This is a great and unique cafe! They have a huge selection of rolls, breads, pastries and cookies at any time of day. I have also tried their bubble teas which while not their specialty, are still pretty good. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty bumpin. Not sure if the parking lot supports all the traffic the place can generate but it wasn't an issue for me. Good looking cafe ambience with all types of seating- lounge chairs with smaller tables, tables and chairs, etc. Lots of choices when it comes to breads. What I will say is they are almost all overpriced. A bag of cookies for $7-9? Unsure. I tried a bread labeled "Mochi" but it ended up being a cream cheese type bread with raisins and nuts. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. The hazelnut latte was eh. Not much hazelnut flavor. Would have been more impressed if it tasted that way as a plain latte but as a flavored one, it missed the mark. Im basically a donut, croissant, pancake, muffin, any kind of pastry lover. This place is like my ultimate dream come true when it comes to those sort of items. They probably had 60+ breads or pastries to choose from and even have samples to try! The inside of the store is really cool and we loved the tiny seats next to the window with a round table to share food on. The food: We got 4 different pastries and honestly I cant remember their names. With that being said, we had an item similar to a cinnamon roll that was caramelized on the bottom with pecans on top and that was my favorite. We got a cream cheese filled roll that was just as good if not better in the girlfriends eyes! We had a green bean pastry which was foreign to us but we loved whatever the "green bean" pastry had in it. The coffee roll was the least impressive of the bunch, but it tasted like a roll infused with coffee and was yummy. The coffee: We both got hazelnut coffee as we're hooked on Paneras. We both thought the coffee was really good but not quite as good as Panera Hazelnut which is a high mark to hit. LOCATION Taking a left turn INTO the bakery during peek rush hour times or taking a left turn OUT of the parking lot can be overwhelming. Save yourself the stress and take the back way out/in. Don't be afraid to utilize the light at Oakcliff Road for those tricky left turns. II. QUALITY Never had any complaints. Everything is baked fresh daily. I've tried so many pastries here and even the fish-shaped buns. Nothing ever fails to meet my expectations. My new study spot. I'm currently studying for one final exam, and was in desperate search for a chill study spot. With COVID happening, and being locked up in the house forever, I wanted to switch up my study atmos' so I decided to check out WWBC. Let me just say, this is truly a hidden gem! Not only is the cafe super spacious (with both outdoor and indoor seating), it is super clean! They are practicing social distancing, so not all tables and seating are open, which is fantastic. I was greeted right away, which I super appreciated. They have a wide assortment of pastries, so I'm glad I had dinner before coming or else I would have purchased everything in sight, as everything looked so fresh and delicious. I came here on a Tuesday evening around 7pm, and it was somewhat crowded. However, I was able to snag a seat near the entrance, which was great. As I wasn't hungry, I opted for a green tea bubble Thai tea, which was sooo good! Wow! I never had a bubble tea that tasted so good. And coming from San Francisco, I've had my share of bubble tea's. Overall, this is a fantastic place to come to work, study, meet up with friends, or just come to people watch. We were filling up pretty quick and it got out of hand in the sense that we had to spread the bread out to see how many we got of each. There was a small table on the side, and it wasn't being used by the workers. So we put it on there to count/check, the guy working told us to move it all and to do it at the register counter. We weren't ready for check out, but also, does it hurt for us to use the table just for a second? After we took it off, the guy wasn't even using it at all! This is a hidden gem and now my go-to spot for my coffee. I love the atmosphere it's so cozy and clean. I came on a Saturday morning and they were very busy. They have a variety of unique pastries, sandwiches and coffee to choose from. I really love how fresh and soft the pastries were. I ordered a iced caramel macchiato, hazy latte, caramel macchiato, blueberry scone, wrapped sausage. They were all delicious. The coffee ranges from $2-$5 depending on the size you want but some of the coffee or beverages only come in one size. They offer wifi, seating inside and outside on their patio. I would say it's a good place to study but due to them being so busy it will get nosey. SO MUCH cream cheese custard and it wasn't necessarily sweet so it tasted tangy and... overwhelmingly cream cheesy. Not enough dough for that. Will not get again. The staff was REALY FRIENDLY. My favorites are the fish shaped cakes and the creme buns. Places like this offer really healthier options of sweets vs other places. I personally like the I idea that my sweet tooth will be satisfied without a ton of cavities after. They have a natural sweetness that is quite addictive. Modify the coffees and drinks to not be so sugary and you can actually enjoy chasing down the breads. The fish shaped cakes are some of the best I've seen around town, they offer 2 flavors in packs of ten. I got 1/2 choux creme with is like custard texture, and red bean. Other places have Nutella and powdered sugar which is way too sweet. These little fishy shapes hold their shape and offer a nice chewy texture which is fun to eat. At the counter you can order hot and cold drinks. We got a curry pastry and a sausage bun. Both were made really well! The curry pastry is covered in panko breading and has curry filling inside. The sausage buns were generous with sausage filling and also has this red savory sauce drizzled on top. I got a cafe mocha as well. Everything tasted great and service was fairly quick The tables inside have cards clearing stating which ones are closed for social distancing, and the place has good airflow. I came here on a Sunday afternoon to get some work done and had a decent experience. I will say, with so many other bakeries and cafes in the area, White Windmill is not my favorite, but it gets the job done. I do appreciate that they are open fairly late, have ample room for groups to meet or individuals to work/study/relax, and the staff is still wearing masks. They are a bit on the pricier side, but I think the quality could be better in terms of the beverages. Parking can be a bit difficult depending on the time of day, especially because it does seem like many people come there to have a few productive hours. It was fairly busy when I came and I was able to find parking around the side of the building with no issues. read more

They are: LYCHEE POPPING BOBA, MANGO POPPING BOBA, COFFEE JELLY, RAINBOW JELLY Once the cakes are gone in the showcase, there are no more for the day!
