Today I tried something new at Why Not: breakfast! We came early right at opening time to see what they had to offer. Most of the time, we order online and use the drive up window to pick up meals, so this is the first time in a while we've been inside. At first I was disappointed to see QR Codes on the table for menus but we were promptly brought real menus (which I prefer). I was surprised to see it seems the menu has expanded quite a bit, not only with breakfast but also things like burgers and pasta dishes. We had the rotisserie chicken omelette and a breakfast burrito. Sides were hash browns and the home fries. The omelette and burrito were both reasonably good, not the best I've had but certainly still good. The potato sides were both great. Food came fast and hot, and service was attentive. I still prefer Why Not for dinners over breakfast and this won't become by new go-to in the morning, but it's a good option and I'm glad to see them expanding the business. read more

First time trying this place as I honestly didn't know it existed despite being so close to me! Thankful my sister found it though! We went about 1:30 so it wasn't very busy. We were greeted with smiling staff who asked if it were our first time here. (Guess us looking around in wonder while I snapped photos was a dead giveaway ) They offered samples of the broccoli cheddar casserole. Delicious! My sister got some with her meal. I had the Why Not Chicken wrap which has fried chicken, bacon, cheddar, and some other not-as-important stuff that all tasted scrumptious together! They made this fresh so it took a few minutes (info for those that may be in a rush) but hot and freshly made was fantastic! They have steak fries which were cooked just right. Despite the friendly young man telling me they had the "good good" ranch, they in fact do not. (If you know, you know!) But the ranch was good (enough) regardless. The restaurant is very clean, has a nice open feel to the layout and also has a small space to the side if more private dining is needed. The staff were all great! Super friendly and helpful. Decided to try "Why not chicken?". I appreciate all the options they have on their menu from Spaghetti to Rotisserie chicken plates. They also offer a variety of sandwiches and sides. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is open concept and clean. I really enjoyed the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes. The green beans however were bland. My dad mentioned that his corn was bland as well. My children's chicken tenders were hand breaded and had good flavor. I would definitely return, but maybe choose some different sides. read more

Heard about this place from a colleague and thought we'd try it. The previous reviews were very helpful. I had the 1/4 white with broccoli and buffalo chicken soup. The chicken was very moist and flavorful. The buffalo chicken soup was really good! The broccoli had a funky taste to it. I will not get the broccoli again. My husband got the 1/4 dark with the buffalo chicken soup and mashed potatoes. He loved the soup as well but would have preferred it a little spicier. The mashed potatoes were really good. They were real potatoes not instant. It was a nice surprise. We will definitely go back. Oh and they do catering! read more

THE CHICKEN IS WORTH THE DRIVE!! I learned about "WHY NOT CHICKEN" from a family member and thought I would give it a try. Tonight was my first time visiting the establish so I was not sure what to expect. The staff members were friendly but the service was little slow I felt, despite the dining area being quite empty for a Friday night (see image). I highly recommend the rotisserie chicken! Quite surprised/ impressed by the flavor, as well as juiciness of the meat. I sampled 3 of the veggie offerings --- the mashed potatoes where lumpy with small bits of potato skins, (not instant) and the Mac & Cheese was creamy good. I will be honest- not a fan of the green beans tonight, not cooked enough for my liking, "waxy" to chew. Sandwiches and wraps available for lighter , smaller portion meals as well. Had to stop in and try the Why Not Chicken Salad and it was delicious! A friend had the pulled chicken sandwich and commented the smaller portion of fries vs. previous visit. My first stop and the chicken was very good, moist and tender, not a ton of flavor unfortunately as most chicken. But I'd order it again. The mashed potatoes were homemade and very tasty, I would have like a bit of gravy for more flavor but they were good. The pintos definitely needed more flavor, they were tender and soupy but lacking a "wow" factor. I will go back and try some more of the selections for sure. I drove past this restaurant for the most of the past year since they opened, always promising to try them. Today I finally stopped and was happy I did. They had a special rib dinner and spaghetti meal. Passed on the spaghetti but tried the ribs even though they looked kind of bland and gray. Looks were deceiving, the ribs were perfectly seasoned, allowing the taste of the pork to shine while boosting the flavor with perfect but nearly invisible sauce. As good as the rib dinner was the whole chicken was even better. If you love rotisserie chicken with just the perfect amount of spice they got it here. They are still working out the kinks. However, food was good. Fries need more seasoning, and wraps need more chicken. Service was awesome. I think they need waitress/waiters because you have to wait at the register to get a refill on tea. A busy Sunday, you may have to wait a while. There is plenty of seating for both booths and tables. They also have room for large groups. Bathroom doors slam when closing and can be bothersome when sitting near them. Again. I asked a question today bout the last order we did where we ordered Half rotisserie chicken and asked to DEFINE what is half, and of course she said half a chicken but that is NOT what we got, we only got 2 legs and that was it, We did get Oh sorry bout that, And I explained that hurts business and i doubt we will order it again, Then I got home and checked out the food we got today which totaled a little over $50, 1 order of Venecian Spaghetti, 2 orders of oven Spaghetti, and 1 plain cheese burger combo.
