Smelled good upon walking in. I ordered a blackberry milkshake after it was recommended by one of the ladies working here. So I'm thinking it's gonna be something special. It was more of a smoothie with a lot of ice chunks in it didn't have much flavor. Whipped cream was the best part and let's just say it probably came from a reddi-wip can. The turkey pesto sandwiches was alright, nothing crazy but expensive for what it was. My sister got the Reuben and she said it was exceptional. Probably wouldn't be back for the lunch. I was really excited to try this place but it was such a disappointment. We got two bagels with cream cheese and the bagel literally had bare parts there was such sparse cream cheese. Didn't finish it. She "forgot" the flavoring in the latte and the milk wasn't frothed. This place is the cutest. The staff is so friendly. Came in after a hike and ordered a delicious BLT and smoothie. Only fresh ingredients are used as you can taste with each bite. The mixed berry smoothie was so delicious. Simply a cute spot. Also, in their bathroom they provide a changing table and what I thought was heartfelt is they even have diapers just in caee maybe you do that have any with you. I just thought this was a super sweet touch and I don't even have kids. Plenty of parking. Bathroom well stocked and clean. read more

Stopped in for a light breakfast while in town for vacation. It's a welcoming spot for both locals and travelers of all ages. We shared a full order of biscuits and gravy, which was very hardy and delicious, not what you always get at a coffee shop. My "good old drip" coffee was delicious and my wife's frap was prepared just how she order. The regulars treat us as if we were locals too. Was a great experience. We stopped by the next day and we were surprised to see that the parking lot was completely full, a great sign, so we had to use the drive thru. Order was perfect again. read more

My girl was heading here as she's a fan of their blended drinks, so I thought, "Hey, why not get something for lunch from there?" Never tried it, and love helping out local businesses especially during these times...and after their recent break in. She came home with a Reuben, one of my favorite items on any menu...unfortunately, the entire sandwich was ice cold. Well, first cold Reuben I've ever had but let's try it...well, I couldn't as the now soggy (untoasted bread) fell apart as I picked it up. I paid $9 for a sandwich I ended up giving to my dog (just the meat of course). Best of luck to them, but this will be my first and last stop here. This place is a cornerstone of town. They keep it local while catering to the recreation crowd. You get your money's worth on the sandwiches. It's hard to resist a milkshake once in a while. Sometimes I have to decide between the biscuits & gravy and the Reuben because they're both so dang good. It's hard not to pass up a fruit pie when they have them. Me and three of my buddies stopped here after a backpacking trip in the Indian Heaven wilderness. It was the first restaurant and we were ravenous. It was really great. The gyro and breakfast burritos were hearty, inexpensive and delicious. I got a cold brew coffee to wash it down. If I am ever back in this area I will stop in again. read more

Fresh, delicious coffee and polite, friendly service-- really hit the spot after a long day out in the woods. I stopped by late in the afternoon, and was afraid that the place might be closed or just have old, stale coffee left over from earlier. Nope; none of that: they brewed a fresh pot for me when I staggered in out of the cold and just said 'coffee'. Perfecto! Next time, I'll have to come hungry and try out some of their grub. I'm from out of town so I wasn't quite sure what to expect and went into it expecting to order an iced black coffee and put my own dairy free creamer in it when I got back. To my surprise, they had coconut milk, hemp milk, almond milk, and more!!! Walked out with a caramel flavored Frappuccino with hemp milk. It tastes AMAZING and the girls customer service was very much appreciated! Super nice and knowledgeable and they didn't mind reading some of the ingredients in the syrups. Currently writing this review while still sitting in Crosscut, listening to the two ladies working this Sunday gossip about the previous customer who just left. The couple who just left was handed the wrong order. They waited patiently for the staff here to correct and bring out their coffee- then they were on their way, at which point the two ladies began to blame and ridicule that couple and how it was their fault the order was wrong(out loud in front of everyone). We ordered first, then 2 other couples ordered after us. Those two couples were served before us and we had been waiting for close to over 20 mins at that point. Then the two ladies got busy chatting with customers in the drive through while everyone who ordered after us was served their food. I walked over and asked if or when our food would be served as we were on our way out of town, and asked why everyone who ordered after us had been served before us when they had a similar order to ours,(biscuits and gravy and sandwhich) and the cashier snapped at me and rolled her eyes stating our order was done and sitting on the counter, she just had to walk it out to us. I then asked if I can please have the water I ordered 30 mins ago and she walked away to grab our food and slammed it down at our table and came back with the water shortly after. I have never written a negative review, and realize mistakes happen. But this goes beyond mistakes, it was rude, unprofessional and elementary to say the least. We always tip generously and I had never wanted my tip back so eagerly at this point. We are leaving now and expecting the remaining customers in the deli to hear childish gossip about us as well. The one star is strictly because my husband enjoyed his sandwich. read more

The coffee is just so bad. My boyfriend and I both agree it weirdly tastes like an ashtray. The Rueben is pretty good. I just don't get why the coffee is so bad. Coffee was gross!! It went right in the trash. Asked for steamed half and half in the Americano with sugar blended in, I got it in a separate cup on the side with no sugar.
