When I was training for marathons, I literally bought a pair of running shoes every 6 months because of the long distance running. I always know when I am ready for a new pair of fitness shoes. The red flag sign that scream shoe replacement is needed primarily is pain. I have a high arch and when the arch falls in fitness shoes, my feet hurt. Another sign for fitness shoe replacement include worn-out shoe soles, and a noticeable decrease in traction while you are moving in class. When your feet are cushioned, your feet are happy. They maybe singing Pharrell's song, Happy. Smile. To my surprise Academy was open until 10 pm. The customer service desk managed by Rick was super helpful. He allowed me take my shoes that I ordered online back to their shoe section to see if I could find a match in black. Unfortunately, black was sold out. However, I decided to keep my fitness shoes because they were comfortable on my feet, on sale ("Hot Deal") and I did not pay tax on the shoes. Happy feet...Happy Delores!

I had to spell out everything because the representative couldn't even spell "William Cannon." I also had to repeat myself at least seven times because she wasn't listening. On top of that, there was a screaming child in the background throughout the call, which made it even more difficult to communicate. After being on the phone for about 45 minutes, all she could tell me was that I would receive an email if someone had contacted me about my receipt. She couldn't even look up the information while I was on the phone. Considering I had already spelled everything out multiple times, it felt like she either wasn't paying attention or simply wanted to get me off the phone because she couldn't spell anything I remained polite and patient the entire time, but the level of customer service was unacceptable. Customer service representatives should be able to listen carefully, communicate effectively, and accurately process basic information. Look most people who live and breathe golf love to go play the course be outside clear their head find your strengths and weaknesses on the course and make mental adjustments I don't know anybody who would go in on the regular to critique his golf swing on a simulated Booth with a glorified projector screen it just doesn't make much sense to me in a business aspect until I found out how much they were charging for each Booth it's $50 an hour for each booth and booths on second story or $75 an hour then there are little lockers to put your stuff kind of like lifetime fitness it's all very dark marble there's a VIP room at the top and a bar at the bottom and I'm like just so very confused when I went in there they have retail golf clothes and equipment for sale . I only saw employees there and they were nice . They all were dressed like they I could actually go play a round of golf dress shirt tucked in khakis. When I spoke with Rachel King about it, she was dismissive and simply repeated the policy over and over instead of addressing the issue or showing any willingness to work with me.
