Drive-thru was slow moving but we patiently waited. We ordered the 6 hotdog combo (came w 3 med fries), 2 Chicago dogs, lemonade, orange dipped cone and fish and chips. It was rushed even though we waited almost 30 minutes total from pulling up to getting our food. Fries was undone, fish and chips was a joke, the hotdog buns were stale and hard on the ends, orange dipped cone tasted unusual and Chicago dog was not a Chicago dog, missing poppy seed bun and the relish. Going thru the drive thru, the ambiance felt rushed from the girl taking our order. Every-time we told her an item, she would she, "what else". This location was terrible that night. read more

Prices are great if you are looking for drive up. For a place that specializes in dogs, they do have other selections on the menu, so this is a plus if you have family with you and not everyone is on the same food channel! They also have family sized selections that makes getting to go food for the clan more affordable than most places. There are usually coupons in the local ad flyer that gets delivered to your mail box AND they have soft serve!!!! read more

This was the worst customer service I've EVER experienced. My husband and I are visiting and he wanted Wienerschnitzel. So, as he's driving near UTEP, I place the order online. It says the order will be ready by 3:18pm. We take Mesa Street the entire way and we arrive around 3:30pm. The lady at the front (no one is wearing name tags, so I'm not sure of her name) asks how she may help me. I let her know that I have any online order. She lets me know that it's not ready, yet. She turns her back quickly and begans to talk with her co worker (who later identifies as a manager from another store). That's fine. There were only 2 cars in the line but I came inside anyway. Then, the manager from the other store, Crystal, mumbles "We don't have any banana splits and can't control what's online. So, go online for a refund. I go online and as you see in the picture, the website let's me know to contact the store. I let Crystal know but she was being very dismissive and defensive. If the store manager plays back the audio, he can hear how dismissive, unprofessional, discourteous, incompetent and slothful they were. She just started talking in Spanish with the other lady, a guy working there starts laughing. I speak French, Yiddish, Hebrew and Arabic but just a bit of Spanish, so I couldn't understand them fully. We all speak English, so I don't know why she kept speaking to her in Spanish. It was more than off-putting and only one if them needed to help me. Finally, they ask if I'd want something else off of the menu. I let them know that I'd like the banana splits made without the bananas if they have all of the other ingredients and to make up for the extra $2, maybe a beverage. Crystal made a big thing out of that. As I'm talking with Crystal, the other lady was working the register helping another customer rudely cuts me off and said "YOURE HOLDING UP OTHER PEOPLE. OU WANT MY STORE MANAGER'S NUMBER?!?". I told her to focus on helping that customer and doing what she was doing because I was talking with Crystal. The entire time, I'm composed but they were EXTREMELY defensive from the time I entered and the order wasn't ready, even though I was patient concerning that. Crystal did eventually say "Look, I can give you a beverage this time but I'm not supposed to. I'm here from another store...". I didn't need to know any of that. I told Crystal "I own a business. Can I share something with you? Deflecting by saying that it isn't your store or that you can't control the website is not good customer service. When I came in and you noticed the banana splits were no longer offered, instead of being defensive, you could have said 'Hi, I apologize that our website allows you to order banana splits, but we don't offer those any longer. We will be happy to either refund you or replace those with an item of equal value". She got more defensive and the other lady finally made the orders of banana splits. When I let her know to add Oreo crumble (just as my Candy Banana split would have), she spoke roughly and said " We don't put that on the banana splits!" I'm assuming Crystal corrected her in Spanish, as they talked because she added it. This was too much and there's more that happened but just as I told them "We shouldn't even have to talk this long. This could've been handled more efficiently." I've traveled to 48 countries and quite a few cities in the US, with restaurants that are much busier and NEVER had this poor level of service. Deflecting and being defensive is not good character in any level. Crystal even told me that I didn't need to know the other lady's name when I asked. I asked why no one was wearing name tags and she said that they were ordering some. I told them if they were being mystery shopped they would've failed. My husband just want something quick as we got in from the airport and after stopping over at UTEP but this was the pits. May they see this and take note of their ways, especially if they plan on continuing careers in customer service. I know there's a lot going on right now but come on, people. Do better. read more

We don't have any hotdog places with recognition in El Paso, other than hotdog stances, the are all mostly great but tend to very inconsistent and are not always at the same location. Winerschnitzel, is a good 3 Star hotdog place. Best hotdog large chain I've been. The burgers are very good too. The reason I give it 4 stars stars instead of the 3 I really think it deserves is only because In my opinion they have the best French Fries of any fast food restaurant. read more

We came here and we waited so long for our order to be taken. There was no cars and a family had already been served. When they did tend us, the girl looked super high! Great experience! Restaurant was clean and employees were friendly. They initially messed up our order, but they were very nice about it and completely remade what was incorrect. A gentleman named Travis brought it out to us and sweetly apologized. He also offered some free ice cream cones for the kids. All six of us decided to get desserts but no one wanted cones so Travis knocked a few bucks off our dessert order. Everyone was friendly and fun and the food was great. I use to eat this all the time especially because I live right across the street but they have really really yummy corn dogs! And the fries are bomb too! The root beer floats are even better. I honestly have no complaints about this place because my order is correct every time! Unfortunately I just went Pescatarian, but I hope anyone eating there enjoys the food for me!! read more

Went in kind of early. The food was pretty good, and the cashier was SUPER nice. He used his hands to scoop fries though (for another customer who complained; we didn't get fries) so that's kind of gross. Sat in line for about 10 minutes (there was only 1 car in front of us and none behind us.) The kid at the window handed extra small ice cream cones out the window to the car in front of us without wrappers, napkins or anything! The same kid came outside to my car to confirm the order (which was incorrect) and get my credit card for payment. Our drink wasn't filled all the way and was almost all ice! The food was hot. When I said something about the drink he did refill it for us. The food was good. The price was good too! read more

Been coming here since the 70's. Always a good hotdog and fries. Ice Cream treats are hard to beat here.

Always delicious! The hot dogs are kinda slimy and the fries are gooey but overall pretty good!
