We were told it could be one issue, then it turned into another, but in the end nothing was fixed. We even paid for a new airbag that didn't solve the problem. When we picked up the truck, one of the tires was obviously low. After spending that much money, you'd think they could at least put some air in it out of courtesy. What disappoints me most is the lack of honesty. I wish they had simply said, "I don't know what the issue is, you should take it somewhere else," instead of playing the guessing game on my dime. To be fair, I've had good experiences here with oil changes, but based on this repair I would never recommend taking your vehicle here for electrical, stabilitrak, or cruise control issues. I'm really bummed about the money wasted and that my truck is still not fixed.

I looked for somewhere to get this checked since I will be traveling further and picked this place based only on the current 5 star rating. They definitely live up to this! I walked in and immediately felt comfortable. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of as a woman. Things were explained to me with care and respect. I honestly wish I lived here so I could get my car serviced all the time. Overall FANTASTIC customer service!

About 15 minutes later a man comes in and just stares at me without saying a word. Finally, I said, I am here for an inspection. The man says, "Where's your insurance". I had it pulled up on my phone and when I went to show it to him he grabs my phone and heads out the door with my phone without saying a word. I followed him of course. He takes my phone to some other man and then comes back and asks for my keys and heads out. After about an hour and a half of sitting in the empty office, he comes back and takes about another hour to write out my report, all in complete silence. Finally, I pay and he hands me my report and I head out the door thinking all was well. I get in my car and go to take pictures of the report to send to the dealer I bought the car from so he can transfer the title. That is when I notice that my car had failed! The guy do not even tell me my car had failed the inspection because of the window tinting. So I head back in and ask him if the car failed to which he said, "Yes". I just stood there kind of shocked at the complete lack of interest in communicating with me. In three hours the guy had said a total of four words. I asked him what I needed to do to get the car to pass and he just stared at me with a blank stare. After much pressing, he finally said that if I got the problem fixed, to bring the car back and they would pass it without the need to reinspect it. So I left to find a window tinting place to get the tint stripped off. By the time I got this done, it was after hours, so had to wait until the next day to go back in. The next day I took the car back, and again, there was no one in the office. After a good wait, the same non-talking guy comes in and I show him the receipt from the professional Tint company that the tint had been removed. The guy again just stares at me. Finally, he says, "It is raining. We cannot do the inspection in the rain." I reminded him that he said that it would not be re-inspected if I proved the tint was removed. Then he says, "My manager is not here. He is on a call in Corpus." I told him that I was from out of town and I needed to get this done today and again he just stares at me and says nothing. I sat down in the lobby and we both sat there in silence for 20 minutes. Finally, I reminded him again of what he said the day before and asked if he could call his manager and tell him that I have a receipt for the professional removal of the tint. The guy said that he did not know how to the inspection system and that he was not authorized. So we sat in silence some more. Finally, I got up to leave and as I walked outside and I see the manager pull up. So, I think, "Oh good, now I can get this done". So I go back inside and sit down expecting the problem to get solved. After an hour, the manager finally comes in to tell me that the actual inspector is the tow truck driver and is in Three Rivers at an accident scene and that the inspection cannot be done due to the rain. I was like, "What do you mean,? There is no need to do an inspection. It has already passed everything except the window tint and I have proof that has been fixed. Then the manager says that he also does not know how to use the inspection system and the inspector is out on a call. That is when I lost it. I was like, "Listen to me. I do not live in this freaking town. I came here to buy a car, and after I bought the car, the car dealer tells me I have to get it inspected so he can transfer the title. I come here to your shop and Mr. Worst customer service rep on earth, who evidently is a mute, hands me an inspection report and never even bothers to tell me the car did not pass. I had to figure that out all on my own. Then he tells me that if I get fixed, I can come back and you can amend the report. I have been in your damn shop for three hours now and you are telling me to come back tomorrow? Really? I don't live here and I am not coming back tomorrow. I have done what you asked. So find a way to get me the report! I am not leaving this office until you do!!!. This place is run by a bunch of clowns. They have a sign that says that they offer inspections and the hours they are available. But evidently, the only person who knows anything in this shop is the inspector and he is doing everything, including driving the tow truck! I have never seen such a bunch of incompetent people in my life. Not only are they incompetent, they have zero desire to try to be decent people and even communicate with customers.

This concerned me! I got onto Google Maps on my iPhone, and searched on "tire." Up came a variety of shop options in the Mathis area, and I decided to try Mathis Express Care. I pulled up, got out of my car and went into the office. The office was spotless. Coffee was brewing. Motivational signs were posted on the walls. I took a peek out the side door to the shop, and a mechanic working there said they'd be right with me. I pulled my vehicle into a shop bay and it turns out, all my tires needed a little air. I was good to go quickly thereafter. So grateful to have found them. And they would have done this for free but I tipped the fellow who was kind enough to help me. This Yelp review is an extra little thanks.
