    Chai latte

Overall was a pretty good experience. The views from the table outside were incredible of Mt. Adams. The latte was really good and the quiche was ok. Not my favorite veggie quiche I've had but it was still pretty good.

Best bakery I've ever been to and, if you're visiting the Columbia River Gorge, you must stop here. Every item we ordered was a hit, from the danish, cookie, avocado toast, to the breakfast sandwich. There will likely be a line out the door but it's worth the wait. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options. We even brought our pup. Staff are friendly and super fast! They know how to move the line and churn out loaves of bread quickly. Super impressive to watch. Thanks for the great Mother's Day breakfast. :)

We came here TWICE during our stay at the Postcard Cabins down the road! The bread is RIGHTEOUSLY delicious! I am considering driving back out there for the granola alone!!! During our first visit, we arrived kind of late, and there was only one loaf of bread left, and two small baguettes, and so we bought everything they had and a couple coffees and a chai latte to take with us to the cabin. That ended up being an incredible choice because the baguettes made amazing grilled cheese sandos in our little kitchenette, and the rye bread was a hit for breakfast with avocado. The chai was delicious and the coffee was stellar. We stopped back in for lunch on our way back home, and had yummy breakfast sandwiches that were delicious! My croissant breakfast sandwich was next level with delicious bacon and flaky, buttery croissant deliciousness that I would have once more in a heartbeat! It's a lively little joint, located in the great part of town , with wonderful young folks running the place and a great mix of tourists and locals.

One of my favorite bakeries! My husband and I always have to stop here when we're driving through on our way to a hike. They have a lot of fun and unique pastries, delicious bread, and incredible ambiance (insane views of mount hood from the outdoor seating). Everything I've tried has been amazing, some of my favorites being the olive loaf, rosemary sticky bun, parsnip date cake, butterscotch blondie, rhubarb hand pie, and the chocolate hazelnut babka! Haven't been lucky enough to snag a cinnamon roll but I've heard those are also amazing. Looking forward to my next visit!

believe the hype from all these yelp reviews. absolute gem of a bakery/cafe in White Salmon. It has a large dedicated parking lot, ample seating indoors and outdoors on the patio. The pastries with interesting flavor combinations. As we had already eaten a large breakfast, we got the ginger cookie. It was absolutely delicious - crispy on the edges, soft and chewy in the middle. The sugar crystals on top gave it the right amount of sweetness to the robust flavor of the molasses and ginger. So good! The drinks are equally great - robust and rich. The macchiato was one of the best and the matcha is fantastic as well. Service is friendly and the store is cute. you can see the team making pastries as well. Very cool and glad we stopped by!

Great fast, friendly service. We loved the salmon tartine and the Croque Madam was a favorite. We left with a box full of fresh baked goods. Plenty of outdoor seating. Easy parking

    Croque Madame

If you are ever near this bakery I would definetely stop by if you can! While I was there I had the Croque Madame and the Smoked Salmon Tartine. The smoked salomon was "good" but the croque madame was "AMAZING" and I would get it again. While I was there I also purchased the white rustic sourdough which I have no regrets about. It was not sour but nice and soft/ airy on the inside.

Good pastries, delicious, but I'm upset at how I see these pastries being treated here. The pastry enclosure was packed full will all kinds of pastries crammed together in one space. This is so out of date. Maybe this was fine back in the day before the Sinclair Dino was petrified and cloned but nowadays we understand that enclosures need ample space and the environments should be species specific. Muffins were shoulder to shoulder with cookies and cakes! I rescued several and brought them out to the wild where they could enjoy their final days. It felt like a pastry zoo in there. BUT WORSE. You must see for yourself because what I've seen is unjust

They sat us right next to the window though so it was basically like we were outside anyways so no complaints there. The bone marrow to start was a fantastic choice. I love bone marrow and this one did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked and great flavor I was getting every little bit out. For my main I was conflicted but decided to go with the octopus. I ate every bite of food on my plate it was so good. Octopus can be tough and chewy but this one was cooked so perfectly that I wished there was more. The sauce had a slightly spice to it as well which was really good especially on the potatoes.

They have plenty of outdoor seating for your little pups, though the water dish they left out was unattended to. As far as food, they had a whole plant-based menu to meet my vegan needs. More important, they were able to make a gluten-free sandwich for my partner with celiac. They took precautions to minimize cross-contact with gluten items, including wrapping the sandwich up separately and bringing it out to us first before bringing out our gluten containing items. The three in our group had mixed reviews on the food quality. I enjoyed my reuben very much. My partner and his mom thought their food was okay, and their portions were too small for the price. As far as the actual store goes, they carry a lot of what your typical natural foods store or food co-op would carry, though the prices seem more along the lines of what a Whole Foods would charge. For example, $3.50 for a single avocado. Considering that they are a small business in a somewhat touristy town, I guess that is a sound business decision. All in all, a good experience, just expect to pay a little more if you are going to shop or eat there!

I usually go with the turkey which has turkey, white cheddar, tomato, pickles, onion, lettuce, and hot mustard. It was a bit spicier than I would have liked, not that it was too hot, but that flavor was really dominant for me so I'd probably modify it a bit in the future or just build my own . My daughter loved her ham sandwich which comes with sprouts, avocado, and cucumber. My husband also really liked his Italian and their clam chowder. Split the St. Helens Burger, an order of fries, and a side salad with the recommended goat cheese (trust them--it was the right call). The burger was everything you want it to be. A fresh poppy seed bun, a perfectly cooked patty, sweet caramelized onions... and then came the poblano pepper. That little bit of smoky heat tied the whole thing together. Now let's talk about the fries because they deserve their own paragraph. These are, without question, my favorite fries. They arrived hot, crispy, perfectly golden, and had that satisfying crunch that makes it impossible to stop at just one. If you're a fry person, these alone are worth the visit. The side salad was fresh and flavorful, and the creamy goat cheese took it from "just a side salad" to something I'd happily order again. It was the perfect balance to all those delicious fries. If you're looking for a place that consistently delivers great food in a welcoming atmosphere, Kickstand Coffee should absolutely be on your list. We've yet to have a bad meal here, and it's one of those places we recommend without hesitation to friends, family, and anyone who asks where to eat.
