The cookies and cream cupcakes for my daughter's classroom were ENORMOUS!! They were rich, creamy, ADORABLE...and a total HIT!!! The birthday cake order filled for her big day was beautifully decorated and, "TO DIE FOR" delicious! The one thing you can totally tell is that everything in this bakery is made fresh and from scratch. One thing you notice the second you see the product, is the incredible attention to detail the owner/baker/creative decorator puts into everything she does. Have had many cupcakes from around the area and the Boston cupcake specialists (Sweet, Kickass, etc.). Wicked cupcakes is as good as you will get, plus these are full sized cupcakes, not little two-bite cakes. The use of butter instead of oil produces a great flavor and mouth-feel to the frosting that is rich, but not heavy. The staff is very attentive, if I ever had a bad cupcake here, i would not hesitate to let them know - but haven't had one yet in over 20 trips. My 9 year old now insists on a 'mostess' cupcake every week on our errand runs. I like the Rooney or the sweet vanilla. My daughter is partial to the Red Velvet. One shortcoming - they have limited beverage options, so hit Dunkins' up the street for coffee before or after. read more

Wicked Cupcakes in Carver has the best tasting and looking pastries and desserts. I have taken many of Wicked's cupcakes and desserts to work and family events. Her homemade designs and artwork are so unique; I have even given them as Christmas gifts! Everybody has always returned to say how absolutely delicious their dessert was, and this was the best cupcake or pie they have ever tasted/seen. Wendy Pioppi has sacrificed mass production to create home baked desserts and meticulously decorated works of art. Her shop is tastefully decorated with class and sophistication. I found out about Wicked cupcakes a couple of weeks ago. My daughter and I went in to see what they had. They can make anything!!!! I am a cake boss freak and wanted my husband to take me down to New Jersey to try Carlo's bakery's famous cannoli. He was so happy when I brought home a box of chocolate chip, chocolate dipped cannoli's and said they are the best EVER!!! The cupcakes are awesome.. put them in the microwave for about 10 seconds and cut them up and eat. YUMMMM. You definitely have to try everything at least once to find what you love. I am hooked. I can't wait to see what kind of birthday cake we can create for my daughter. read more

Driving by this place every day is bad for my diet!! :) I have to disagree with the poor reviews here. I think the owner has perfected her recipes over time because I do admit that the first cupcake I had here when she first opened was so-so. However, I've visited 4 or 5 times in the last year or so and the cupcakes and cannolis are delicious! The frosting is so good I could eat it straight... and the cakes are light and flaky. I love the flavors too. I've had mostess, carrot cake, strawberry, traditional chocolate, red velvet, and I'm sure a couple others that I'm forgetting. I was so glad to see a bakery come to Carver it's the best thing that could have happened Wicked cupcakes Are Wicked Good !!! I LOVE THEM !!! Love everything I have has there the bread is so fresh and delicious. The Baked goods cupcakes , Cream Puffs, Eclairs Wow the filling is Sooooooo Amazing. I will tell you it's just like Grandma use to make from scratch which is what I grew up on. You have got to go and try them you won't be sorry that's for sure. Amazing!! My mother is obsessed with cupcakes and pastries and she tries every bakery she can find so we drove 45 mins just to try these cupcakes and it was WELL worth it!! They are the best cupcakes we have ever tried! The creme puffs are to die for and so is the giant cookie bar!! The smell when you walk in the door is out of this world. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Lets just say I will be making regular trips to Carver for their great service and even better baked goods. read more

Top notch!! Baked from scratch, always fresh; superb cupcakes, cakes, eclairs, cream puffs, you name it! Friendly staff and super owner (Wendy). We hired her to provide the dessert for my daughter's wedding and there WAS NOT A CRUMB left from the cake or cupcakes at the end of the evening. The best cupcakes around! I'm so happy to have discovered this place. The cupcakes are nicely sized. I tried vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. The vanilla had a wonderful, pure vanilla flavor and the chocolate was deep and rich, and not overly sweet. I appreciate that they use all natural ingredients. The place is cute and the staff very pleasant. My only complaint is that the hours are kind of irregular, and I forget that they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. read more

I've had the products from this bakery and everything tastes amazing. I haven't tasted one thing that I didn't like. I tried the coconut cupcake she makes and it was amazing, and I don't even like coconut. Not to mention the thing I actually like. I abs. love wicked cupcakes! I've never had anything like it. Most bakeries these days use mixes and whip cream frostings but here its real cakes from scratch, buttercream frostings and old school vanilla cream fillings.
