Yikes I LOVED the General Tso and fries but I have not been here in a long time. The fries are now forgettable Orieda type crap and they cheap out at every aspect at this experience but the price is also out of control. 4 sandwiches with 3 sets fries was $72. I would give a 4 because they offer Dirty Sodas - something I've only had in Salt Lake City But 2.5 for my picnic chicken sandwich We needed a quick food break off the highway and this helped. To start with, the menu on the wall behind the counter doesn't match the touchscreen where one places an order, resulting in everyone in my party not getting what they expected. With two hungry and picky children, that was a bad experience. Staff were rude and waited on someone as I stood there for five minutes waiting to ask a question. Completely ignored me-- I've been both owner and manager of similar establishments and my employees were always trained to at least acknowledge anyone waiting before proceeding to the next customer. Even after pointing out mistakes made with three of our orders, staff were quick to hurry away from our table and not come back. No solution was offered, they simply said "oh well" and dashed away. Hands down the absolute worst, most overpriced burger I've ever had in my life. Which was a sad surprise because I expected much more from a restaurant that's part of Burlington's deservedly acclaimed Farmhouse family of eateries. I ordered the Southbound. It was bone dry and utterly flavorless. Think particleboard on a bun. But less appetizing. The "crispy" onions had the gone soggy and possessed the consistency off overly chewy gristle (I kept picking them out of my teeth thinking they were bits of bad meat until I finally figured it out), and the "coleslaw" was indistinguishable from the iceberg lettuce. It was terrible. The only mercy was that the sad little patty itself was tiny and miserly so the experience didn't last very long. Despite a menu board clearly indicating that all burgers came with fries (like all burgers everywhere), mine did not because, the server said, you had to ask for them and I hadn't. (I should also point out that neither had the server offered this apparent optional add-on during ordering) When I DID order the fries after the fact, I was charged an extra $6.00 for the privilege. My wife ordered the Power bowl. The tofu had zero spice, herbs, or other flavors. In fact, it had no discernible flavor at all. Just plain dull "food substance" but in huge ungainly chucks so rock hard they literally make a loud tapping sound against the plate. (It's a miracle she didn't chip a tooth.) The rice was undercooked to the point of unpleasant crunchiness and everything else was limp and bland and generic. It was as dreadful and unappealing as my desiccated burger. Honestly, two days before I had grabbed a quick pre-made gas station cheeseburger on the go and it was 10 times better. Save your money and your soul, and eat somewhere else. Anywhere else. Even a gas station. You'll be a whole lot happier. read more

Anyways, I asked the front counter guy and he said idk and went to ask the cook.......the cook responded with "what the fuck kinda stupid question is that?" And its amaIng that once the cook knew he had been caught saying what he said, he came running out the back door apologizing, too late. This place quickly became my favorite casual dining restaurant. All the chicken tastes so fresh and their house ranch is the incredible. I love the dirty sodas they do. Their service is living in the future; You can just grab a table, scan a QR code, and food will come to you. Expensive, seems like you can only order at a kiosk, took longer than I expected but it was a little busy, happy I only got one order of fries because they were so soggy and cold when I was handed the bag my daughter said she would eat them so I reluctantly didn't return them. Stopped here on our way back from a HS volleyball game. Ordered directly from a worker at the counter. I ordered a the Summer B.L.T. Burger with a turkey burger and sweet potato fries and the worker explained that there were no longer Jericho tomatoes and would I be okay with sliced tomatoes. no problem. My husband ordered his burger with regular fries. 40 minutes later we received our food. The fries were on the wrong plates. No problem. While we were switching burgers to each other's plates, my husband noticed that my burger was beef. I went up to the counter and told the person who took my order. I said I ordered turkey and this is beef. He said well you ordered the 28. I said I don't know what number you are talking about but, this is beef and I ordered turkey. He said, fine we will make it again. I stood there awkwardly for a minute wondering what to do with the plate. He said well do you want to just snack on the fries while you wait. Okay.. Brought it back to my table and picked at the fries while my husband ate his meal. My husband enjoyed his burger, though he noted it was small for the amount of time we waited. The regular French fries were just okay and the sweet potato fries were barely warm and soggy. 25 minutes later we were still waiting on the turkey burger. The restaurant was cold and I just wanted to leave. I went to the counter to check and see if it was ready to take it to go. Food taste, quality, and variety were great. However, the floors were filthy, as were the bathrooms. And I was there less than an hour after opening. They had packages of surface wipes on all the tables. I guess expecting customers to clean their own tables is the only way they'll get wiped, based on the rest of the restaurant. Nothing to rave about but vastly better than McDonald's or Burger King, as Bliss Bee attempts to straddle the line between fast food joint and hometown restaurant. Burger was bland, but sauce and pickles were great. Chicken sandwich was the highlight, a little chewy but it was clearly chicken that had been brined and then fried in house, so it tasted delicious. My SO had the gluten free chicken tenders, also delicious and fried correctly. Fries were mediocre but not bad. Price point... is a little high. But hey, it was fast and decent. I went in for quick take out. ordered a caesar salad. I've had them before and they were great. great salad. however, I went for takeout and they didn't mix it. they gave me lettuce, with two small cups of dressing. I bought extra dressing so please keep in mind you normally only get one, probably. I went back up to the counter and asked the man-child worker to mix my dressing in my salad. and he said "we don't do that for takeout orders." so I asked if he could do it for this one and he just started at me and blinked. so I walked out with my salad. for $10.00 on a salad this is disrespectful. As always with restaurants in the Farmhouse Group this place produces high-quality, often local food at the right price. The cooks definitely know what they are doing! I especially like their chicken sandwiches, and their salads. We have been to both locations and really like the South Burlington location the best.
