Long overdue review!…read more Chris at Island Greens Golf is a golf genie that can make all your golf problems go away. I just started playing golf earlier this year. I have taken a few lessons with other coaches but i was still unable to get a good connection with the ball. After my first lesson with Chris, my golf game improved 100%. His approach is different from the other instructors ive encountered. You can tell he is very passionate about the sport and he loves to teach. He is also very patient and can tell you what you are doing incorrectly pretty much right away. The only reason Island Greens Golf has lesser reviews than other indoor golf facilities is because they just recently opened this year. I highly recommend Island Greens Golf!

They are pretty fast and challenging as well. The whole course is based of three 9-hole courses. So you can play a full 18 or just 9. The staff here are very welcoming, and for being a Hispanic I was well amazed at how they treated me like a customer and didn't shown any signs like I didn't belong there. My buddy Lu and I are Army veterans, we were also amazed how they celebrated and honored Veterans Day with the US Flag on every hole. My only complaint is maneuvering around to the course to find your way back to the main building or the next hole on courses 2 and 3. Overall, I was happy and satisfied. I will be coming back at least once a month if I can.

Kudos for having coolers filled with ice near the banjos. No kudos for not having a cart service on the weekend. So, bring your own snacks and beverages. Also, be aware that there are many resident/member events so check with the pro shop first before booking a t-time.

I had a resident call me over and tell me that he had been watching us when a ball ventured close to his house. I said yes sir can I help you. He said that my wife and son were horrendous and had no reason being on a golf course. I asked if anything was hit or broken near his house and he said no. He said that we just had no reason being in Sun City and that it should be illegal for people like us to play there. Hitting an 85 is not great, but not horrendous for a 72 par course. I left my first round of golf ever at hole 16. This is what you get for being polite. I guess I should have just shot him the finger, but that's just not who I am.
