I was surprised to see a Wienerschnitzel still in business. This is college comfort food. I understand that only a handful of locations are still in business, mostly in the Sacramento artist. I upgraded my hot dog to an all-beef hot dog for a few extra pennies. I asked for mustard only and the dog came with an overwhelming amount of mustard. I chuckled as I opened the bun. Bun - good All-beef dog - casing a bit tough. but it goes with the territory of all-beef. Overall, you get what you pay for. I was pleasantly surprised to see an AV charging station.

I think it's been open for under an hour so far. No really, like actually open and serving food. The dining room looks a little bleak but who cares, right? It's a quick stop-off to grab a wiener or two. It does look very sanitary in there and that's a comfort sometimes. I got a chili cheese dog which ended up being ~$2 plus tax. It was exactly what I expected a Wienerschnitzel chili cheese dog to taste like. If you're looking for high quality, artisan blah blah blah meats, you are in the wrong place. If you want a quick weenie, jackpot. They look to have desserts and fruity drinks also, but I wanted a weener. Pretty sure I will be back for a corn dog because someone I know really likes corn dogs. Supposedly they do those well here. Score Dixon! Finally got their Wienerschnitzel on!!!!!

They have a good selection of hotdogs and they look and taste delicious. The jalapeño poppers was cheesy and spicy just how I like it. The pretzel bun was a little tough so I'll just order a normal bun next time.

We were heading back from Fremont today and ended up seeing a sign for Wienerschnitzel. It had been a long time sense any of us had had anything from here! To be honest, I didn't even remember what it tasted like. So we all pulled over and had a bite to eat. I ordered the mini corn dogs and we ordered a few different hotdogs to try. We also ordered the thousand island chili cheese fry's. I ordered a root beer float to drink which did look exactly like the picture at first and hit that craving I had for a sweet treat. I actually have to give them credit, the mini corn dogs were actually very fresh and tasty. The green chili cheese dog had so many jalapeno's that I the smell was overwhelming for me and I couldn't take a bite to try it. Our service was actually as fast and friendly as it could be during a covid 19 pandemic. Over all it was a good experience for just pulling off of the road and getting a quick bite to eat during a road trip.

I stopped in here for a quick dinner and got the basic chili cheese dog. Tasty and warm. Very nice, clean facility. Try it out!

Absolutely loved my first visit to Wienerschnitzel. This establishment is actually brand new so that added to my overall terrific experience. It was very clean and the service was excellent. One of the ladies even brought my order to my table (you never get that kind of service at other fast food joints). I was extremely impressed with the chicken corn dogs and the jalapeño poppers. Even down to the fries were perfectly salted. I have to mention that it was great to see the manager assisting her team when they needed help or had questions.

We walked in and weren't even greeted. The older lady was moving around then comes to the register and stands there doesn't say a word, just looked irritated for no reason. I ordered, she was rude with an attitude. Got our food asked for sauces. My daughter later goes back to ask for more sauce and she practically bites the other lady's head of saying she already got a sauce. I go up and she's extremely rude trying to break down how many sauces we get. I don't care if I had to pay for them, the attitude and rudeness of this lady was totally unacceptable. She acts like I wanted her to pay for the with her money. Clearly a customer service job is NOT for her. The manager should really make some changes.

LOVE THAT CHICKEN FROM POPEYES!!!…read more Specifically from this particular location! Now I have been coming to this Popeyes when they were conjoined with the 76 gas station! And when I came back to Dixon, I was so THRILLED to see them have their own brick and mortar location and man it's a beautiful one! When I was coming to them when they were inside 76 gas station back from 21' to 23', the chicken was slap ya ancestors good and is JUST AS GOOD as I remember at their new own location! I'm sad to see the many one star reviews, now to be fair. When they were at 76, I always did drive thru and the ladies and gents working there were ALWAYS very nice, and I went there quite a bit. And now coming back to Dixon 2025 in their new brick and mortar, customer service has been great for me, so far. I mainly order from the Popeyes app and set for pick up. My food is always hot and fresh, the workers are very nice through drive thru. And I actually went inside on Thursday night to get my order, it wasn't ready and I waited. The lady called me up for my order and gave my food, she was very nice, as were the rest of the staff there. They are a very busy location and located right off the freeway! I live in Sacramento and I have always bragged to my loved ones how Dixon's Popeyes is the BEST I have ever had and they still hold that title for me!

EXPERIENCE 2/14/2026…read more We ended Valentine's Day this year with dinner here at La Cocina. We saw an ad for this restaurant while patroning another restaurant and the Mister suggested we try this out on our way back to Vacaville from Sacramento. Since it was Valentine's Day, he called and made sure there was room for us and we are so glad that there was. SPOT // 5 stars Situated close to HWY 80, right by the exit on the freeway. Tucked in a strip mall with plenty of free parking. When we walked in, it was a total vibe! We love the decor and the vibrant colors. They had plenty of tables open despite the Valentine's Day weekend. Excited to be seated and have this dining experience. FOOD // 5 stars, fire Since it was Valentine's Day, we opted for one of the specials they had advertised. Fajitas platter It was brought out in a platter complete with Steak, Shrimp, Pork and Chicken. We opted for flour tortillas (corn was also available). The plate also consisted of rice and beans and guacamole. We asked for no onions, but were disappointed when it came with HELLA onions both on the side with the peppers and under the meat on the platter. I myself don't mind it, but the Mister did. He ended up moving all those onions to my side so I can eat it all up. Super flavorful with each bite. Guacamole was on point, fresh and I couldn't stop eating it. CHOCO TACO // 5 stars, fire As soon as I saw this and mind you it's homemade, I could NOT wait to get my hands on it. So so so good, just like the original Choco Taco we all used to get from the ice cream trucks that roam our neighborhoods back in the days. I was not disappointed. They also had churros and flan as their regular desserts, but today they were out of churros so I was not hurt when they offered the choco taco. STRAWBERRY MOJITO // 5 stars, fire I forgot to say they have a full bar. The strawberry mojito was listed as a Valentine's day special, so I'm not sure if they have it all the time. I hope so, because it was amazing! SERVICE // 10 stars, fireworks The staff was extremely attentive and catered to our every needs. I'm not sure if the Owner came and chatted with us and asked how we were doing, but she did mention they've been open for 15 years!!!! Yes, 15 years. She was so nice and inviting as with the rest of the staff. We told her we saw her ad at another restaurant and she was happy that we patron the establishment. Hidden gem ... yes! Fresh and tasty .. yes! We will come back and try some other dishes on the menu. Get there!

Habit sold out to YUM brands in 2020. The goal for the company that also owns KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut was to make money in CHINA. So instead of a cool, beachy, California burger place, Habit is now just another logo. We all get the same crap food everywhere with a different logo. We cannot emphasize strongly enough how tiny they've made their burgers. They look bigger in our picture than they actually were. They don't taste anything like they used to. We walked into this location after a long drive with two hours still ahead of us. There were two occupied tables that already had their food. We stood there for TEN minutes without anyone saying one word or acknowledging our presence. They looked at us but said nothing. As we stood at the counter, a woman came out of what we think was the bathroom. She had to walk right next to us to go behind the counter. We're thinking "oh good, the front counter person is here". Nope. She walked right by us, made a U-turn around the counter, and headed into a back office. Remember, we had been in our car for several hours. We didn't mind standing. We walked into the store and up to the counter. After 15 minutes of standing there, one of us looked behind us and to the left (closer to the seating area) and said "oh I guess we're supposed to order over there?". Still no contact from the crew. Blank millennial stares. We ordered at the kiosks in the seating area and started looking for a table. They were all covered in either grease, crumbs, pieces of food, or stickiness. We went to the counter to grab a handful of napkins to wipe off a table and a guy behind the counter walked near us. We asked if they had a bus towel or something we could use to clean a table. The only reason for two stars is this guy finally smiled and was pleasant, in at least a retail way. He grabbed a towel walked with us to a table, wiped it and we had a nice wet table top which we then dried with our handful of napkins. As he turned away he said "sorry about that" and we started to say "that's ok thanks for your help", but as soon as we started to say that it was clear he was talking on his headset to a drive through customer. So we're all just cogs in the Yum brands corporate machine One of the last "good" burger places in California is now dead forever. A rotting corpse of a once promising brand to be used and wrung out for every penny Yum brands can get until they spin it off or shut it down or move it to "Asia". Zombie workers kill time for money at their dead end positions, pleasing a manager who is doing the same. All of them biding time until Yum brands figures out how to crank out corporate "food" without any workers at all. Good bye Habit. You used to be good. Your new owners can't even maintain the pepper and condiment bar.
