    rib plate

Recommend this local BBQ spot. Stopped in and tried the rib combo plate. Ribs are seasoned well and have a good smoke ring. Side dishes were good. Bundt cake slice was a nice touch. Staff is friendly and ready to assist with any questions. There is more than BBQ on the menu, the wings are also popular. Service is not quick, so be patient, the food is worth it. Restaurant has run out of things which is alright to try different things. Parking is plentiful outside and plenty of room on the interior.

Excellent. The Mac n cheese, the Po Boy, green boys - it's all outstanding. It's literally like I'm at a cook out at home.

The best barbecue in Radcliff. You won't be disappointed. Flavors were good and the sides were really good.

Food was delicious and staff friendly. The place needs to be cleaned and organized but I think they just moved in to the new location.

Great food, and vibes. Mr. Brown was very welcoming, however i do not recommend the Mac and cheese.

It was so dang delicious that I can't wait for the next tournament to go back!! We had the crawfish dip, crab leg boil and shrimp boil. It was all so good but lemme tell you about these crab legs!!!! Insanely good! Better than the ones we get in Florida!! They were so well seasoned. The Royal Reds & fried shrimp were delicious. The sausage was perfectly cooked!! Those potatoes cut like butter. The crawfish dip was plentiful with crawfish tails!! Not a single complaint!! Prices are good. Bathrooms clean. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

I had the fried shrimp, and they clearly were NOT just frozen shrimp they'd bought somewhere and fried, these seemed homemade. . .definitely NOT typical mass-production shrimp. The food was pretty good. There's two things I would list as downsides, however. The first is that the wait for service was pretty long. It was quite a long wait from when I ordered until I got my food. That's a minor downside, given the quality. I got the picture they might not have a robust back-of-house staff. The second, and bigger downside is. . .I didn't go there expecting a seafood place! The well-worn sign out front still says "Deez Butts" BBQ, and I'd followed signs from the freeway exit thinking I was going to a barbecue joint. When I stepped inside, I pieced together as I was standing in line that the BBQ had closed and this was now a seafood place. It was good food, but I was expecting barbecue and was too hungry to bother hunting for another place to eat. I was left wondering if they couldn't afford to change the (well worn) sign out front. It just seemed a little odd that the sign out front is for a barbecue joint, but it's a seafood place inside.

If it's after 3 pm the restaurant is either closed or out of menu items. Took 15 minutes to get my food because the owner/operator had to tell me his life story and he talks with his hands. Tamales were over cooked. I can't say I'll never go back because the last three times I did, which was around 4:30 pm, the store was closed with a sign that says they ran out of food.

Would have easily given 5 stars had the tamales not been dried out and stuck to the husks…read more Unwrapping a tamale should be be as easy as lifting a corner and letting it slide out. Was not the case here. I want to believe that what we were served was an anomaly and not the norm. We each ordered a platter, so between us only one of the six tamales was more than 50% whole after taking them out of the husks. The others were dry and had a consistency range from saw dust to mulch. The taste was exactly what I hoped they would be. They were rich in flavor and had enough spice to fight back. I will go back, in hopes that these were not what is typically served. My advice if ordering the tamales is to ask to see them first. If they are dry you will see it. The gumbo was top shelf. Very hearty, deep, and complex. The mac and cheese was the last of his crock pot and was no better than mediocre. Others have reviewed it as very good. Hopefully another anomaly.
