I was really looking forward to this coffee stop, but the experience fell flat. While I was there, three baristas sat behind the counter blowing bubbles and didn't engage with me much at all. It felt more like I was interrupting their hangout than being welcomed into a business. The drink itself was disappointing too--overly sweet to the point where it masked any real coffee flavor. Overall, not the level of service or quality I expected. Hoping this was just an off day, but it didn't leave a great impression. I won't be back. read more

My colleague and I spent some time here during a work trip. As others have mentioned, it is an odd location if you're not already working at one of the businesses nearby in the complex. (When the Uber driver turned into the complex, I worried that this was the corporate office for White Rhino rather than an actual coffee shop.) Fortunately, it is an actual coffee shop! It is not a huge spot and the seating was over half full when we arrived. It seems that a lot of others had the same idea: spend some time working here. The wifi worked and the table we shared was comfortable (mostly pairs of seats). I had a drip coffee and a cappuccino during my stay, along with a croissant cinnamon roll. The coffee was good and hot with a nice depth of flavor: not over roasted. The espresso drink was strong and also creamy (whole milk). The staff were friendly and helpful and the location, despite having many people in it, was quiet. I think the patrons were there to enjoy coffee and work rather than chat with one another. If that's your plan, you could do a lot worse. read more

I enjoy White Rhino coffee when I stop at other neighborhoods. I was pleased to see that there is a shop in Irving at Cypress Waters. Today,I tried the sugar free snickerdoodle hot latte. The only sugar free flavors on stock are vanilla and hazelnut so it really worked out for me. The shop is bright and welcomes natural light. Hope the shop stays around for a long time. read more

I figured I would go here since my partner was in town, and we like giving new coffee venues a try. It's in an odd location wedged between a bunch of corporate office buildings, but we were able to park in designated spots reserved specifically for White Rhino. The food and drinks are pretty decent. I ordered one of a 'Pink Dragon; one of their 'Chargers' which are their energy drinks. My partner got a 'Sebastian' which is just an Irish cream caramel coffee. For food, we ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a breakfast sandwich; both of which were very tasty. Our only gripe was that there are absolutely no signs or indication that they only take card for payment. Nothing outside the door or the register saying so. The guy who took our order waited until we were finished ordering to tell us... despite my partner standing there with cash in his hand the entire time, and he gave my partner a weird look and attitude when mentioning that they only take card. That's the only reason I'm not giving this place a higher rating. read more

Service is horrible. No greeting upon entering. One of the baristas had tell another worker to help after standing at the register for two minutes. I ordered a large black coffee. It took 13 min for them to have it ready...it wasn't busy but they were preparing a 'large' order (I kept hearing one of the baristas reference said order in an irritated tone). Regardless, 13 min for a black coffee is absurd. The coffee was good...not good enough to compensate for the horrible service. read more

For a Grand Opening, my visit went really well. They seemed prepared. The lady that helped me was great with recommendations and I ended up with a drink that I really like (Sebastian). Cute store with plenty of space and it's close to my job. I will definitely visit again. read more

I came here and met a friend to catch up. I got the strawberry pistachio matcha latte and it was amazing! It was nutty, barely sweet, and utterly delicious! The staff was great and brought my drink over when it was ready and on a late Saturday afternoon, it wasn't very busy and made for a nice place to meet up. read more

When this place first opened, it was worth coming to but idk if it's bc they've been hiring more people, but the coffees have been getting inconsistent my past few visits. For reference, my drink is a cold brew or an americano with some syrup so it's nothing complicated. But sometimes the coffee is too acidic or wayyy too much syrup, or not enough syrup. I don't love having to gamble with my coffee so disappointing to lose a cafe that could've been in my normal rotation. read more

The coffee itself is great but everything is VERY SWEET, even when I ask for half sweet I feel like I'm drinking Dunkin' Donuts. Most of the time I'll order an americano or plain latte now, their seasonal creations and flavor combos are delish but it feels like I'm drinking straight syrup. The team is usually incredibly friendly, a few times I've been given something I didn't order- hot vs cold, size differences, etc., when I politely tell them what I ordered they're visibly frustrated. The ambiance for this location is nice- it's small and they have a nice little covered area to enjoy your coffee outside. And then add the whole *discounts for ICE agents* debacle at the dallas location.. I'm starting to frequent WR less and less for the reasons mentioned above. read more

Really nice spot! The staff here are super friendly and welcoming, and the bright interior makes it feel open and comfortable. I had the matcha latte--it was good, but the flavor was a little weak for me personally. Only downside is parking can be a bit tricky since it's tucked between a bunch of office buildings. Stopped by after having some really bad coffee at the hotel. Hopping to get some good coffee and we were blown away by the lattes we got!
