Same prices I paid when I shopped at Trader Joe's in Roswell GA though -- and it may be my imagination -- the bag of frozen Gyoza Potstickers (something I always buy) seems to have shrunk. The First Avenue bus is right outside. Convenient! I would avoid rush hour and weekends when the store could get super busy. I don't want to struggle with purchases on a crowded bus. But I'll surely be back, mid-week, mid-day.

But steer clear of their sliced bread - they don't carry standard brands like Pepperidge Farm and they don't remove old bread from the shelf - they can and will sell you bread that is over two weeks old. I neglected to check the date, like a sucker, until I took a bite out of the bread (Rudi's organic multi-grain oats) and wondered why it was so stale. I bought it today, January 17 but the date was December 30. I didn't find this loaf on some forgotten back shelf - it was right in the center of the middle shelf. $9.99 down the drain. And almost every bag of frozen vegetables I've bought there has been unusable thanks to freezer burn. Last week the organic broccoli I bought was covered in brownish ice (ugh!) So it's good for some types of groceries, not so good for others.
