1 Biscuit, Gravy and Hash Browns
    Joseph M.

This was an odd food for me. First, the place is 1950's kitschy fabulousness, it's worth a visit just to see the inside. I had hash-browns and one biscuit and gravy. I've never seen a dish like this without eggs and a side meat, but nope this is the food. Biscuit was delicious and the gravy was well cooked, but this was what bland looks like in the dictionary. The hash browns were under seasoned and under cooked, as was the gravy. So if you need really bland food, this is the meal to order, but the next time I go in I'm getting something with more flavor. Service was nice, sparse, but nice .

This place is a hidden Gem! Never been here before. The food was super flavorful! Hashbrowns were perfectly cooked as well as eggs!! Pancakes were delicious and honestly the sausage links here are the best! I usually avoid ordering links for breakfast. The ones here are very flavorful. Everything came out hot from the grill. Doesn't seem like anything sat under a heat lamp. The service here from the staff is great! I think this will be my new favorite place to eat on the weekends for Breakfast!

Great food for a great price, speedy service, and to my suprise there was only one cook in the back and one server! And the waitress was still attentive and caring. Lots of pictures of Elvis on the walls, cute themed cafe

A total dive. If you like divey food and interiors then this place is for you. Quick in and out food and service. I got a cheese omelet and it was basic but very good. Don't expect anything in here to change your life and bring you back unless you live around the corner.

Delicious food with a great variety of options to choose from. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food received. I will definitely be visiting this place again!

Today is my birthday and I was in the mood for a breakfast when it was officially lunch, and this place popped up in my head. I've passed it up a thousand times on the road and today was the day I finally gave it a try. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was delicious!!! My family also ordered fish and chips, and a double cheeseburger. The portions were bigger then expected and the food was fantastic! My only regret is that I waited to long to eat here! I've been missing out for quite a few years, but not anymore!

Fast, efficient service. The strawberry shake was thick but not too thick for a straw. Very delicious. I also had the chicken wrap which was very good. Crinkle cut fries made it a great meal. Prices are just about right for that type of food. Very happy and I do plan to return.

Their ciders are great, I tried the Viking Cherry Cider and loved it so much I bought a six pack to take home, at $18 for 6 it was still absolutely well worth it. For food my coworker got the Fish and Chips, deep fried in beef tallow for those who avoid seed oils, and said it was excellent. I had a caesar salad and fries to go with my cider and it was a lovely meal. This will absolutely be one of our go-to spots when in Salem from now on.

We shared a juicy hazy IPA and an order of scotch eggs while sitting on the patio, which is shaded and comfortable with both picnic tables and bar-top seating. I was thrilled to find that the scotch eggs were not only delicious but also authentically prepared. The yolk was soft and slightly runny, and the crust was perfectly crisp and flavorful. This establishment is a true hidden gem. While the food prices are a little steep, the quality definitely makes it worthwhile. We will be back!

I also had warm rye bread. Not toasted. We were half done with our breakfast, and was given the bill, and boxes to go. Very rushed, crowded, and expensive. $58 for sub-par breakfast for 2. Sorry WOM, didn't cut it.

Turns out they're right next door, tucked back a bit from the roadway so easy to miss you and when you're sober. Glad I noticed it as we were driving off, as it's a great taphouse with a large number of beers on draft, in excess of 20 I believe. Service is very gracious, and you don't have to commit to official tasters, they're willing to pour you a little splash of several beers for you to figure out what it is you'd actually like to taste. That said, we opted to do an official flight of four IPAs, one of which was a hazy. All pretty interesting; ended up ordering a pint of one of them to share. Like a lot of tap rooms, they use the app DigitalPour to list their beers so you can check them out online if you like. We'll probably be back again. We didn't order any food while we were there, but what we smelled, and looked at appeared to be pretty good. If we hadn't had such a large breakfast earlier at our hotel, we probably would've taken a flyer on something off their food menu; maybe next time.

I tried this at The Yard…read more It was....alright. Kind of expensive, but not overly bad for a food truck collective. I ordered an El Dorado, with barbecue sauce, onion rings, bacon, and cheese (tomato, lettuce, and onion are listed on the board. I declined lettuce and tomato but didn't receive any raw or grilled onions, just an onion ring. That was fine. However, the menu said onion rings and onions.) I chose the tater tots to go with it. I also ordered a side of mozzarella sticks. Not overly long to receive. The food was hot and clearly prepared fresh. However, I have a hard time not saying that literally everything I ate started off frozen. Consider the hockey puck, perfectly formed, crisp edged hamburger patty. Honestly, it didn't really taste like anything. Just...chew. Frankly, it made me think of frozen Bubba Burgers. Maybe the Angus one, to be fair, but it still didn't really taste like anything. Complete lack of seasoning, except maybe some sprinkled on, which is usually indicative of a frozen hamburger puck. The bacon and cheese were okay. Barbecue sauce was non-descript. Tots were...potatoes. Again, I felt like they came out of a generic food supplier bag. And the picture on the menu versus the actual mozzarella sticks? Yeah. Not the same. I recognized them from my drinking days the moment they came out. The exact same frozen mozzarella sticks that they serve at most bars. Big, thick, breading comes off the cheese pretty easily as they cool down, big hunk of solid cheese that starts off stretchy and turns into a solid block when cold. My 12 year old son and I didn't finish them, and both me and that kid love fried cheese. Look, it wasn't horrible. But I didn't finish it. And wasn't sad about it. And it cost an awful lot for that, all things considered. If you're at the Yard and just want basic American style diner food, go for it. You'll get what you ask for. But I don't see any reason to go there. Honestly, I have a better burger from Wendy's. :/
