I seem to recall the oral surgeon saying something to the effect that he's been in his profession for over 25 years and this was the most complex case he's seen. At any rate, my daughter had complications from the surgery and we had to go back many times for follow-up care to deal with infections on both sides of her mouth. She had to have some follow-up procedures that were pretty involved. The dentist, Dr. Mohebbi, was very knowledgeable, patient, and accessible when she was having any challenges at home. He truly went above and beyond in terms of compassionate care of a patient and wanting to solve the problems that my daughter was experiencing. Dr. Mohebbi thoroughly and respectfully explained the procedures, what we were seeing on the x-rays, the treatment, and follow-up care. The process from start to finish was about six months, and Dr. Mohebbi provided consistent and professional care throughout this entire time.

However, just this week, I was informed by my Dental Insurance Plan (Delta Dental) that this provider had chosen to go "off network" on February 10, 2024, and they did not inform me as a customer/patient. To me this is a very disappointing customer service issue. They should call each and every one of their customers that this impacts financially and let them know in advance of this impact. They did not do that. Hence, I am considering moving to another dentist because of this oversight. When I called to discuss, the office manager was quite rude in her explanation of this change. Again, a very poor attitude with a current customer/patient. I expect much more beyond the actual dental services.

The nice thing about New Brighton Family Dentistry is that they offer a package for customers who don't have insurance, which I really appreciated. During this visit the staff were amazing and so patient with me: the women to run the reception area, the dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth, the radiologist who took X-rays, and finally, Dr. Grayson!
