Me and my wife stopped by Sidecar Coffee on my birthday not too long ago. We were exploring DT Chamblee and realized there was a coffee shop inside Chamblee Tap & Market. They had some seasonal drinks for February. I got a strawberry matcha drink and my wife got an iced coffee. My matcha was really good! I don't normally like matcha, but when combined with strawberry, I LOVE it. The drinks are averagely priced, and they have a good selection of different drinks. The staff were really friendly and answered the few questions we had about some of the drinks. There is plenty of seating inside, but we ended up sitting outside because the weather was really nice! Sidecar is located inside's Chamblee Tap & Market. There are a few parking spots next to the market, which is where I parked. We look forward to stopping by again in the near future! read more

Had to checkout Sidecar since it's a small business and a super cute cafe located in the heart of Chamblee downtown! If you have trouble finding it, look for the Creature Comforts Umbrellas, it's inside the food court. The parking is a bit whack tbh, scraped my car and not a fan of that situation. The only reason I am hesitant to go. The Matcha was absolutely delicious, I mean look at the color. Got their latte with Oatmilk and Blueberry Lavender syrup which ended up costing me $8.64. A bit pricey but their syrups are made in house and they have so many options to pick from. Tried their Sweet & Spicy Chili Toast and I do not recommend at all. It was very underwhelming and I will not get again. Also super expensive for one toast. The service was nice and quick. Recommend for their drinks! read more

Such a dog friendly coffee shop with kind staff! We enjoyed the matcha latte & coffee with pumpkin in it. Lots of seating inside and out. Reasonable prices. They offered my dog a pup cup which he was obsessed with! We also tried their pistachio croissant and gruyere twist which were both just OK but I didn't mind considering this isn't a french bakery. I was out running errands with my family and decided to stop by Sidecar Coffee for a quick pick-me-up. Sidecar is a stall located inside Chamblee Tap & Market. Parking is limited to the small area next to the market as well as street. They serve coffee, tea, as well as breakfast and lunch toasts and sandwiches. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered a hot honey-cinnamon oat milk latte for myself, iced dirty matcha latte for my son, and a hot Americano for my dad. Our drinks were prepared quickly. However, they made my son's matcha hot instead of iced. When I brought it to their attention, they quickly fixed it. Our drinks were delicious. This place has some of the best coffee, but they are really small. I cannot believe all they get done, considering they serve pretty good breakfasts, in addition to their full coffee menu, The employees are so nice, and I really appreciate that since they are dealing with customers back to back, I never see a break in their line. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and they have their own parking lot that is small as well as parking available across the street. This is a very family friendly location that is also a brewery/BBQ joint at in the afternoon. The coffee alone makes it worth the visit, but it is a great place to meet with friends and I would suggest going out of the way for it. read more

I wasn't impressed with Sidecar coffee in my visit. My wife and I tried both a regular espresso and decaf espresso, but neither were great. The regular espresso was okay but a bit weak and didn't have any distinguishing flavor notes. The decaf espresso was similarly a bit weak but also bitter. The service was extremely slow in our visit as well. read more

There is Limited parking in front of the building. It's a small cafe apart of a food hall. I tried their seasonal coffee but next time I want to try their various syrups that they make in house. Saturday afternoon at Sidecar Coffee Shop, located in Chamblee Tap & Market, turned out to be an unexpected delight! While exploring the neighborhood, I spotted a sign that led me here -- and I'm so glad it did. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a friendly cashier, and the entire team behind the counter impressed me with their proactive and coordinated effort in preparing specialty drinks. Their teamwork created a welcoming and efficient vibe. After browsing the menu, I decided on an iced caramel coffee paired with a slice of banana bread -- and both were absolutely delicious! The rich caramel flavor in the coffee was just right, and the banana bread was moist and flavorful. Sidecar offers ample seating both inside and out on the patio, making it a perfect spot to hang out, study, or simply take a break. Convenient parking is available on the side of the coffee shop as well as on nearby streets. I'm excited to have discovered this gem and will definitely be returning soon! read more

Sidecar Coffee is in a cute little spot in Chamblee although a little difficult to find as there was no signage. The matcha was solid! S'mores latte was super sweet and all you could taste was the syrup. The Turkish eggs (or egg I should say) was okay. Definitely don't expect a filling meal, it only has one egg cut into 2 halves. For the price (~$12 I believe), I'd expect at least one 2-3 eggs since it's just Greek yogurt, chili oil, avocado and some toast. Nice vibe but not sure it's worth what they charge. read more

My husband and I have a ritual where we visit different coffee shops on the weekend. Well, we were in the Chamblee area and found Side Car via Yelp. It's a cute little coffee shop inside what seems like a mini food hall. Very dope vibes. Both my husband and I had flavored lattes (can't remember the names) and he ordered a pastry. Fantastic coffee shop in the corner of the Chamblee Tap & Market - well worth a visit! Menu is pretty interesting with both traditional and unique options. On a weekday afternoon, the patio was scattered with solo and small groups of customers enjoying their caffeine break in the September sunshine. Even though the other outlets don't seem to be open in the daytime, Sidecar had a healthy number of patrons chatting, working on laptops, reading and relaxing. What a totally different vibe from the corporate-run branded coffee shops on every street corner. The patio has several shaded tables available. Parking may be tricky, but head over the other side of the street for free public parking near the city hall. read more

Talked to the barista about how minor figures gives lattes a watery texture. Thankfully that wasn't the case here. My ice vanilla latte was creamy and balanced. Great flavor. I'm so glad we went to this place today despite it not having a ton of reviews. They make some of their syrups in house, and I ordered the gingerbread house made one in my latte. It was phenomenal. My fiancé ordered a plain oatmilk latte but with brown sugar cold foam on top (love that they offer that). I appreciated that the drinks weren't too sweet. The only reason that I'm not giving a 5/5 is because the espresso tastes good but is pretty light, and we prefer a more intense roast. That's really it though. If you are a remote worker living close to Chamblee, you don't need to look further for your daily coffee hit. Sidecar makes some of the best lattes in the area! Highly Recommended: Seasonal Mango Matcha, Iced Matcha Latte, Iced Vanilla Late, Cappuccino. My goto is their iced matcha latte. At this point I have tried every matcha latte in the area, and hands down this is the best one! Aside from having some of the best drinks, they have the best seating arrangement for remote workers, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Further down they have additional seating which serves as their "quiet area", or maybe a place for you to take meetings if no one else is around. If you are also looking for a quick bite to eat, try their Avocado Toast or Pesto Sandwich. Food here is a tad bit expensive, but if you want to splurge a little, their avocado toast is one of the best in the area. Finally, parking is free and abundant! The only downside I can think of is they close at 3PM on most days because of some nearby renovations. Once that's over, I don't think I need to go to any other cafe in the area! read more

Very cute spot! I don't spend a lot of time in Chamblee but Sidecar Coffee is one of the things that makes me feel like that needs to change. The coffee shop operates inside of Chamblee Tap & Market and the small ordering area makes the "sidecar" name appropriate. Although it wasn't very busy when I arrived around 9 am on a weekday, it took a little while to get my coffee order because there were only two people working. I went to Sidecar over the weekend. The location is odd. It is inside the building for a different business. You walk in, not even a full step in and boom, it's to your right. Easy to miss. Not a sit down place, just a corner of the building. The other business does offer seating. The parking lot was also a sliver of concrete that is easily filled , of course there is parking in downtown which is an easy walk. Coffee wise: I ordered an iced oatmilk latte with white mocha and brown sugar cinnamon. The cinnamon went straight to the bottom and I could not taste the syrups. Very not good for almost $8, and I got the smaller size which was 12 oz. Has potential. The customer service was great, clean cafe and big menu for a small place. read more

What a nice surprise! This little gem of a coffee shop has so much seating inside and out. Inside there are high top tables, low tops, booths, counters, just so much space for those who need to work or those who want to socialize. There was a lot of both going on which was nice to see. The outdoor seating is fully covered which means you can sit outside even if it is rainy out. Right across from the shop is a large amount of green space in front of city hall. Ok- so for the beverages, we ordered two hot chai lattes, one with whole milk and one with oat milk. They let me know that the chains made locally (yes please) and is a little sweet but definitely has a kick to it. They were not lying! While my teen prefers the sweeter style chai, I loved this spicy one. The menu looks amazing, but I was not hungry. We will definitely be back again to visit. read more

The food was good. 9 bucks for a slice of toast seemed excessive. I would think you get 2 slices. It's was quite good. Coffee is really good, probably some of the best around. Huge eating area and many people were there in their computers. Not overly loud considering the space. They also have a patio. Efficient walk up counter service. Just about everything you would want/expect from a local little cafe. I rarely order flavored drinks, but have been impressed by the two flavored lattes I have ordered from them.
