I also had a massage with Jamie- very professional, straight to the point, super relaxing! As for the atmosphere, SOOOO beautiful! I finally had a chance to try out Whittier Springs and booked their hydration facial--it was so good. Mia, the esthetician, was amazing. The treatment was exactly what my skin needed, and the shoulder massage was such a nice bonus. Super relaxing overall. It's also so close to home, which makes it even better. The whole place has a Palm Springs vibe (very fitting with the name), the decor is really cute, and the staff is great. Being in uptown makes it really convenient too. I'll definitely be back--if you haven't tried Whittier Springs yet, it's absolutely worth it. read more

I was celebrating my birthday and was looking for services last minute. Booked online they reached out to confirm a service add on I requested and informed me there were issues with the app and my requested aesthetician wasn't available, I was hesitant about the replacement because there was no bio listed. I chanced wanted a day of pampering. I was not disappointed, Mia greeted me had me fill out paperwork then brought me a glass of champagne, not expected especially because she didn't even know it was my birthday. To have that as my first impression immediately along with the cute atmosphere of the place had my day off to a great start. Mia had gentle hands walked me through each step in the treatment was professional and made me feel comfortable. I got the hydro facial and it was amazing will definitely be back. I booked an 80 minute full body massage and included a note requesting deep tissue with a focus on upper back, neck and shoulders. The website advertised "... 80-minute full body massage offers an extended, deeply restorative experience that allows for more focused and intentional work throughout the entire body. With additional time to address chronic tension, stress buildup, or problem areas, this session delivers a more thorough and immersive level of care. You're welcome to let us know if there are specific areas you'd like us to target, and we'll customize the massage accordingly--while still treating the full body for total balance and relaxation." Unfortunately, the experience and massage I got was not as advertised. My massage was at 9am so I arrived at 8:55am and the place was still closed. The masseuse got there soon after me so there was no welcome - just a rush to get things set up. I was disappointed that they were not set up for a proper massage. There was no massage table or head rest with an opening for the face so my alignment was off throughout the massage. Additionally, my masseuse did not know I requested deep tissue with a specific focus and didn't ask questions before treatment. My masseuse was sweet and did her best but I gave feedback a few times and we acknowledged that the pressure just wasn't the deep tissue or deep pressure experience I was looking for. I tried to enjoy what I could of the massage because it was meant to be a self care treatment after concluding my mom's funeral services earlier in the week. Now, I'm looking for another establishment to get a proper massage. If you are looking to target problem areas and prefer deep pressure for massages, this is not the place to go. I definitely left more frustrated than relaxed. read more
