    Pumpkin spice dipped cones??? Hmm
    LaLa G.

Did a quick drive thru visit yo pick up an ice tea and polish sandwich. Was super impressed with how nice and personable the gal working the drive thru window was. Was super bummed to see that although she was wearing gloves for safety, that she touched money, credit cards and change in the cash register and then grabbed the ice scooper and scooped ice and made beverages. This is total cross contamination. This is a friendly suggestion to hopefully remedy that.

It seems like eons since I began eating at Wienerschnitzel in CA. My confession is I have never eaten anything on the menu except for fries and polish sandwiches. I love these 2 things and I think people forget that these sandwiches have been served since day one. Fresh rye bread, sliced polish sausage, slice of cheese, a pickle wedge and mustard! What's not to love? Add fries, and hallelujah . Thank goodness they are not located closer to my house! This store was clean and busy. The staff were friendly and they handled the lunch rush easily!

Best place for polish sandwich! Love to eat here. Staff are nice and helpful. Clean place to take your family.

This is extra cherries? Two? I paid an extra 70 cents for 2 cherries?

Pic is attached. Very disappointed that I paid for extra cherries and was only give two. Despite my receipt saying I was charged for them.

They have a special on weekdays, the day we went was a dipped cone.

I love Wienerscnitzel. It's good, cheap comfort food. I especially like the corn dogs and chili cheeseburgers.

They're always SO friendly - and I rarely order more than just the 100% beef mustard dog. Highly recommend!

It's a lot better than two hands corndogs. I can tell you that worth the price nice and crispy comes out hot and fresh every time.

What a treat! I wish I'd learned about Metro Subs years ago. A literal mom-and-pop (daughter made…read moremy sandwich), just the kind one likes to support. So, I was feeling like a sandwich and decided to try this little place in the Heights. Lots of parking, SUPER clean, welcoming, small but with good seating for pairs (inside and out) and great tunes playing (an eclectic and upbeat playlist - I liked every song during my visit, but several were new to me). An impressive menu (I've put up two shots of the menu board so as to help with any reflection issues) and just the nicest folks working. You know - immediately attentive and friendly, but then leaving you alone while you enjoy your food . . . asking to make sure everything's okay, but giving you your space. But you're here for the food, right? Well, it's quite reasonably priced and generously portioned. My hot pastrami was the California sort (not the fatty NYC sort of my childhood) and it came fairly loaded with juicy meat and just the perfect amount of the dressing I'd requested as well as an ideal amount of cheese. On an ethereally soft, fresh roll - ah, this today was the best sandwich roll I've had so far this year. Just a masterpiece. The sandwich (served with a bag of chips) was delicious and the price of the cold soda (a buck?!) was kind of amazing these days. They had really good looking brownies on the counter for $2, but I resisted. Kinda regretting that now that I'm back home remembering them. Ah well, I'll have to return soon!

Over the years I keep going back, about once a year: I've had their sandwiches, their pastries, their pies . . . all kinda "meh" and all priced pretty reasonably but not inexpensively. Sandwiches give you a lot of everything . . . except flavor. Pastries are . . . fine. Pies are . . . fine, and kinda small (and not inexpensive, maybe reaching towards pricey); it's the kinda thing you are willing to pay for in order to bring it to a gathering, only to find almost no one bothers to eat it. And so you don't bother. The cookies are pretty good, actually. (And, yes, I know Italian delis - my Italian grandparents brought me to them in New York when I was a child. However, I'm not judging Tully's against these (as in "it's not as good as Back East"), I'm just saying it never really turns my crank.) Today I had a hot chicken, cheese, onion and pepper sandwich, the Carmela. It was a lot of food. But . . . not a lot of flavor. A whole lot of drippy mess in the bottom of my basket, though: water absolutely sopped through the (completely unmemorable tasting) bread loaf and pooled at the bottom of my basket as I ate in. The potato salad served alongside was fine - like what you'd get at Albertson's. The chicken was tender and . . . essentially without flavor, not even salt. There had clearly been a little marinade (I could sense some oregano and maybe garlic in there) but man could this thing have used about five times as much seasoning and then a healthy dose of a vinegar/garlic/oregano dressing on top of it. Bland. Lots of food in that $17 (almost $25 with tip) sandwich, but not a lot of enjoyment. I've had other Tully's sandwiches (both for here and to-go) that were better, but I can't really recall any of them . . . and I _never_ rush back. Like I said, this is a place I think about ("Hey, I'm right nearby; I should try Tully's again!") about once a year . . . and then, meh. To be fair - I believe that I am pretty out in left field on this take: Tully's is popular and always hopping. Get here early unless you want to stand in line. I only had to wait about three minutes to order, but by the time I left at noon this Friday there was a line to order all the way from the counter to the door. In terms of the room, it's a deli. Reasonably well set out with a decent amount of seating set out well, as well as some outside seating that you might want to try when it's not in the nineties. You order at the counter, pay, go get your own fountain drink (they also have some beer and wine, which they will serve you), find a seat and they'll bring it to you. When you're done, you bus it yourself. Pleasant staff - I don't regret tipping, although they don't do much. (As others have mentioned, if you get a cup of water, Tully's generously gives you a decent sized Solo cup - another plus.) It's fine. If you go, at least get yourself some cookies - they're pretty good.

Local walking in order tables and chairs comfortable absolutely fine for what it is. Food... I had their special bratwurst hoagie... Small sausage big roll light on the peppers and onions. Not bad but I would certainly not come back for it. French fries were freshly cooked and crispy... Yum. Service... One woman working in the front... Justin from another job with the other jobs T-shirt on... Didn't seem to know much about what was going on. Another woman who was serving food that where the orders were took seem to know the score there in terms of the menu. But she wasn't family. She didn't ask if I needed anything else when she brought my food and never came back. I got a sandwich with yellow mustard on which I absolutely do not like ever, but ate it given the circumstances and wasn't feeling like I wanted to wait for them to redo it and the environment with the lack of service. I must say too like so many places you pay they turn around for you to sign and then it asked for a tip and I absolutely refuse to tip before I get service. Or if the service is just taking an order or buying something. It's crazy. Anyway, between the food and the service, I would definitely not come back to the café. If I live closer, I'd probably come check out the bakery. That was pretty busy while I was sitting there.
