was great, greeted fairly quickly. Wings were excellent, but will probably ask for extra sauce on their hottest wings next time. Taste of chicken and the sauce was very good. Sides were all cooked perfectly. Clam chowder was on point. Server was very attentive no complaints there whatsoever either. Cannot say enough "good" about White Rabbit. Located in the old Edge of Town, White Rabbit is not only sparkling clean (marked by a conscientious wipe down of chairs, tables, menus and other items used by patrons between seatings) but the menu offers a generous selection of sandwiches, appetizers, and soups that are accented by personal recipe sauces. Servings are ample and served piping hot. Though I was happy to take half of my order home, I was only sad that I didn't have enough room to keep eating. My beef sandwich was so fresh, and wonderfully tasting! Their homemade sauce was perfect. Highly recommend! I walked in prepared to order a classic hamburger ....... and left with not only the remainder of my beef sandwich, but with anticipation of what I will try on my next visit.
