I ate at their previous location next to Dunkin Donuts about a year ago. It wasn't great and it was expensive. Since then Wicked Wings has moved over to the Market Place Center off of Susie Wilson Road and taken over the space formerly occupied by Uncle Pop Pop's Tapas Restaurant. Since my less than stellar review owner Collin had reached out to me via Face Book to come back and try Wicked Wings again and give them a shot at a second review. He offered a free make good meal as an enticement. I went back today and was unpleasantly surprised. First getting in the front door was an effort. I work out and it took me three good tugs on the handle of the front door to get it open. I don't know how older customers or less muscled diners could gain entry to the place. The next thing I noticed was a lack of diners. For being the only food in a shopping center full of businesses you'd thing the employees of those businesses would patronizing Wicked Wings. Instead the dining room was completely empty. It was the middle of the lunch hour, 12:45 PM, and people that work in the Market Place Shopping Center must have been going out to someplace else for their lunch. Then I looked at the menu. Everything was pretty pricey. I was there and decided to go for the California Chicken Sandwich as this was my previous lunch choice and I wanted to make an even comparison to my last reviewed meal here. The sandwich with a side, in this case fries, was $13.00. As like a lot of other people I minimize my consumption of soda and choose to drink water for health reasons. So imagine my surprise when I asked the young lady who was working the front of the house for just a glass of water with my lunch and she said I had to buy a bottle of water for a $1.75. All of a sudden it hit me why employees of the shopping center weren't there frequenting Wicked Wings for lunch. At a minimum, with tax and tip it would kill a $20.00 bill to eat there. I can't comment of the quality of the food there as I choose to walk and not spend a $20.00 bill for a Tuesday lunch. It appears that Collin needs to work harder to find his niche to make a go out of Wicked Wings. In his case it would be attracting well muscled and well moneyed patrons to Wicked Wings. read more

We live right around the corner and after our neighbor telling us a few times about how good the food was it was time to place an order. We have a toddler so we stuck with toddler friendly wing sauces, mild and honey BBQ. Wings are amazing. Mild was a bit too mild, not much flavor but the texture and overall wing is excellent. Honey BBQ was great and not too sticky. We ordered sweet potato fries and they seamed burnt and the mustard sauce wasn't too awesome. I'd give them a 5 for my honey bbq wings if the price wasn't so high. Overall, great and we'll go back. read more

I order from here all the time off of DoorDash and it is so inconsistent. I work at a wing joint and when people ask me what wings do you love? I usually used to say we can wings there. California. Hot is the best but lately especially what I've noticed on Mondays is they come to me pretty much burnt to a crisp. I don't even ask for them crispy the sauce is non-relevant and I don't really understand why it comes different to me every time. I have also called multiple times and asked to speak to a manager owner and have been told that there isn't one and then I have been told one time that they would give my name and number two one and still haven't been called or contacted. I don't really understand what's going on. I really miss the really good wings that I had which were really juicy and good and had the right flavor and everything. I have also contacted DoorDash and they would not refund me so I've lost a lot of money. Hoping to find the good wings that I used to have. I'm very disappointed. One other thing is that I've called and mentioned at least five times is that the menu does not include the quesadillas or the wraps or anything that it used to and they said that they would fix that problem and have not. Not really sure if I'm being lied to misleaded or what's going on but I just want the truth. And pretty much my money back for as much money as I've spent there. read more

Amazing staff and the owner is right there with them slinging and making your food discovered a little issue one time before I left the owner corrected it and gave me a shake while it was being fixed. I have been to a few different locations on multiple occasions, mostly Essex. They are consistent and have very tasty wings, some of VT's finest! Good menu variety and nice amount of choices. The price however, is a deal breaker for me. At almost $1 a wing they are getting a bit greedy. Yes the wings are great but not at that price and they are not that big. If they had a discount wing night for dine-in only or whatever, I'd give them another shot. We have moved our weekly wing night elsewhere due to their high prices. read more

We went here while in VT for the weekend. It was 45 min from where we stayed and worth every minute of travel time! My husband and I were greeted by a very friendly gentleman (we assume he was the owner) . The food is so reasonably priced and we left completely satisfied. Always has amazing service. My first visit there wasn't the best the kitchen lost my ticket but the server got my food out immediately after she realize that my ticket was missing she notified us immediately apologized to us and then even gave us a free appetizer and didn't have us pay for our drinks the next time we went in, which was actually just yesterday on Mother's Day and my kids were very disruptive and kind of obnoxious and nobody complained nobody gave us dirty looks over the kids crying, they continued to make us feel very welcome and we even kept taking the children outside to get their energy out a little bit and I didn't feel out of place or embarrassed while being there the wings there are absolutely amazing I'm honestly I feel like I'm addicted to these wings!!! read more

Our first, spur-of-the-moment visit was pleasantly above expectations! They have a decent bar with several local beers on tap (IPA-heavy) and several bottled options, plus hard liquor and cider. Small, cozy, friendly, obviously a haunt for regulars. I was so happy to see a healthy grilled chicken option on the menu. Husband had a nicely cooked burger with excellent horseradishy cole slaw. It's not just a takeout wing place. The bartender and proprietor made us feel like old friends. Prices may seem high for what you get, but I feel quality is worth paying for; plus, serving sizes were quite ample. I have never been treated so rudely as a customer by an employee. Placed an order for pick up pulled up gave our name the guy took my card which had our name on it, inside charged us, bought our order out, I even gave him a tip, got home wasn't our order, so we called them (took 8 attempts to reach them as all we kept getting was an answering machine). Dude was so rude said yes come pay for your order and pick up your wings. I tried to respond and he started screaming and cussing at me and my husband, saying I gave him the wrong name. The maple garlic sauce is the best wing sauce I've ever had. Bone in and boneless wings are great. Ordered delivery and every thing was still crispy and had plenty of sauce. I've eaten here before and the wings aren't bad. However, the prices are high. I wanted a dozen boneless wings, with two flavors. The owner told me I could only do this by ordering two separate half dozens, which is about 4 dollars more. What self respecting wing place won't do two flavors on their large sized order? We stopped in tonight to have their famous Wicked Wings, dry rub and grilled wings that are to die for! The beer was cold, the bartender/waitress was just lovely, very attentive and very sweet! It's good! Their bone-in wings are definitely the way to go, as the boneless are tasty but really thin and unsubstantial. Their signature "Wicked Wings" are definitely worth a try and are very unique and not very hot (which was my assumption and fear). One of the biggest reasons I'll be back is they have shakes! This is really a take-out wing place. I have to say the fried pickles were pretty fab. Hot wings (definitely HOT) were middle of the road as was the quesadilla. I really enjoy buffalo style chicken wings and this establishment is my favorite in the Burlington area. Excellent sauce, delicious tasting chicken. 5 stars for sure. Worth the price. If there was a minus, I would use it. Treated poorly. We ordered take out and went to pick it up. We realized there was a bar there. So we thought, oh let's have a quick drink! We discovered quickly that we aren't allowed to eat our take out, as they have already packed it up to go! So we could order a drink, but not open the bag and eat the wings. Really? Seems pretty petty. We left. Sent an e-mail to the owner or manager and got even more rude remarks back. Hard to believe a business owner was talking to me in a manner that was quite disturbing. And I quote "your lack of planning is not our issue. I would assume folks in their 50's would have a little more forethought than you appear to be working with....and goes on to say...we have rules (rules, really? don't open the take out bag!!!...it's against the "rules")...."if you don't want to comply you can leave...and the last comment..."we are sorry we did not coddle your fragile egos." This was all due to the fact that we ordered take out, went to get it, realized there was a bar and decided to have a quick glass of wine, felt like we were committing a crime when we started opening the take out bag, really thinking this must be a joke when we were informed we couldn't eat our take out there. And as for the food, the wings are small and not good. Even if they were excellent, the way we were treated...we will never return, and as the owner replied "we have to nip mannerless behavior in the bud." Really? Mannerless behavior for NOT KNOWING it was against THEIR rules to change your mind and eat in and enjoy a beer at the same time. I think someone needs to go to "customer service" classes. Ordered take out because that was 25-30 unlike delivery 1.5 hours. Got there right at 30 min waited for 10 more while they " bagged it". Was told at check out the tenders weren't correct we would have to add our own sauce. Not stellar but ok. Got home not only were the not sauced but barely cooked so those were thrash. And they forgot an appetizer we ordered. Called and was told they let us know about the tenders and never charged us for it so no issue. REALLY!! The food here is great. Dining in is awful at the new location. Only 3 tables and bar seating in the front and one large table in the back. The table we where at was close to a closet and a cooler with sodas in it. It was extremely cold in there and every time the door opened it got even colder. Asked for a diet soda and wait person went to the soda cooler and got two bottles and put them on the table. This place is geared more toward take out.
