The first impression is that the store has a lot of merchandise to the point of appearing cluttered, but upon closer inspection, the items are well maintained and placed in an orderly way. I was greeted warmly right away from the owner from behind the register. Mimi's is one of those stores that you can get lost in finding treasures or trinkets like book, boots, furs. The owner approached in a pleasing way to see if I needed assistance. All the items are clearly marked with a price tag and to my many seemed a bit overpriced, but all were in good condition with no odors, stains or rips. The furniture portion of the store is not nearly as crowded and is arranged in living area bunches. All the items are of very good to excellent quality. The lighting is good throughout the store and sales staff are not pushy. Jane made polite inquiries and asked if another customer would like to join the guestbook for future specials. The entire 30 minutes I spent in Mimi's was great, the music not too Ioud. I would highly recommend this store.x and it was clear Mimi has a lot of repeat customers as inventory is often changing. Besides the prices, I think Mimi is taking good care of customers, merchandising and signage.

There is one kid that's that's there that he is so snobby it's insane. Never had good advise. Go next door to West Laramie Fly Shop. It's in the gas station next door and ask for Mason and Luke they will put you on fish and flys are $1-2. All the gear is half the price and they are welcoming as they come. I've been wanting binoculars, and came across one made by Vortex, which is a company I favor for sights. It's a fantastic brand with a lifetime warranty! I was able to pick up some 38 specials much cheaper than in my home state, and without the stupid background check fee and additional 11% firearm tax. I loved that I could go up and down the aisles and pick out what I wanted myself. I was hoping to find some CCI for my picky Walther, but came up short. No worries as I have another week and a half to collect ammo. The clerk helping me was super friendly! I am not sure I am ever coming back as I am currently on the cross-country trip of my lifetime, but I will definitely look for the chain along my route. Pros: - friendly - well-stocked - clean restrooms Cons: - much smaller than the Utah location - parking is tight at this location (we are in a huge RV) - firearms are still to your states' red tape (it's silly when a Constitutional RIGHT is trumped by state laws instead of governed by federal)
