I had never tried Botox before in my life, but I decided to get it for the first time yesterday as well. I don't think the results have shown yet, so I'm planning to post a review once they do. Since we were already in Orange County, we stopped by a bakery at the Source Mall. I bought several pastries there. The fresh cream bread was very delicious. I didn't try the custard cream bread because my younger brothers ate it, so I can't really comment on the taste. I also haven't tried the pecan pie yet. Lately, Dubai chocolate cookies have been extremely popular and trendy, so I asked whether this bakery had them. They said yes, so I bought one for $6.75. However, when I tried it this morning, it was absolutely not a Dubai chocolate cookie. It was basically just a chocolate pie. There was no pistachio flavor at all, and no pistachios inside--just a very ordinary chocolate pie. That part was extremely disappointing. Also, yesterday I asked the bakery if they could provide paper plates so we could cut and share the pastries, but she said they didn't have any. Other bakeries usually provide paper plates, so it was disappointing as well.

They always have a wide variety of donuts to choose from. I was overwhelmed by the many different unique options. I tried their Dubai Biscoff one which had some cream in between. It was glazed on top. The texture when I bit into it was divine. It had the perfect of cream, crunch and softness. It was also the perfect amount of sweetness. I shared one with one other person and we both loved it. Old Ferry is mostly all speciality donuts so they run a little higher in price but you can't get their unique flavors anywhere else so its a nice treat. They make them different everyday. The donuts costs about $3-$6 each, which is a fairly reasonable price. There's also beverages such as tea and coffee available. The shop was clean. There's no indoor seating but the staff was kind enough to allow us to grab seats from outside to hang out indoors because it was so hot that day and I was starting to feel light headed. When we pulled up, first thing we noticed was a line going out the door (for context, there was only a few families in line ahead of us). Very good sign. Typical SoCal donut shop vibe. What stood out was the size of their raised donuts and croissants. Their twists were massive compared to most donut shops. Then there's the croissants, they had to be the size of my head, and I wear a size 8 hat if that gives you any indication. I should have snapped some pictures of the display. But I think I have my go to. The workers were friendly and it seemed to be a family run shop as they all are.
