My first time trying a chili dog ever, and I also got a chicken tender hot dog with bacon and sauce and tomato. The flavor is pretty decent for both but the chili dog just felt too soft overall - too homogenous in texture! The bird dog was crispy and yummy! I'd def get that one again. My friends chili cheese fries unfortunately did not have enough chili at all! It's pretty bare bones inside - there's a few seats outside to sit when the weather is nice. There was no one else on the place and it still took maybe 10 mins to get our food so I guess it was made fresh! read more

We ordered chili dogs and a side of the hot dogs were hard and crispy. They must have been heated on a flat top grill. Other restaurants don't do this so it makes me think the hot dogs were sitting around awhile. Eww. Fries and corn dogs were fresh though. read more

Zero stars if I could the older man working the drive thru window this Sunday morning was very rude he was also coughing , talking loudly at me when I asked for my receipt he said no he couldn't give me my receipt! Make sure you check your receipt. I order an 11.29 meal with a 3.39 dog. Total came to 29.55 Luckily I caught it and asked how that come to 29.55 His response was "well you.gotta pay tax. You know that right its not free". Yeah I get the tax but not over 10$ in tax. I asked him to repeat my order he said "I got it correct" I said ok then repeat it. After he repeated it he double chartered me for the 11.29 meal. I told him "oh its only 1 meal not 2 " he then said that not what you said earlier so your fault not mine". So I walked out. Absolutely the worst fast food experience I have ever had. I waited for 10 minutes before someone came to take my order. Rekha is freaking rude. Did not greet me. No smiles, no nothing. Yelled at me because I didn't want Coke so I asked her to change it. She snatched my cups rudely threw them away. Put my food on the counter and just walked away. She barely put any chili on my dogs. I was surprised to see a Wienerschnitzel still in business. This is college comfort food. I understand that only a handful of locations are still in business, mostly in the Sacramento artist. I upgraded my hot dog to an all-beef hot dog for a few extra pennies. I asked for mustard only and the dog came with an overwhelming amount of mustard. I chuckled as I opened the bun. My husband and I seen an ad for fish and chips which looked pretty decent!! As we all know, looks can be deceiving, and this was one of those times!! For 7.99 they give you two fish sticks with fries. To put it bluntly, the fish is gross!! Don't waste your money!! I think it's been open for under an hour so far. No really, like actually open and serving food. The dining room looks a little bleak but who cares, right? It's a quick stop-off to grab a wiener or two. It does look very sanitary in there and that's a comfort sometimes. I got a chili cheese dog which ended up being ~$2 plus tax. It was exactly what I expected a Wienerschnitzel chili cheese dog to taste like. If you're looking for high quality, artisan blah blah blah meats, you are in the wrong place. We were heading back from Fremont today and ended up seeing a sign for Wienerschnitzel. It had been a long time sense any of us had had anything from here! To be honest, I didn't even remember what it tasted like. So we all pulled over and had a bite to eat. I ordered the mini corn dogs and we ordered a few different hotdogs to try. We also ordered the thousand island chili cheese fry's. I ordered a root beer float to drink which did look exactly like the picture at first and hit that craving I had for a sweet treat. I actually have to give them credit, the mini corn dogs were actually very fresh and tasty. The green chili cheese dog had so many jalapeno's that I the smell was overwhelming for me and I couldn't take a bite to try it. Our service was actually as fast and friendly as it could be during a covid 19 pandemic. Over all it was a good experience for just pulling off of the road and getting a quick bite to eat during a road trip. read more

Absolutely loved my first visit to Wienerschnitzel. This establishment is actually brand new so that added to my overall terrific experience. It was very clean and the service was excellent. One of the ladies even brought my order to my table (you never get that kind of service at other fast food joints). I was extremely impressed with the chicken corn dogs and the jalapeño poppers. Even down to the fries were perfectly salted. I have to mention that it was great to see the manager assisting her team when they needed help or had questions. read more

This was my very first visit to Wienerschnitzel and it turns out this location is brand new! I was so excited to try everything on the menu. The place was so clean and very well kept and service was excellent! The manager also assisted in taking my order and made sure all questions were answered by any staff member who needed assisting. Im very disappointed with this place . First time here and I was taking a little while ordering for me and my family but no one was behind me so I didn't think it was a big issue . Total was almost 40 bucks still wanted something else for myself when the person on the intercom started getting high pitched like if they were annoyed already . I get to the window and ask if she was the one taking my order she replied with were going back in forth which I knew it wasnt her because she didn't have attitude. I love to order hot dogs or polish sandwiches because it is easy to eat while I drink to work. But maybe I need to try another quick place to eat while driving to work. Again my order was done wrong. The order taker seemed to have a bad attitude. She did not thank me for coming. I was the only customer in the drive through and she closed the window on me after taking my credit card. When I was at the Reasturant I felt disrespected and Also I felt like I wasn't welcome there or around there and that since I was black that I shouldn't be there or complain about the way I was treated. I do not make reviews a lot but I felt I should this time. I ordered a Sunday and I was given a rotten banana split and then when I complained the employee stated we give it to people like you all the time and they don't complain and you shouldn't. I was very angry at the statement she mad, the manger mad that statement, I asked for a refund and decided I would never return to that location. Then I was harassed and Embarrassed and followed out by a white employee who asked if I was going to throw away my tray and i stated have a nice day, I wasn't rude or mean and then she went off and called me races names and stated that if I ever came back she would call the cops because I wasn't wanted and stuck her middle finger at me and her tongue in disrespect as I was a filthy dog and slurred races remarks to me in front of everyone in the Reasturant, customers and other employees. I felt very sad embarrassed and not welcome there and I don't want anyone to ever go through something like that as I did, I haven't worked for 2 weeks because emotionally stress.
