Customers should definitely compare prices before ordering at this Wienerschnitzel. I regularly go to the Wienerschnitzel at 15753 Leffingwell Rd in Whittier, and I was surprised by how much higher the prices are at this Florence Ave location, even though the two restaurants are only a few miles apart. For example, the Root Beer Float alone is roughly 30% more here. And it isn't just the drinks. I noticed the food and other menu items are also priced higher. I understand that franchise locations can have different prices, but when another Wienerschnitzel just a few miles away sells the same food and drinks for noticeably less, customers should know about it. A dollar or two extra on different items adds up very quickly, especially for families or regular customers. I hope the Florence Ave location takes a look at the prices being charged at nearby Wienerschnitzel restaurants and becomes more competitive. I would gladly come back if the prices were closer. Until then, the Leffingwell location is a much better value for me. read more

I'm unsure why this location gets low ratings. I stopped in recently for a quick lunch. Surprisingly I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The location appeared clean and well maintained. I reviewed my app and put in my order. Soon after I received my food grabbed a seat and enjoyed my food, which was made just like other wienerschnitzels as expected. Parking here is easy, prices are affordable, the interior is clean and service is friendly. Minus one star due to an inoperative soda fountain. read more

Wienerschnitzel is probably not the best idea in general. The food didn't have the worst taste but you just know it's not going to end well. The chili is probably the best part, the meat reminds of elementary school meat and the fries are tasteless. Unfortunately I did get a bad case of the runs afterwards. I'd personally stay away. I was a bit hesitant to visit this location due to the reviews, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. We came through the drive-thru late at night, and the person who helped us (receipt said Jaime O.--not sure if it was him) was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He took our order with a great attitude and made the experience feel easy and pleasant. Our food came out hot and fresh, and the mango lemonade was surprisingly good! The mini corn dogs were burnt, dry, and cold. The chili dogs tasted funny and were barely warm. My Dr Pepper tasted off, as if some lemon-lime had been mixed in. This place is straight up TRASH! The drive through/cashier named Betty is trash too. I went thru the drive thru and ordered a #3 with a coke and a large chili cheese fries with onions and easy cheese. She said you want a chili fries with easy onions extra cheese!? I said no and repeated what I wanted. She repeated the order back which was correct, but somehow after I pay I notice only a chili cheeseburger, a chili dog, and chili cheese fries inside the bag which were not large. I told her I'm missing my fried for the number three and the chili cheese fries are regular not large. She began arguing with me and not saying sorry for her mistake. She said well I'll give you a large but have to charge you. I said after it was your mistake when I repeated it and you finally repeated it back?? And after I just spend $17.50 for 3 items? She still had not apologized, but gave my wife and I major attitude. I went inside to speak to the manager. Went through the drive thru and this has been my second time here and both times during dinner time. They only have one person working both the drive thru and the lobby cash register. Which I don't know why they would only have one person working both stations during a busy time. The wait time for both was over 15 minutes and that's with no one in front me in the drive thru.
