The ambiance is pretty good with fine service and a great selection of food and drinks on the menu with country music playing in the background. I ordered a Dr. Pepper with Chicken Tenders, the Dr. Pepper was pretty good and the Chicken Tenders were meh

Food is always served up quickly and freshly prepared, served by friendly attentive staff. Burgers are big and a good price. Sweet tea is sweet. Steaks are good, but not inexpensive. Best little steakhouse in the area.

Fun friendly atmosphere. Near gas stations and The Lumber Jack Lodge, axe throwing. Accommodates large parties if 10 or more. Theres a bar, tables for four and high top tables. Restrooms are nice not handicapped friendly. The owner came around and spoke to the tables. The owner is 83 and says he enjoys what he does and talking to the patrons. His birthday is March 15, stop on by and say hello!

Very busy on a Tuesday night! Service was slow. Food was decent. Everything needed a deep clean. Wouldn't likely return.

Awesome customer service and great steaks only downside is not much of a bar menu for a road house. Rolls and cinnamon butter are legit!

Ambiance is always comfortable and friendly. We didn't eat but the people seated next to us at the bar ordered the Steakhouse Pappardelle Stroganoff with fettuccine and they said it was amazing. Ok. So we're back for dinner tonight. Our server, Travis, is friendly and attentive. Brought out rolls that tasted freshly made, a little sweet/salty that was very tasty. Entrees: the Stroganoff is delicious. Steak is tender, not overcooked, fettuccine tastes homemade and cooked Al dente; and the mushrooms and sauce are delicious! Perfect amount of garlic and creaminess. The Bourbon glazed pork chop was made to order-gluten, soy and dairy free per our request. It was thick and juicy. We have not been disappointed with this restaurant and can't wait for our next visit!

I really wish our server would've said hey it's only me and a bartender working. We were there for five hours a lot of people ordered ribeyes. They were so salty and overcooked. None of the guys ate any of it. We actually took it home for the dog.. The only thing I can say that was positive is the server really tried, but he should've communicated better. We would've picked somewhere else to go as we didn't have time for a five hour dinner. I wish I had something positive to say, but the food was atrocious after a hard day work we really hoped for a nice meal, but we just didn't get it here!

I had a salad and my family members had steak and shrimp that was in essence a reflection of the wholesome nature that steak and bourbon provides you with. We usually try to go to the one downtown but this time we went to the one on the east side for the sake of the reservation. The saxophone player was very talented. Which, made me leave him a cash tip as I love jazz. It is fair to say, that we had a phenomenal experience based on how well we were treated by our server who was a recent transplant from out of state and even the U.S. as she shared her story with us which was very much so moving and compelling. We always have a wonderful time at steak and bourbon together as a family. But, I personally will have to point out that my favorite part of the whole dinner is the live music and the wonderful ambiance that in a way, fosters excitement, and intimacy if the right person or people happen to join you during such a special environment.

We came for my partners bday dinner & we definitely want to go back & have already been recommending it to others!! For apps, I ordered lobster bisque & he ordered French onion soup & we both agreed the quality is the best we've had in Louisville, he even went as far to claim it's the best he's had in Louisville. So delicious!! We both weren't fans of the candle bread, sure it's intriguing & unique but it was too oily, bland, & salty to really enjoy. For entrees I had the NY strip which was made med rare exactly how I enjoy it along with their homemade steak sauce but be wary the charge $2 for it!!! My side was the shepherds pie & I was extremely full & couldn't finish anything the soups were filling!! My partner ordered ribeye and omg it was amazing, sooooo juicy & yummy full of flavors I wish I had gotten it, thankfully he shared. He ordered side of parm broccoli & they're very generous with the cheese that he even had to scrap some off. We had to order the complimentary multi layered dessert to go because we were toooooo full!! Everything was worth the money well spent & I paired mine with extra dirty martini & both my partner & I claim it's one of the best we've had! This place is def worth the hype & we should've gone here sooner!!! I want to check out their downtown location as well, but it's also nice to shop around the Westport area. Love love love!!

We came in with a larger group due to our bourbon tour and they were kind and accommodating. They had some specials for the summer and they left us the menu now as a vegetarian my options were a bit limited, but they had a few items on the appetizer list that were quite appealing. I also got an aperol spritz to celebrate end of summer, which was excellent. For my meal, I actually got the pretzel which came with their queso as well as their house mustard. Now I get the pretzel often depending on the location and I was so impressed with how tasty it was and how great the mustard was. I say that because a lot of places do not have tasty mustard when it comes to their pretzels. Queso was also very flavorful. The staff was very attentive for our large group and we had an excellent time. I can't wait to go back to this location when I'm not with a tour so we can explore it a bit more definitely worth a check out when you're in Bardstown, Kentucky.

We arrived at 7:50 PM for an 8 PM reservation. We got cocktails at the bar, a whiskey sour and a Cosmo. Truthfully, we were not really impressed with our drinks. We were then seated around 8:15 PM. I tend to be picky regarding reservation times and honoring them so I was displeased by the wait... to my surprise this restaurant walked away with a 5 star review regardless. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Provided good recommendations that I'm sure improved our overall experience. We ordered the old fashion to share, per our waitresses recommendation and it made up for the pre-dinner cocktails! Delicious! Our appetizers, the burrata and heirloom tomatoes & stracciatella, were a good start! Good flavor and light enough for the starter. However, the French onion gratinee stole the show. Presentation was beautiful and flavor was on point for a classic French onion soup. I ordered the belly-on pork tomahawk and was very pleased with the tenderness and flavor, especially when I asked it to be cooked more medium well. My husband got the 22oz dry aged ribeye, the repeal way with the crab on top. He requested it be cooked medium rare plus and that's exactly what he received. He expressed how amazing the steak was cooked and the flavor. We shared a side of whipped Yukon potatoes that weren't too hot to dig into! These were creamy/buttery and perfect side for our entrees. As you can imagine, we were too full to have dessert but took a piece of cheesecake to go and shared later. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed the cheesecake. The blueberry compote was a delicious addition but the plain cheesecake shines all on its own! If I'm ever back in Louisville. I will be back and I'm bringing my friends.
