I've been a business owner for 25 years, so I know that quality work plus great service equals a happy customer. Unfortunately, this place is missing the mark on service. The Issue: I have been here three times. On my last visit, I gave one very specific instruction: Do not cut the hair on my dog's head. I told the front desk and the groomer directly. The Result: They cut the hair anyway. When I picked up my dog, the groomer just said, "My bad." The Management: I called to speak to the owner, but was told they don't get involved in day-to-day operations. The manager I spoke with was dismissive. She told me the groomer thought it "looked nicer" and reminded me that "hair grows back." Bottom Line: As the paying customer, it is not the groomer's job to decide what looks best against my specific instructions. The work is good, but they don't listen. I will not be staying with them, but they need to respect the owner's directions. The way to handle this case was to say I hear what you are saying. In the future, this will never happen again, and for your next service, we will give you 50 percent off. Dog owners beware! See bloody pics... they cut my dog all over the place. This is just her ears! This place was extremely unprofessional. They did not follow our request on how we wanted our dog's hair cut because the groomer "didn't think it would look good". So they shaved her bald from head to toe. They quoted us 3-4 hours for the cut and then charged $30 for a holding fee, even though we picked her up 3.5 hours after dropping her off. They also cut the hair on our dog's head (even though we asked them not to) and charged a $15 fee because she was difficult while they were trying to cut her face. They only cleaned out one ear and didn't do the nail trim, which was part of our selected package. There are much better groomers in the area - I'd recommend you find one. read more

This place is an absolute joke. The salon manager is beyond rude and degrading. Had a problem with one of my grooms because the groomer did not even bathe my dog or trim her. As soon as I realize it I told him I was not happy. This was not acceptable. I paid $90 and I would like it fixed. She tried to tell me it was my fault for not giving them pictures of how I wanted it and I did send pictures and have proof. She started yelling at me was very disrespectful. Finally agreed after talking to the owner to give me a re-groom. DAKOTA/KOTA did my regroom. Wow what a nightmare that was. If you can even get a whole conversation with her because she appears to be on drugs and talks in circles SHE WAS TERRIBLE!! I decided to give the salon and this Groomer one more chance. I completely communicated with her that I was unable to keep my appointment and then I get the runaround from them saying there was a scheduling issue on my half so they would not groom my dog. Yet I notified them I was stuck at work. This place is an absolute nightmare and a joke they go through groomers left and right and the management is rude and disrespectful. My husband took our dog here for a summer trim. We wanted him trimmed pretty low around his face, ears, feet and tail (he's a shih tzu). I was shocked to see our dog return home looking pretty much the same way he left. Didn't look like they touched his tail and barely trimmed anything else; slapped a bandana on him and sent him on his way. All for a whopping $70! I could have done what they did. Most other places are booked out for weeks- I can see why we were able to make a same day appointment here. What a waste! read more

`There is a new groomer in Surprise and I can't complement them enough. I brought my rescue dog in for her first ever professional groom. They offer 4 different levels of grooming from basic to deluxe. The whole groom and signature offer a 7 point wellness check in addition to the regular grooming services. Her groomer, Gabriel, listened to everything I wanted and she was returned just as I requested. The location is convenient and the shop was very clean and inviting. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Disappointing in all honesty. I have gone to this place three times. Previously just for a face and nail trim. Charged roughly $40. So I went again thinking the same thing. When I came in they asked if we were there for a bath and I said no. I had booked on the phone with them a few days prior for the face and nail trim. Then they told me he wouldn't be ready for 3-4 hours.... I thoroughly explained we just wanted the face and nails trim and questioned the 3-4 hours and they said because you never know if a dog is having a bad day... ok I get that. So I told them alright I'm leaving for the gym then. Well guess what an hour later he was ready and they bathed him even though I said NO BATH. He still has knots on him and he's damp and since he wasn't all the way blown out there is hair just flying off him. $73 dollars. I asked about the price and they stated a bath has to be done with a trim. NOT EVEN!! How are you going to do a trim previously with no bath and not now?!? I'm sorry I didn't have $100 to just throw down. Not so much as a discount or like hey for next time we can throw in something for the miscommunication. So at this point I'm on the hunt again for another groomer. read more

Decided to give this place another try. The first time we brought our Goldendoodle in for a trim we were shocked when she came out because her tail had been shaved off and the rest of her body was also shaved with no attention to detailing her ears or mouth. When we brought our Shih Tzu's in it was an even worst experience, they were shaved down including their faces. They cut ears unevenly made one of them look totally lop sided. For this price point of $75 for a small dog you would expect an even cut not just shaving all around and completely shaving off a goldendoodles tail (she was 120$) We will not be back. read more

I have used this place in the past and was happy. I only found a groomer closer to my house but needed someone to give my fur baby a bath and brush before I left town for 2 weeks. To start with. Communication with this place is a joke! Too many people trying to do 1 persons job. Dropped off my fur baby for his bath and brush and then went to an appt I had. After 1.5 hrs I called before heading home to see how long he would be. If not too long I could entertain myself. During my phone call, they didn't put me on mute took the phone to the grooming area and started yelling "who the f€¥k is Brady?" Cussing all sorts, making fun of my dog once they figured out who he was! One man yelled "I told them 3-4 hrs it would take" no one told me that and why so long for a bath and brush? Any ways after the unprofessional way they handled the phone and spoke about my fur baby, how do I know how they will treat him while in their care? I've had a hard time finding a place to groom my little dog. Until I found this place. The staff is awesome and always makes my fur baby feel comfortable. I can tell a difference when I pick her up she is happy and not stressed at all. The owners are doing a great job with choosing the staff they hire.
