    BLTA and sweet potato fries
    Melissa H.

Walking in I was hit with an impressive stage to the right, spacious bar in the front and seating to the left and outside. We were greeted promptly and our drinks were to us within minutes. My BLTA was great and so were the sweet potato fries. My friend said her burger was good. This is a great place to stop after a hike or if you're driving the country side. Also appears that they have cool cover bands as well. Very clean and fair pricing.

Unexpected! We went for a hike and decided to stop for lunch. The restaurant is really large and has a nice modern decor and beautiful views from the decks. Service is excellent- fast and friendly. We had onion rings and fried pickles for apps. Good ratio of breading to pickle/onion. The pickles were spears, not slices- but really good. We had Salmon Benedict- the hollandaise is NOT classic hollandaise- it's spicy- so if you don't like spicy or if you're craving hollandaise - it's not for you. It was salmon on what looked like crushed tater tots- but my friend ate all of it. Just know it's not a classic hollandaise. Wedge salad plus chicken- really great salad. Slap Yo Mama Cheesesteak- really delicious and classic cheesesteak. Birria Tacoa - really great- I love birria tacos and these were delicious and filling. Green Hatch Chili- it's really spicy, but has good flavor. Would return

I would describe the Wide Open Saloon as an upscale biker bar, if that's a thing. It is definitely not a dive bar. It is nice and clean inside. The location is cool with nice views. It is fairly large and has a rooftop patio. However, it is more expensive than other biker bars. I do not think the nachos I got were worth $15 nor the drink for $16. They have live music and brunch on the weekends with bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's. Still, the Wide Open is a great destination for a weekend ride. I've also been here for an event. They have a large room in the back that can be rented out for groups and they offer a bbq buffet. It was excellent bbq and service.

I have driven by this place many times, now the mystery is over. Perfect place for motorcycle riding, rock and rolling Americans to eat some extra delicious food. Today I tried the Best Street Tacos I've ever tasted, they use like mozzarella cheese, and put it all together in a fried corn taco shell, Perfect combination with a rich flavor. They have beautiful moutain view from 2 patios, 2 stages for music, and best of all you can hear the Hogs starting up and reveing up in the parking lot. Like my kind of heaven!

First time to this gigantic restaurant and live music venue. Decent beer selection with tap, bottles and cans. Really great food menu including pizza and burgers. Very attentive wait staff. Looking forward to my next visit

GIRLS TRIP. Hello Denver, we were at the "Wide Open Salon". That they sing the "NATIONAL ANTHEM". What a great place for a patriot. BROOK and Joe we're so much fun. I MISSED TOD! SKOOL DAZE is always fun, it was great seeing Frank again. It was so special to see the deer across in the field, they welcomed us back to Colorado. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Eggs Benedict other carnitas - but it's more like bbq pulled pork.

It's good for crowds and lunch after a hike. Lots of seating and quick service. The green chilling was delicious. Every dish has a twist to make it theirs - like the eggs Benedict comes on top of hash browns and the green chili has beans in it. It was good. If you like spicy heat then you'll love it.

A popular after work place among the locals, and the place was recommended to me by a friend. I went for Saturday brunch right when they opened, and I was disappointed that they weren't serving the eggs benedict. Opted for an array of items (Cantina Burger, Smoked Ribeye dip, breakfast sandwich, and side of burnt ends). - The burger was solid and a bit overcooked; pretty much an average burger. - The ribeye dip was probably the best item we got. The horseradish sauce was not too overpowering and the dip did a really good job at bringing the entire dish together. - Breakfast sandwich was nicely salty and fatty but a bit small for my taste to be a standalone main dish. - Burnt ends, unfortunately, fell very short. It was super tough and not seasoned. The bbq sauce was too sweet and seemed to just cover up how bad the burnt ends were. Definitely would make any Texan cry. Staff were super friendly and very attentive to our pace. Also, the views from the top floor are definitely special.

First of all, Mindy was my bartender and gave me flawless service, along with a great smile and background stories of the place and the patrons. She made my visit so much better. There wasn't any background music during my visit, but one could listen to Billy's (regular/legend in town) stories all day long. He chatted with a bunch of people who just came up to his table, and talked with Nancy at the bar in between. Small town charm at its best. Lots of topping sauces, but you didn't really need it for the burger. Great as it was, and I ordered the double. Option for pickles and onions that come on the side. They had Voodoo Ranger in the bottle for me also. I got the whole lowdown of the four owners of the place over 78 years (the present one even stopped by), and, if I wasn't told by Mindy, there is history ALL over the walls. Cool bar setup, with a good-sized dining room. The place was like a merging of a diner and a small town bar, and was absolutely perfect. Don't forget. No French fries offered, and cash only! The next time I head to Colorado Springs, I might have to change my way down or back up to get this thing again, and experience the place again. The burger was incredible, I highly recommend the place overall, and see you there...

We stopped in for brunch and everything we ordered was really good, but the Breakfast Hangover Burger completely stole the show for me. A burger topped with smoked ham, an over easy egg, avocado, American cheese, jalapeños, fried onion straws, and sriracha aioli sounds like someone lost a bet and just kept adding ingredients. Somehow it all works perfectly. We also ordered the Monte Cristo, which was crispy, cheesy, and exactly what I want when I order a Monte Cristo. Another highlight weee the donuts. As I have the past several times here, I went with the egg and carnitas tacos. I added a side of fresh fruit...both the eggs and fruit were very good. While she liked the taste of the avocado toast, she was very disappointed in the small size of the portion. She wish she had more. One daughter had the Mardi Gras omelette for the first time. While she liked the flavor, the fact that the ham was a full slice (lunchmeat style), as opposed to chunks or cubes, was weird...and required cutting with a knife. The other daughter tried the quiche for the first time and loved it. It is one of the better quiches around. Coffee is very good as well. Service was fine for the most part.
