I hope we can work this through before upcoming litigation is started. $5500 is a lot of money to be ignored.

After receiving the full payment amount, he requested two additional payments for portions of the same project for which he claimed he "forgot" to charge for in his original/undetailed quote. Again, payments were issued to them even though my post payments cost comparison with other similar vendors indicated Southtown Interiors substantially overcharged me. A month later, he delivered wallcovering material and attempted to install some but the quality of the install was so bad, we had him and his installer stop work. He blamed the wallcovering material as defective and has since indicated he filed a claim with the wallcovering manufacturer for material replacement. Since then, no further work has been completed by Southtown Interiors in spite of my repeated inquiries over the past couple of months that only result in new new excuses for endless delays in issuing appropriate refunds as requested, delivering/installing window treatments, etc. In summary, Southtown Interiors took my money and I received almost nothing in return aside from a multi-months long runaround so now I am intending to file a lawsuit against them to get my money back.

I just had a miserable customer experience with Kurt, who is rude, impatient, arrogant, disrespectful, and used abusive language in his replies (ass, dishonest, thief etc.). NO ONE is worth such treatment as a customer. I had a premium cordless blind to be repaired. This business, and the other one in the Naperville area, are the only 2 "certified" vendors to repair it. I first found this Ogden Blinds, but it is not a normal store, instead is a house address, suspicious already. Then I called the other certified vendor, who is VERY nice and patient, but they are further away from me. So I called this Ogden Blinds as this is the only option now. In a short 2 minutes call, Kurt already showed his disrespectful and impatience to customers. He thought me, as the first time customer, should already know how this home based business should run in terms of transaction details. Had to swallow his attitude as this is now the only option. Then, later, during couple text messages regarding how to drop off and payment etc., he remained arrogant, to the point he left a voice message with very abusive language. As a person and customer, if one wants to experience what a miserable customer service attitude is in this modern world, this would be a textbook example. The premium blind brand should seriously audit the customer experience quality with this vendor. This has to do with this brand's reputation. I don't need any "thank you for your feedback etc." from this business. Kurt's arrogance and rudeness apparently is the secret sauce to fulfill Ogden Blinds' business goals.

We, once again, hired Budget Blinds to dress all the windows in the house. Like in the past, they came out, they gave us a consultation, and we wound up ordering $8,000K worth of window treatments. Since June, here is what's happened. 1. Two rooms of treatments were snagged and coming apart at the seams 2. Wrong color and size of cords were installed 3. Valances were measured incorrectly and needed to be reordered and installed 4. We were told that it would take 3-4 weeks for the entire houses treatments to come in and we didn't receive everything until late November and still waiting on resolution on damaged treatments 4. Our Main Living Room's treatments were installed in November and the installer and myself noticed small tears in the seams on all three windows. Pictures were taken by the installation person and sent to my sales person. She NEVER followed up or had anyone call us to acknowledge the problem or let us know what they were going to do to remedy the problem. Finally, it's almost March and received a voicemail and email from my sales person's assistant. Better late than never, I suppose. She called to let me know that they wanted to take down one of the window treatments in our front room that was torn and send it back to the manufacturer. In other words, remove a main treatment in a room where one full window would be bare and the others not. Also, they still wouldn't let me know what was going to be done. Would they fix the treatment? Not fix it? How long would a resolution take? Will we go another eight months without resolution? They also called to tell me that the wrong pull cords were in and ready to be installed. To be honest, I've moved past this a long time ago. The cords are the least of our problems. To wrap up my review, I received an email from my sales person letting me know that they expect payment in full on all treatments. I had paid in my invoice full other than the torn treatments in my front room, which I was waiting for them to resolve before I submitted payment. They blamed the manufacturer with the delay on all these issues and would not take any blame for this entire nightmare and just treated me like someone who doesn't pay their bills in their final email. All in all, over the last ten years, we've spent about $20,000 with Budget Blinds. I think they know that we pay our bills. I just don't pay for something that's damaged without resolution. I will never use this company again nor recommend them to anyone I know. Since this has happened, I've already heard from several people that they have ALSO had a horrible experience with this company. I wish I would have asked around a bit more before hiring them again. There are other companies out there that have better customer service and workmanship. I think it's worth spending a little bit more money to get better products and customer service.

During our 2-hour consultation, Dawn not only found a color that perfectly matched our style, counters, and backsplash but also spotted opportunities to refresh the colors in the dining room and entry to bring the whole design together. Her color savvy is fantastic, and she asked great questions and listened carefully to incorporate our preferences and ideas. She left us with paint swatches for all three rooms, and the new colors look incredible. Dawn's color consultation more than exceeded our expectations, but she didn't stop there! She also suggested ways to update the kitchen and dining room lighting to be more functional and coordinated. Her after-visit email summary included links to all of the ideas she had offered, including multiple options for fixtures that were very affordable and perfect for our spaces. We love the new lighting. To top it all off, when we told Dawn about our longer-term goal of renovating our kitchen, she offered fantastic ideas for reconfiguring the space to make it more functional and appealing. She followed up with detailed recommendations in her after-visit email summary and included rough drawings to help us visualize thew space. The 2-hour consultation with Dawn was an incredible value, and we definitely want to work with her on the kitchen renovation project!
