Love it ! Ice coffee has coffee ice cubes ! Love the detail in the delicious coffee! Their bagels fresh and you can customize it however you want ! I got a bacon , egg and home fries on it. Delicious will be back ! Service amazing ! Love the minimalist look of the shop.

First things first, the bagel was very good. I very much enjoyed it. However, it is on the smaller side. That would be my only real complaint. But overall it eat very good. I ordered through Yelp a plain bagel 2 eggs fried with American cheese but I definitely received over-hard. Not that big of a deal. In just hate the yolk. Parking is non existent. I circled the block 5 times before I decided to just park about 1/4 mile away. That's so annoying to me being from NJ where there's always parking or a parking lot. I even went during off peak hours and it was a cluster f@&k. Anyways, definitely recommend and will be back.

Nice BEC on toasted flagel (flat bagel) . Quite an ample amount of bacon on the sandwich. Very clean inside and so many selections! There is a nice outdoor area too . Great parking !

Excellent service. First time here, certainly won't be my last. Customer service is very important - the staff and presumably owner welcomed me with huge smiles! Love the energy. The coffee? MADE WITH COFFE ICE-CUBES.... that are HEART SHAPED. You feel the love! It's the best iced coffee I've ever had. They overheard it was my birthday and treated me to a delicious homemade cookie! 5/5 across the board. Also have heard the bagels are great. Can't wait to return !!! (:

Owner was so nice. Was my first time in this bagel spot. He give many details about the menu.

Took another Yelper's advice. My new go-to Sammich. Thanks, fellow yelper.

Looks like the bagels got a tad smaller. They still bake the best cream cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions bagel sandwich though.

This breakfast was valid. It got me full as well. But the prices were too high for something small. And the wait for this was too long as well.

Bagel time is bombbb! The best lox and cream cheese ive ever had! They are always consistent and on time with my order. Knocked off a star because of their hours. They close at 5pm during the week. So if I want a salad after work for dinner i wouldnt be able to get it. Theyre also closed on Sundays. How is a BAGEL place closed on a Sunday? I would think that most of their business would be on weekend mornings. Also prices are INSANELY expensive. Overall their food , service and selection is always great!

Besides the amazing homemade sweet treats, muffins, bagels and coffee, their food items are delicious and consistent. I have to complement Jake for always making my sandwiches taste great. Their pastry treats are amazing and creative. Fast service and the staff are always friendly. Thank you Federico and Cynthia for your amazing establishment.

Amazing amazing spot. GET THE ICED COFFEE and whatever bagel you get you can't go wrong. Friendly staff. I wish they were open Sundays because the line at Whitestone Bagel Factory is just insane most days.

Drinks were good. Service was a little slow. Ambiance was quiet, nice seating areas, I think they have a outside area. I would definitely return.

I was really looking forward to trying this place. I was underwhelmed with the food and drink…read moreoptions and the service experience. There are some dedicated parking spaces that have a three hour limit if dining. Upon arrival, I entered the inside restaurant space for Dakota's on the Grove. It was aesthetically pleasing. I should have sat inside here instead of in their outdoor space which they call The Grove at Dakota's. I was able to choose where I wanted to sit, so I chose a table near this shed where the bartender/waiter was. I noticed they were setting up for the Knicks Game 3 final and there were two large TVs and a projection screen. I overheard the waiter state that the area would be packed for the game tonight. There was also good music playing throughout. They had a large connect four, which would be nice to play. They are family friendly and had high chairs for babies and toddlers. When sitting outside they state that they have to preauthorize your card. Now getting onto the food. I was seated and provided with two menus. I immediately asked for a happy hour menu and then I waited for about 15 minutes, until I followed up with another waiter who brought out the menu for me. For the happy hour menu before I received my food I initially thought the prices were good, but upon receiving my food it was evident that the prices are off in terms of the portion size of the food. I ordered a $5 slider. I thought it would be a decent size. It was incredibly small. For the $5 price they should give at minimum 2 sliders but ideally 3. This would incentivize people to buy more. The slider was the best thing I tasted while there and I would have liked more but I couldn't justify spending another $5 when it was so tiny. The tiny slider appeared to be the portion size for a toddler. I ordered calamari which was $9. I was initially disappointed that there was such a small amount. I was even more disappointed when I tasted them. They tasted very "fishy." They absolutely needed a squeeze of lemon and fresh cracked black pepper to try and balance and mask the taste. I believe the portion size for the fries was also off for $5. The fries came in a teacup. Fries are something that people tend to order to have something to pick at while dining and it would make sense I think to provide more fries for the same price. I also could not justify getting another set of fries in a small teacup for $5. I did not like the taste of the fries. When the sparse calamari, tiny beef slider, and small teacup of fries came out, I realized I would not be full and ordered chicken wings from the happy hour menu. You have to get a minimum of 6. You cannot mix the flavors. They were out of the dockside fire sauce so I went with the garlic parm. These wings did not taste like garlic parm. The garlic parm seemed like an afterthought, which was just sprinkled on the wings at the very end. The chicken itself did not have much flavor. They did not mention providing any dipping sauce. I asked for blue cheese and I had to wait for about ten minutes and then remind another waiter that I was still waiting for my blue cheese. They were out of the mozzarella sticks. Moving onto the drinks. While I get being outside and maybe wanting to serve drinks in plastic to minimize glassware breaking, I did not enjoy being served Pinot Noir in a plastic cup or the white cranberry lemon drop in a plastic cup. Each time I was taken aback that they weren't offered in glassware. I got the $7 Pinot Noir from the happy hour menu. A regular glass of Pinot Noir is $9. I also ordered the white cranberry lemon drop which is priced at $12 and is not included on the happy hour menu. The drink came out in the same sized small plastic cup as the Pinot Noir. I think once again that glassware should be used. When ordering a lemon drop you tend to expect a chilled frosty glass with a sugar rim, and that was not what I received here. I think the sugar rim would have elevated the taste profile of the drink. All in all, I really liked the outdoor area. I would probably only return to get a canned beer in the outside section. I hope they start to carry some sour beer options. I do not see myself trying the food again, with the exception of a burger (since the burger was really good.) I did have an inquiry regarding the pre-authorization charge and the final charge that I saw on my credit card. I called and left a message and the restaurant got back to me quickly, which I really appreciated.

( https://www.instagram.com/p/DQF8Gzekcks/ ). It is a shame because, besides myself, I know a few people that aren't in the neighborhood that travel regularly to G&L. Also its surprising because every time I go the place is pretty packed and occasionally there is a wait. What's also a shame, for me, is that on my recent visit my friend ordered the Steamed Seafood in Lemongrass and this is perhaps the top, or one of the top dishes on the menu. The seafood flavors and balances the slightly spicy lemongrass broth making this a crave worthy bowl. I ordered something out of my wheelhouse - the Coconut Spicy Lemongrass Soup, which on online order menu states its a popular dish. I couldn't see why this dish is so popular because I find other items on the menu superior. They make a tasty pho (especially when paired with a marrow bone). Their sandwiches are well made - I enjoy the different fish ones. I think their Vietnamese coffee could use some work - it is blander than other versions I had tried. Don't be too sad and maybe feel a little optimistic because owner Petra Rickman has a great track record opening interesting, in demand restaurants (This one and Taco Azul have been longtime go-tos in Whitestone). Additionally G&L has a 2nd location with the same menu in Manhattan, which unfortunately for a Queens boy like myself is a bridge too far and a congestion pricing too high for me to make the trek.

I go to this place often as I love love love the decor and atmosphere…read more Loved the pork buns and beef pho! The portions were really good too! The service can be a bit inconsistent as sometimes they forget to refill my water but aside from that they are very nice.
