This is a beach theme bar, with a ton of things going on. They had vendors, and one was selling Venus fly traps of all things. There's plenty of beer to be consumed. They have a nice taproom with seating, and plenty of seats and tables out on the "beach." This is a great place for a young adult date, not to mention a family spot. Dogs are welcome, and I saw a decent amount of kids running around. They didn't broadcast live sports during my visit. I did see people eating, but couldn't really tell where the food was coming from. I didn't want to venture around because I don't see well, and the grounds are composed of pea rocks. I did see rooftop seating, but I'm not sure what's up there. This place is next to a Sheetz gas station, and if worse comes to worse, you can literally walk there and buy food and no one would know your'e gone because it's so close. The parking here is bad. Real bad. There is an adjacent small strip small with parking, and a catering hall with a huge parking lot. I opted for the catering hall, but walking to this venue was tricky, because there isn't a sidewalk. This place has casual charm. I observed a small family playing Uno at their table, and their activity summed up what this place is about. A family friendly safe place to relax.

My colleague, mentor and friend's book launch and masterclass was debuted here and what an event it was!! This community center was the perfect venue to launch such a spectacular book. There is ample parking, spacious rooms, and a great location to host any event. Please checkout the book "I Forgive You" ... it can change your perspective on human interconnectedness and interpersonal relationships! If someone wronged you and is shutting you out as punishment, this is their internal traumas showing in physical form... if communication isn't an option just forgive them. "There is psychological and emotional freedom in forgiveness."

You should not expect your guests, who may be physically challenged, senior citizens, or guests who may be standing in high heels to stand around after the ceremony for 30 minutes or more. My Mom (in her 80s) needed to sit down and the staff would not allow her to go into the reception area, just to find a corner to sit on a chair and out of the way. Lastly, cleaning attendants/engineers should be cleaning the bathrooms frequently. Ensuring paper towels are stocked and ample toilet paper is sufficient. Cleaning the floors from time to time due to water spillage around the sink floor. Especially since you have to walk across the bathroom to dry your hands at a hand dryer. To be honest, this review should be a damn "1". No matter how nice it looks inside, I will never recommend this place for a wedding ceremony/reception. Obviously this review is coming from a guest. I'm happy the couple is married and that I came to witness their beautiful ceremony. That part will always be an amazing memory. We did our ceremony in the large grassy area in front of a big tree, cocktail hour on the back terrace, and dinner upstairs in the main room. With ten guest tables and our sweetheart table in the corner we had plenty of space for the DJ and a good size dance floor. We had a buffet and bar downstairs (this could be an issue for older guests to get down the stairs). Because it's a county park it is significantly more affordable than any other venue we considered. They recently did some renovations and the bathrooms are now very nice-bright, clean, spacious (unfortunately there are only 2 bathrooms, but I don't think this was an issue for the number of guests we had). We had a fantastic wedding here and have lots of beautiful pictures from the day. I highly recommend!
