Back in 2017, we had the Greenheart team come out and help us dream up a concept for a cozy backyard. Fast forward six years later, we're still so happy with the way it turned out. We've moved away since, but we kept the house and now serve as landlords. The intentionally low-maintenance backyard has kept its promise. The original yard was a clean slate covered with dirt and weeds. Our initial idea was to install a square piece of turf and surround it with flat pavers. Mike encouraged us to think bigger. He suggested adding curves and mounds to the landscape to give it character and personality. We decided to see his design concept, and once we saw it, we were blown away by how he transformed our ideas. The final result was a more rounded piece of turf with pavers sprawling into a rock-covered area. Thoughtfully planted trees and bushes grow into the space and attract hummingbirds. The recommendation for "pet paradise" turf was a great touch - it's been easy to keep clean and sanitary. While we didn't have pets going outside, plenty of toddlers put it to the test. Our new tenants have dogs, and the backyard seems to suit them well too. Now, having been in our new house for a few years, we're not satisfied with the current backyard layout. We had a lot of weeds and the grass was patchy and mostly non existent. We had a retaining wall that was just loose pavers stacked haphazardly. At the first appointment, we shared our vision with Travis from Always Green, he took measurements, and then he sat down with us on the designs. He also provided an estimate which was very reasonable (we had received other estimates from 3 companies that were all thousands of dollars more). He provided some professional recommendations. In the designs and we agreed for them to do the work and scheduled right then. After he left we iterated a couple times on the design until we got it right. On the scheduled day, the team Xavier, Manuel, Rene, and Juan came and started working building the wall and leveling the yard. The project manager, Tom, also came. I explained the job and walked them through everything we had finalized with Travis. There were a couple things that didn't get communicated from the design team to the builders, but they made sure they were clear with me before starting. The whole process took 3 days. Tom communicated well with us on the progress. Xavier made sure to ask questions if there was anything unclear. Also, they cleaned up pretty well after. There were a couple minor things that needed to be tweaked after, and they made sure to take care of those quickly. We had already had a couple come out and have seen some of the other turf products out there. Big Bully definitely had a much better setup with the mesh bottom for maximum draining efficiency. I told him about how we plan to have a dog run on the side of the house, so the dogs aren't always using the turf. When they laid everything out they had additional of their specialized sand that they put on the dog run side without even asking. Rich also offered to have his team finish the paver boarder around the edges of the turf and they were able to get that done as well. The guys did a great job and had it done quickly. Appreciate how everything was done smoothly. Absolutely happy with how everything turned out. Been out on the turf when temps were over 100 degrees and it was not overly hot to walk on, which I've experienced with other turf setups.

Not even knowing where to start, one day my wife just went into their store front to ask some questions since we drive past it every Sunday morning on our way to church. We did not have any referrals or know anything about his company beforehand. The office manager was super helpful and scheduled for Juan to come out to discuss more details. Juan came out and listened to our vision and ideas and offered a lot of good suggestions, but never tried to upsell with pushy sales tactics. He was honest, realistic and up front about all the detailed questions we asked. Within a couple of days, he put together some estimates with different options for us to consider with a design rendering. We had a couple of other companies come out also for estimates. Juan's estimates were reasonable, but it was really his expertise, honesty, and attention to detail that made us very comfortable with choosing Quality Turf. We approved the job bid on a Friday and the crew showed up the following Monday at 07:00 as promised - the project began! The crew showed up at 0715 every morning to start work, informing us what was to be done the day of and a couple of days ahead so we could plan our days. Juan was managing the project himself and came most every day to talk to us, answer any questions, and to make sure the work was done to his standards. This allowed us to avoid or minimize any rework because of inadequate or inaccurate communications. The crew worked fast, hard, and efficiently. They covered our newly redone pool every week before they started work to keep it clean and took the covers off on Sundays so our kids could use it. The crew always did thorough clean up everyday after they were done so there wouldn't be any mess in and around our property. They went above and beyond to make us happy! As the back yard was being worked on, Juan also worked with us and provided the plan with all the details for HOA approval for the front. We had Juan's team do a lot since we have a very large back yard - turf, pavers, fire pit, gazebo, plants, lighting, and so on. The project from start to finish took exactly 3 weeks as he estimated, except this also included some extra stuff that was not part of the initial project scope. When all the work was completed, Juan gave us a thorough walk-through and gave us tips and tricks on maintenance and on how to use some of the new infrastructure and equipment they'd put in. A few days later, he came back again to check whether we needed anything else and brought firewood for our fire pit and water guns, swim goggles, and bubble canon for our kids (after checking to make sure we'd be Ok with those)! There was one plant that wasn't doing too well from his own inspections - we didn't even notice or ask him. He assured us that they would warranty and replace it if it continued to not do well in the next couple of weeks. What amazing post project hypercare customer service and personal sweet and nice gestures! Our front and back yards have been transformed completely!
