I stopped by on Feb 25th around 3:50pm and ordered two sundaes from Jesse. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. He moved extremely slowly, seemed totally unmotivated, and didn't even fill the sundae cups properly. When I asked why they were so small compared to previous visits, he told me they're "supposed to be filled under the lid." I asked why they weren't at least filled to the edge, and he just shrugged and turned around. The Manager (not of his name, Maybe he's the owner) has never disappointed me like this while he's there. For a place that usually delivers great service, this was a letdown. A little effort and basic customer care would've gone a long way. Jesse could have made things right after I complained. First of all what is wrong with your portions!? I got a chili dog that had maybe one teaspoon of chili and the pretzel bun I paid extra for was like chewing cheap beef jerky! I also got 2 chili cheese fries burrito but I can sadly say it was a cheese fries burrito! There was maybe half a bite of chili in it! I knew the owner who recently just passed away so I assume that there's new owners because I have never had this problem but I came today to continue to support My Love for Wienerschnitzel's and we ordered Sundays for our kids after school as a treat and instead of getting served a Sunday we got served what looks like a sample Sunday . It's crazy to me how the cost of food can go up, but the quality and the service has gone down. Disappointed will never be ordering Sunday again from here any more! read more

It was completely empty and it was extremely clean. The service was absolutely amazing! I order food to eat there and I ordered food to go and they asked if I wanted them to make it before I leave which I appreciated. They gave out stickers for kids but I did ask for some as well because look at how cute they are. They also had a photo of the founder which I absolutely loved. Food was good as well. This Weinerschnizel is the only one we like to go to. Johnny has been there 30 years and gives great service to everyone. We like dining inside where many other locations don't have that option. We enjoy supporting Whittier local businesses like this one and with all the customers there today at lunch time, it looks like others feel the same. I've been going to this Wienerschnitzel / Foster's Freeze location for several years. Besides food, I always get a Hot Fudge Sundae or Chocolate Shake. Two days ago I went through the Drive-through and ordered a Hot Fudge Sundae. The guy who took my order said they didn't have Hot Fudge so I got regular Chocolate Syrup. When I arrived at the window I asked the cashier if they were just temporarily out of Hot Fudge. The cashier told me that for some reason the franchise owner took the Hot Fudge away. I told him I was surprised that the Hot Fudge didn't sell well (usually the reason a product is discontinued) and he told me it was their best selling topping and he couldn't figure out why the owner took it away. This location is simply amazing in every way. The crew was rocking it from the counter to the cook and drive thru! The food was prepared exactly as ordered and fresh in every way. I get up to ask what happened to our order. The girl that waited on me seems to be the same one and she's very friendly, and kind, and accommodating. She has great customer service. Wow!! This is the 3rd time I have been thru this drive thru at 8pm and ever single time Im greeted with a very nice, happy and professional female at the drive up speaker. Her name is Angelina and ever time she has taken my order, she has asked if I want all beef or original hot dog, asked if I would like a drink or if there is anything else she can get for me. She has always repeated my order back to me and I have always received exactly what I ordered. I never do drive thru's because nobody can get it right but Angelina has every single time time. She knows her job well and doesn't skip a beat when you're paying and moves the line quickly. She is an asset to your company and needs to be promoted as she is all about accuracy, friendly, always a great positive attitude a great person to train others. IN-N-OUT burger would hire her no problem because she gives the same great service when I go there and not many can come close to that kind of service.
