I have been ordering from here for years. I'm not always in the area but I do order several times a month on DoorDash. Their bagels are always consistent; super fresh and tasty. My go to order is their sesame bagel toasted dark with scallion cream cheese. My drink order is their iced coffee which is strong and delicious. I usually order my son a bacon egg and cheese on a French toast bagel. His bagel is always packed with crispy bacon and a perfect ratio of egg. They have a couple of seats in the shop but a lot of people order to go. There is a park across the street that you can enjoy your breakfast at if it's nice out. read more

There's nothing fancy about this place. You walk in through the 149th Street side, line up, and when you get near the register, one of several upbeat workers will take your order. Then you wait a bit off to the side for it to be ready. A nice touch while you're in line: you can smell the flavored coffee beans on the rack near the entrance. The reason I don't give this place a higher rating is because it's hit or miss with how much regular cream cheese you get. When you order one of the specialty spreads, though, the portion is decent. Great neighborhood bagel spot. I ordered a BEC and each component was great. The bagel was slightly sweet and the bacon was crispy. The lady who took my order was very friendly and patient. I asked for a cold brew coffee, but it ended up being iced coffee from the Regular carafe plus an espresso shot added in. Haven't seen it done this way, but the result tasted great! Bagel and toppings are great but your prices are killing your customers. I bought a toasted Garlic Bagel with scallion cream cheese and a large coffee, $9.25. Thats not worth 9.25, I understand that there is a tariff going on but we don't import flower and cream cheese; coffee maybe, not but coffee isn't expensive, it's just flavored water. So it basically turns to the owner price gouging. How I know, I work in finance, we watch market prices all day so we know what the value of things are. You're losing your customers for greed. I have passed by this place many times but since it closes early I never had a chance to stop by. This place gets really busy. We were lucky to have come here and ordered before the line formed. The line was literary out the door. They have many choices of cream cheese spreads and bagels. They also have a good selection of pastries. I ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel, regular cream cheese on everything bagel, regular cream cheese on cinnamon raisin bagel and bacon egg and cheese on a roll. (Toasted bagel for all) I also ordered an iced chocolate brownie coffee. First off the food came out hot and smelled really good. We had our sandwiches after we got home so it cool. Since the bagel was toasted it started to get hard (but it was still okay). I think the everything bagel was too strong for the sausage egg and cheese. It tasted like burnt garlic. (Next time I would try it on a plain bagel) I had the cream cheese bagel much later and the bagel was more on the hard side. I think it would've been much better when we ate it fresh and hot. The coffee was no good. There was no brownie flavor in it. It just tasted like really water down coffee. Although my first experience was just mediocre I would like to come back and try their flavored cream cheese spread. read more

Sad to say many of my breakfast go to places are being pinched by higher cost from their suppliers. So my chocolate Raspberry coffee is no longer available and the hazelnut coffee taste awful. Things are so bad they even changed the equal artificial sweetener to a off brand that has an after taste. If this trend continues, I can't continue paying more and getting low quality food and supplies. Maybe the pandemic caused this or maybe it's the wage increase for staff but it doesn't work for me. Time to make my own flavored coffee and making my own breakfast at home. I love this place and I understand, but something has to give with these prices for less quality foods read more

So, I came back because the bagel place I wanted to go to was closed today. Huge mistake. Service is so bad. I stood by the counter for a good 5 minutes while the many staff members looked at me and said nothing. No one else was in there ordering. Finally, I had to ask if someone could take my order. Then, as I'm waiting, the line continues to grow and one person was taking orders. People in line started to complain. I get my sandwich after about 10 mins. I pay with cash and the lady who rang me up closed the register and walked away. I said, am I not getting my change? And she proceeds to tell me she needs to get change from the other register. Ok... well say that before you just walk away. I'm not a mind reader and you owe me money. I get home, 10 mins later. The sandwich is cold. I ordered an egg and cheese and the cheese was not melted at all. And it was loaded with pepper. For real, not going back. The staff need a course in customer service. The establishment was spacious and clean. It had a few small tables and chairs available for patrons. My cinnamon raisin bagel with cheese was served exactly as requested. I was in Queens for the night and needed something semi-quick to eat on Saturday morning, and thanks to Yelp I settled on giving the Whitestone Bagels Factory a try! I got here around 8:00AM and the place was pretty packed. When you walk in you see an array of muffins, bagels, cookies, and other sweets that are hard to resist. I decided to get a breakfast sandwich instead of a sweet and ended up ordering a bacon, egg, and cheese on a rainbow bagel (which literally means a colourful bagel). The sandwich didn't take too long to come out and when It did it was gone pretty fast as well. I was a big fan of both the bacon and the egg but something about the actual bagel just didn't do it for me, I think it was a pumpernickel (if this is even a thing). Overall, this is a cool place to grab a quick breakfast and although I would definitely order a different sandwich next time, it was still good enough to come back for more. While the bagel is great, the eggs aren't cooked to specifications, the cheese isn't melted, and they never cut the sandwich completely all the way, which leads to an awkward eating experience. And for almost $6, it's not worth it. I would recommend going to the Bowne Park Deli for an excellent breakfast sandwich, as it is only seven minutes away. read more

Also, they didn't toast my bagel even though that was the first thing I mentioned. Additionally, their iced coffee was meh... coffee tasted burnt. Not sure how non-locals or non-regulars order here as there was no clear menu in sight... This is located next to a large middle school, so I imagine it can get busy in the mornings and when school lets out. However, there is a decent amount of seating and the staff members were friendly enough. WE LOVE THIS PLACEEEEEEEEEE!!! First: their baked salmon bagel is unexplainable. Literally, I've dreamt about it since. Second: we went to Whitestone (1.5 hours away from our home) to visit my husbands childhood home. We stopped here for a bagel and we got there right as they were closing. They not only served us but also asked us to take our time eating and to enjoy. The manager, Nadya, came up to us and asked us to focus on enjoying rather than rushing. We ate our food and talked to her about how incredible everythinggggg we ate was. She literally sent us home with a bag full of bagels for the freezer. Everyone here feels like family. The food here has so much heart. It is a place of comfort and so much love, and the food just makes it even better. Came here on a Wednesday morning (7/8) at 10:30am. We ordered THREE sandwiches. A bacon egg and cheese on a roll, a sausage egg and cheese on a roll and a BLT on a roll. We watched the lady write down our three orders on blue post its. As our order was being packed, I saw only two boxes so I told her we had ordered three sandwiches. My lord.
