It was a long procedure and the dentist and his assistance checked in with me multiple times to see how I was doing and helping me to be comfortable. Initially the front office had told me that they would not be able to verify my insurance because it was the weekend (and even suggested that I might come back the next day), but when the crown procedure was diagnosed and recommended they were able to verify the insurance (which covered 50 percent of the cost). Very glad to have landed in this office and might choose to use them for non-emergency dental work as well.

I was very impressed with the office itself. The building is shared with mostly lawyers. Jess at the front desk was so friendly. Our main concern was that he would be able to eat turkey in a couple of days. It was all smooth sailing and a soft lunch at Key's Cafe to finish it off.

I saw this Dr bc of a genuine dental emergency. I could barely talk or swallow. Gabr just told me I would feel better in a couple days if I stayed on the antibiotics I was given by urgent care. He was rude and terse the entire time, and seemed to resent me when I asked questions. A couple days later, I was not improving. I could barely open my mouth. I couldn't eat or drink. I called him (he was near impossible to reach and you could hear the resentment in his voice that a lowly patient was wasting his time). I was set to leave imminently for a week in the Dominican Republic. I was agonizing over canceling my trip bc I was not improving. When I called, I asked him what the likelihood was that I would have a dental emergency on my trip. I swear to God, he said "I can't tell you one way or another." Not wanting to take the risk, I ended up canceling my trip. Travel Insurance required an explanation via a letter from him. He wrote that he reassured me that I COULD go on my trip. A bold faced LIE. I finally went back to my regular dentist and got the right antibiotics thank god. If I had followed Gabr's advice as described in his letter, I would be alone in the Dominican Republic in agony with an even worse dental emergency. Also, my insurance didn't cover the visit so that's $600 down the drain. He's a liar, treats his patients with resentment, and a bad doctor who doesn't know what he's doing. The one good thing about this place is that the receptionist, Jessalyn, is very nice. That's it. Otherwise, if you want to throw your money down the drain, be treated like vermin, get the wrong prognosis, get the absolute minimum care, and have a doctor lie and try to screw you over, this is the place for you.

My hygienist Crystal is gentle and lets me choose the flavor of my toothpaste and fluoride. We are similar in age so we like to chat about music and TV shows of the 80s/ 90s. A childhood stroll down memory lane which getting my teeth sparkly. Of course I've had other hygienists over the years and have never had a "rough" cleaning. Also many dentist's have worked in my mouth. From my childhood dentist Dr. Marvin (PD Silver Lake), to the late Dr. Kaatz (crowns and fillings), to Dr. Lutterman (crown) and currently Dr. Nguyen (crown and nightguard). I don't mind anesthetic but the vibration of the "drill" is annoying. They let me bring in my own earphones so I can listen to music while they are working. My last couple of appointments seem to fly by. And Dr. Nguyen is so kind and compassionate. And gentle when giving anesthetic...I didn't even feel it. She cares about doing quality work and made sure I was happy with the feel of my new crown/ nightguard. At my last crown visit they used a silicone suction device that kept my tongue and cheek out of the way. It also gave me something to bite on so my mouth wouldn't get tired from staying open. That was awesome! As much as I don't want dental work, I would like for that to be used again if needed. I have already recommended this clinic (and other locations of this company) to friends and family. They all seem to be satisfied with the care they receive too!

Everyone who works there seems to really enjoy what they do, enjoy helping people and enjoy where they work because they exhibit real warmth and concern. Nothing felt false or or forced. It was a very nice change from the indifference I've experienced at too many a doctor's office. Or the forced plastic emotion which is actually more shudder worthy! I felt none of that here . Not from a single member of the staff - from reception to dentist assistant to my surgeon to billing. Each individual seemed genuinely interested in helping me get the best care possible with the least amount of pain - both physical and technical (ie insurance!). I experienced several complications due to some bizarre problems so I needed to make many return visits, often with little notice. They always found a way to accommodate me! Even when I screwed up and forgot to arrange my travel in time - they quickly pivoted to the next option and got me in to see the surgeon. Almost unheard of these days! And my care was superb. I needed to have a number of teeth pulled. The treatment was so quick and GENTLE that my stress stayed low and spirits high. And when an infection invaded my jaw, my surgeon sent me off to North Memorial ER where he'd sent word of my situation ahead so my intake went ever so smoothly! I've never experienced healthcare that didn't seem to move at a snails pace. Not so this time! I checked into ER at 2pm on a Friday and checked out around 2pm on Saturday - AFTER having much needed surgery! The follow up care has been just as wonderful. I will add that when I needed an expensive procedure done that, although medically necessary, my insurance would not cover- go figure, the dental office provided a financing option that I would not have found elsewhere! I don't know who would lie about an infected tooth to get a root canal. Throughout the conversation, the receptionist was rude, accusatory, and unhelpful. She even lied to me when I told her I would be paying out of pocket as they were not covered under my insurance. She told me that paying out of pocket for out of network care was committing fraud. Which is not only stupid, but incorrect. A simple google search will tell you that is wrong, you can seek care wherever you want as long as they don't try to bill your insurance if they are out of network. This level of unprofessionalism and ignorance gives me serious concerns about their business practices. I would recommend seeking care elsewhere, I know I will be.

Not my actual dentist (pause, check name)…read more I am so in love with my Dental Center. 1) They have chocolate chip cookies and a fully stocked Keurig in the entry way 2) They offer paraffin wax hand treatments while you're getting your teeth taken care of 3) They offer nitrous oxide for your 4-year-old who refuses to get his teeth X-Rayed (those plastic X-Ray things do hurt) 4) They told me I have excellent teeth 5) I am in and out within 30 minutes I am so approving of dentists becoming competitive - you can tell this clinic is trying to keep its customers happy. I'm happy (but it could be the nitrous). I should also say that they have really great scheduling - I can usually get in within a week (if I'm flexible, or sometimes not), and they got my mom in when she had a broken tooth within a day (even though she hadn't previously been seen by their dentists).
