    BLTA and sweet potato fries
    Melissa H.

Walking in I was hit with an impressive stage to the right, spacious bar in the front and seating to the left and outside. We were greeted promptly and our drinks were to us within minutes. My BLTA was great and so were the sweet potato fries. My friend said her burger was good. This is a great place to stop after a hike or if you're driving the country side. Also appears that they have cool cover bands as well. Very clean and fair pricing.

Unexpected! We went for a hike and decided to stop for lunch. The restaurant is really large and has a nice modern decor and beautiful views from the decks. Service is excellent- fast and friendly. We had onion rings and fried pickles for apps. Good ratio of breading to pickle/onion. The pickles were spears, not slices- but really good. We had Salmon Benedict- the hollandaise is NOT classic hollandaise- it's spicy- so if you don't like spicy or if you're craving hollandaise - it's not for you. It was salmon on what looked like crushed tater tots- but my friend ate all of it. Just know it's not a classic hollandaise. Wedge salad plus chicken- really great salad. Slap Yo Mama Cheesesteak- really delicious and classic cheesesteak. Birria Tacoa - really great- I love birria tacos and these were delicious and filling. Green Hatch Chili- it's really spicy, but has good flavor. Would return

I would describe the Wide Open Saloon as an upscale biker bar, if that's a thing. It is definitely not a dive bar. It is nice and clean inside. The location is cool with nice views. It is fairly large and has a rooftop patio. However, it is more expensive than other biker bars. I do not think the nachos I got were worth $15 nor the drink for $16. They have live music and brunch on the weekends with bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's. Still, the Wide Open is a great destination for a weekend ride. I've also been here for an event. They have a large room in the back that can be rented out for groups and they offer a bbq buffet. It was excellent bbq and service.

I have driven by this place many times, now the mystery is over. Perfect place for motorcycle riding, rock and rolling Americans to eat some extra delicious food. Today I tried the Best Street Tacos I've ever tasted, they use like mozzarella cheese, and put it all together in a fried corn taco shell, Perfect combination with a rich flavor. They have beautiful moutain view from 2 patios, 2 stages for music, and best of all you can hear the Hogs starting up and reveing up in the parking lot. Like my kind of heaven!

This place is top notch! Food, service, management, and patrons are so friendly and so much fun. I appreciate the hospitality time and time again. I love how they make dining in large groups a breeze. If you need a night out as a family, with friends, or date night consider WideOpen! Grateful for this place and their consistent hospitality!

First time to this gigantic restaurant and live music venue. Decent beer selection with tap, bottles and cans. Really great food menu including pizza and burgers. Very attentive wait staff. Looking forward to my next visit

Eggs Benedict other carnitas - but it's more like bbq pulled pork.

It's good for crowds and lunch after a hike. Lots of seating and quick service. The green chilling was delicious. Every dish has a twist to make it theirs - like the eggs Benedict comes on top of hash browns and the green chili has beans in it. It was good. If you like spicy heat then you'll love it.

A popular after work place among the locals, and the place was recommended to me by a friend. I went for Saturday brunch right when they opened, and I was disappointed that they weren't serving the eggs benedict. Opted for an array of items (Cantina Burger, Smoked Ribeye dip, breakfast sandwich, and side of burnt ends). - The burger was solid and a bit overcooked; pretty much an average burger. - The ribeye dip was probably the best item we got. The horseradish sauce was not too overpowering and the dip did a really good job at bringing the entire dish together. - Breakfast sandwich was nicely salty and fatty but a bit small for my taste to be a standalone main dish. - Burnt ends, unfortunately, fell very short. It was super tough and not seasoned. The bbq sauce was too sweet and seemed to just cover up how bad the burnt ends were. Definitely would make any Texan cry. Staff were super friendly and very attentive to our pace. Also, the views from the top floor are definitely special.

She recommended an off-menu item that definitely needs to be added. It was Mac & cheese with fries, fried chicken, cheese, ranch and buffalo sauce. Sounds weird; tastes amazing. We were also very excited about the vegetarian options as my husband is vegetarian. He loved the samosa burger. My daughter liked her chicken tenders but definitely wants the Mac and cheese next time. Also the food was HOT when it came out. So good! Great find in Castle Pines!

This experience could've been so much better, but unfortunately the service really missed the mark…read more I do feel bad because our server mentioned she was new, but it still doesn't excuse how things went. To start, it took over 30 minutes just for our order to be taken, and then another 30+ minutes for the food to come out. We were there for about 2 hours total when this should've been a maybe hour-long visit. When the food finally came, only half of it was brought out. The rest took another 15+ minutes, so most of us finished eating before the others even got their meals. We were starving after playing pickleball, so that was frustrating. On top of that, we could literally see our food sitting there for a while before it was finally brought out. Another issue was the menu being misleading. The vegan burger is advertised as an Impossible Burger, but it was very clearly a Beyond Burger... which is a big difference if you're vegan. When we brought it up, the server tried to correct us and even showed us a picture of the patties, which honestly just confirmed our concern instead of resolving it. To make it worse, the vegan burger was supposed to come with vegan mayo and tomatoes, but didn't have either. When we asked, we were told they had run out. It would've been nice to know that ahead of time instead of finding out after the food was already served. Also... the men's bathroom was out of soap, which is just not a great look. It makes you question cleanliness overall. It honestly seemed like they were understaffed, and if that's the case, there really should've been a manager stepping in to support the staff and help smooth things over for customers... especially considering the location. I'll end on a positive note... the Oklahoma Onion burger was actually really good (not the vegan one lol) I coud've eaten 2! Oh, and it seems like a good place to come watch sports as there are TV's everywhere and a well staffed bar.

HOLY FREAKING MOLY, THE BRINKERHOFF IN CASTLE ROCK JUST RUINED ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS FOR ME…read moreFOREVER!!! Listen up, you beautiful degenerates of Colorado -- if you're anywhere near Castle Rock and you DON'T drop everything to go to The Brinkerhoff, you're actively choosing a life of sadness and regret. This place is perched up there like a goddamn castle overlooking the kingdom, windows so meticulously clean I could see my future in them (and it was eating more ribeye). The views? ABSURD. I'm talking "postcard from heaven" levels of ridiculous. You'll be stuffing your face while staring at scenery that makes you question why you ever lived in a basement apartment. The ambiance inside is straight-up opulent too -- crystal chandeliers dripping like diamonds, stone walls, red leather booths, and that massive framed vintage Beech 18 airplane photo that hits different. Speaking of which... My best friend Rob took one look at that classic twin-prop Beech 18 on the wall and the hairs on his arms stood straight up. Turns out he actually flew one of those exact legends back in the day. There's a killer story behind it -- ask the staff about it, they'll hook you up with the full tale. Goosebumps guaranteed. This place doesn't just serve dinner; it triggers full-on life flashbacks. The food? ABSURDITY-INDUCING. I'm still recovering. * Spicy Hiramasa Roll -- TO. DIE. FOR. Spicy tuna, avocado, cucumber, and pure culinary sorcery. One bite and I ascended. I blacked out and woke up speaking fluent sushi. * Big Island Ribeye (16oz, soy-marinated) -- OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Juicy, flavorful, marinated in what I can only assume is liquid gold and unicorn tears. MUST GET. I would fight a bear for this steak. I would marry this steak. Hell, I'd let this steak ruin my credit score. * Chipotle Glazed Wagyu Short Ribs -- These bad boys were so awesome I almost proposed. Sweet, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth perfection that made me question every other rib I've ever had. They were basically foreplay for the main course. And don't even get me started on the STAFF. These legends deserve their own parade. Big shoutout to our waiter Larson -- the man dropped recommendations like they were bars in a rap battle. 10/10 service, zero notes. GM Lisa came in hot on the 4th of July, straight from the sister property Sierra, working like a boss and being the friendliest, most knowledgeable human alive. Absolute queen behavior. GM Heather rolled up, made sure everything was flawless, and then dropped restaurant history knowledge like a TED Talk. I felt cultured AND fed. And eternal props to Chloe & Keiley in reservations -- we showed up AN HOUR LATE like the chaotic gremlins we are, and they still saved our seats. That's not service, that's sorcery. This crew isn't just outstanding -- they're the Avengers of hospitality. Outstanding food + god-tier staff + Beech 18 nostalgia that gives your pilot buddy chills = I'm moving in. 10/10. 100/10. Infinity/10. It's a MUST-GO when you're in Castle Rock. Bring your appetite, bring your people, bring stretchy pants, and bring your best stories. I'm already planning my return like it's a religious pilgrimage. Brinkerhoff, you absolute madlads -- thank you for existing. I love you. Never change. (Go. Now. I like crunch in my fries. Steak fries are not my go to unless there's a crunchy outer shell. These fries are more flash fried with a not cooked through interior texture. Soggy with cooking oil. They grind their own brisket for the burgers. I chose the Southern Comfort Burger as I wanted a fried green tomato and the deviled egg. He went with the cheeseburger. Took them about 40 minutes from when we sat down to when we were served our food. Then my parm truffle fries were regular fries so server took my basket - I kept the burger so I could start eating - to show the kitchen. They sprinkled a bunch of parm on the fries. Did they add the black truffle oil? I don't think so. All I tasted was Parmesan from a spice jar. I don't think it was hand grated. When I asked about the fries I was told it's parm truffle. I think the description should be Parmesan fries. The burger - not sure where the deviled egg was because I didn't see it. Fried green tomato was meh. It tasted like a regular burger with a bunch of overcooked cheese and sauce. No taste to the burger. They did try to make up the fries situation with a to go order of fries. And that's when I realized their style of fries is flash fried. This place is not for a tasty meal. If you're hungry and thirsty on your outdoor adventure you can eat here but have plenty of time, patience and average expectations. It's filling food with good service. Wouldn't make it a point to drive here for a meal. Parking in shared lot. Clean restrooms.
