One meal was enough to feed me all day, and the Spanish coffee I got was mixed perfectly. Seats are extremely limited, but the service was super fast so even with a full plate you get in and out comfortably in under an hour. Other reviews mention rude service staff, but my experience was the total opposite. I wish I could've gotten her name to give her a shout-out. :) I do have to mention the lack of parking. There were still empty tables when the parking lot was already completely full. There were maybe eight parking spots altogether, but that would be my only complaint.

IT IS A MUST.. and if you are ordering it to take home make sure you have a piece of it while it's still hot and fresh because that was to die for. I won't go more into detail about it you just have to try it. It will speak for its self. Overall the dinning experience was great! Servers were more than happy to get you whatever you need. We sat at the bar so y'all should try their drinks because they looked so good and the bartenders looked like they were having fun making them. The restaurant is a literal house and while charming it is small and packed inside and the parking lot is also really small so you may need to get there early or expect to park somewhere else in the streets. We got there an hour after they opened and it was only a 30 minute wait thankfully. Will be coming back again to try other menu items!

The au jus was something I've never seen. It was weak and broken and someone had out liquid smoke in it. Very unpleasant. The broccoli was actually cold to the touch. We told the waitress who was very apologetic and she offered to sub anything. So we both decided to try the masted potatoes instead. They were watery and not warm. Disgusting. I checked Yelp before we went and saw that it was 4 star so I was fairly confident it would be good. Not at all. This place is terrible. If you are expecting bang for you buck try Micky Ds instead.

This was one of Salem's Bluecollar highlites along with "Busics", "Joseys", and "Almost Home", these 4 were ALL mainstays and their outward appearance belies their culinary achievements which are STILL intact despite the Corvid Sybatical. It is wonderful seeing the re-awakening of the Salem "Breakfast/Lunch" scene. Now if "The Chateau" could come back with their Truck Driver worthy "Corned Beef Hash" we could claim the Earth BACK on it's axis, and we could gather in a Denny's parking lot and synchronize a mass John Belushi salute.... We had gone to all the other 4-5 star breakfast places in Salem, and decided we wanted to try something new. So I got onto Yelp and found White's. First impression before ordering the restaurant needs a good cleaning. Thick layer of dirt and dust when you walk in, carpets needs washing, and the blinds were dirty. I got Don's big mess with 2 eggs, the hubby got the Amazing Omelette and my mom got the crunchy French toast. The portions were HUGE, the total for us was $50. The French toast was really dry. I wouldn't recommend it. The omelette was okay, the cheese tasted a little off to me, and Don's mess was good. For the money I would rather go to Sassy Onion or Word of Mouth. Good food for a good price, love the #12. The portions are awesome. Wish the place was a little bigger so we wouldn't have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. I've been here a few times, love the atmosphere and old diner appeal. The french toast is also pretty killer and my eggs are always cooked perfect! Eggs anywhere else are just disappointing.
