Great service and great people, always making sure they do the best they can on putting the customer first.

Went in for a putter. Greeted and taken over to the putter. I asked for a specific Taylor Made putter. "Yeah we sold a bunch our stock is low, feel free to try out the other outter". Leaves. I try a few putters but have my mind set on a specific putter. Went to the front counter and asked when the the stock order comes in. Takes the time to look it up and finds four of them in the warehouse.. unfortunately it looked like I was interrupting something more important. Begrudgingly he did go get them. Then checked out by a different associate. It was not busy. If I didn't have gift card I wouldn't have stayed. Bunch of kids looking for employee discounts and the customers are an inconvenience. Will not go go back! If you choose to use them, know exactly what you want because after the initial greeting from across the store you may not get any help. read more

Garret and Caleb. Both are excellent at the art of club fitting. It may take a trip or two to get to know them and get in the bay and knock it on the truth machine. After that, rest assured that they will take the time to put you in the clubs that suit your game and the game you want to have. A VERY customer friendly policy on all their products and services. Trade in's are fair. We are lucky to have a store full of talented and trustworthy staff. I went with the Srixon forged blades A thru 6, 4 & 5 I use the ZX 7. A mixed bag is no problem, they know how to fit the Srixon and the right shafts you will get your money's worth and enjoy yourself. read more

I'm from out of town and I came here to pick up some golf balls before I play. I've been torn between a few brands and the gentlemen behind the counter helped me out. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable about every brand and the characteristics of the ball (from the tee box to the greens). He helped me out a lot and I am very grateful for his outstanding customer service! If I'm back in this area again I will go out of my way to come back here, they have earned my business! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought shoes, balls, and a travel bag. Later that day when I went to pack my golf bag I realized the hard case I bought was barely to small and decided to exchange it for the larger one the next day. We'll the next day was Sunday which is the one day a week they open 2hrs later (11am) vs 9am and my flight was at 12!! I didn't know this until the doors weren't open at 9. The one employee there who I assume is the manager saw me and I told him my flight was at 12 and he remembered me from the previous day and with no questions he let me in and swapped my case out without batting an eye. Awesome service and I appreciate these guys a ton. Definitely recommend for the selection and service. read more

One of the last true full service golf shops left in Spokane. I needed some clubs regripped - great service, great price, they did it while I waited (took about 20 minutes for 8 clubs). The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I live in the valley and one of my buddies said... ah take your clubs to Dick's so you don't have to drive out to N. Town... meh. I don't want some guy who one minute is working on fishing tackle or shotguns to switch over to regripping my clubs! Plus Dick's actually charges you to install the grips - not at WWG. I had a guy who clearly knew what he was doing do the job right. C'mon Spokane golfers - let's make sure this great local business remains available to us for years to come - if you need golf supplies / clubs / regrips / whatever - consider giving your business to WWG. read more

I bought a set of Callaway Apex Forged 21 irons 4-AW from this place from their ebay store at the beginning of this year(2/2021). They even changed out the grips i wanted for free. Well, this week I noticed that the back plate of my 8 iron had fallen off at some point of my last round of golf. These are expensive irons. I emailed WWoG and inquired about a warranty replacement and the nice gentleman asked me if any of my other irons were damaged. i didn't even bother to check until he said something. Sure enough all the plates are loose, it looks like they are epoxy'd and are coming off. i sent him a video showing how all the back plates were loose. The rep from WWoG was able to contact the Callaway Rep and they are now building me a new set under warranty. Who knew customer service like this existed these days. Stopped by here the other day just to check it out. Didn't go in with the intention of buying anything and managed to leave without doing so. But the store itself was a golfers paradise. A very large selection of clubs, bags, shoes, and all kinds of accessories (grips, gloves, etc). It seemed like they had a whole lower level full of shoes. From the conversations that I heard, it seemed like they were pretty knowledgeable about club sizing, gripping, and what not. The prices didn't seem to be too bad, but I also didn't see any huge sales or discounts on a lot of items. For any golfer looking to make any sort of purchase for their game, this seems like it would be a good place to go. It's a very golf-dedicated store. read more

Maybe it was a bad day for them but my experience was that the service is non-existent. I wouldn't say bad just non-existent, which they are supposed to be a specialty shop, providing service. Strangely, I felt a bit like I had just walked into a boys-only club. I wanted to have proper clothes for the golf course. I was looking around for maybe 15 or 20 minutes, not much selection to see. There were polo shirts for $60 - $70! And they were too big. Couldn't find any slacks that might fit, also too big. The shoes were ugly and look uncomfortable. And only when I had already exited the store and was actually standing on the sidewalk a guy called out weakly, "Thank you mam..." (That was first time anyone in the store had even acknowledged me...AFTER I had already left). It's kind of funny but also true. If they were content to pretend they didn't know I was there all that time, then what's the point in telling me they knew I was there all along, as I'm walking out the door? Oh well, there are PLENTY of other places to buy gear. I don't pay extra for personal service at Walmart and I don't get it; that's reasonable. I would've been willing and able to pay more for quality gear and some service, even if it were just ok service. Sorry this is negative, but I'm trying to tell my review. Not 'Horrible' but far from great. Maybe you will find it better than I did, but I was surprised; we are in a recession aren't we? read more
