I earned $2.50 for a $49 purchase, which came out to about $1 per 20 spent or so (I'm not sure if that's their whole system, but that was today's purchase at least). Friendly staff, fun place. With one of the more extensive back issues and graphic novel collections I have seen in the area, Cosmic is run by friendly and helpful people whose love of the genre is evident. Yes there is some merch, but the focus is what you came for, the stories. I never feel rushed here and there is even a couch to sit and read some of the promotional comics while my 21 year old buried his head in the backissue boxes searching for that one cyclops or teen titans story. Definitely worth a trip for the comic fan.

It's not my first time at the shop since making this review, but every time I walk into the shop, it's always the same great experience of feeling welcomed and amazing customer service. The shop feels like a candy store, but for comic book readers. It's always well-maintained and clean and I regret to say I always manage to stay longer than I want too (which is not good for my wallet). They have an abundant selection of collectibles, graphic novels, manga, and comics (current and back issues) to choose from. If you can't find what you are looking for, they can try to order it for you and purchase at the shop later. When new issues do come out, staff are always giving out good recommendations and pitch out smart sales to their customers (also bad for my wallet). If you live close by here and love comic culture, consider yourself lucky because this is one of the best local comic shops here in the Las Vegas metro area.

Saw Blackbird and decided to check them out and I'm so glad I did! The floor is pretty clean and well organized. There are good amounts of comics ranging beyond DC/Marvel and prices were reasonably fair. Good balance between vintage and new comics. Service was exceptional and Tommy was great to work with! I was able to snag the OG Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #8 at a fair discount which help me complete my set collection of the series. If you're visiting Vegas or a local, I would highly recommend checking this place out! They are great and very military friendly!

I've been here a few times now to sell, and they've been consistent every time. Unlike a lot of…read morecard shops that pick and choose, they're willing to look at pretty much everything. Their offers are fair too -- usually right around recent average sales -- so you don't feel lowballed. On the buying side, they've got great prices and I've had some solid pulls here too. Good selection, easy process, and overall just a great shop to deal with. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

However, this was my last time shopping at The Awesome Card Shop. I bought 6 packs of 2018 Bowman Platinum fat packs totalling over $450. When I went to pick up the packs, I asked the cashier if they could throw in a box of top loaders and she said "Sorry, I can't do that." Shocked at her answer I replied "Really?! Even after spending $450+ on product? You guys usually do." She replied with the same response. I left the store feeling annoyed and unappreciated. You think a local card shop would have better business sense when it comes to customer retention. I guess it's just Legacy Card Shop from now on.

They're always friendly, welcoming, remember their regulars, and truly make you feel like part of the community. Customer service here is second to none. The selection is excellent, from new releases and back issues to graphic novels, collectibles, and statues, all at very fair prices. My son has a pull list here, and they always let him know when his books arrive or when there are great deals or promotions. The store has an awesome vibe with great music, a clean layout, and even a retro gaming area in the back where you're encouraged to hang out and play. Snacks and drinks are only $1, which is a nice touch. Their apparel is also fantastic, with unique designs inspired by comics, Vegas sports, and pop culture that you won't find just anywhere. Great hours, great prices, incredible people, and a store that truly cares about its customers. Maximum Comics has earned our business for years to come. Highly recommended!

Maximum Comics' brand new Centennial Hills store is one where it's easy to get lost in time!…read more My daughter and I stopped by to take a look at their comics! Upon entering the new store, I immediately noticed the vast amount of space within. The entire store felt well organized, allowing you to easily browse their many items including comic books, graphic novels, collectibles, and action figures. While interacting with the employees at the new Centennial Hills store, I found them to be extremely friendly and willing to assist with any questions I may have asked! They were offering free comics on the day we stopped by and ended up getting a Sonic, Spidey, Avengers, and Lego Batman comic! The store had an extensive amount of inventory! Each time I believed I had viewed every item available, I discovered an additional shelf, display, or section to view. Whether you are a serious collector or just interested in learning more about comics, there will likely be some type of product that interests you at MaximuM comics! The new Centennial Hills store is a fantastic addition to the area. It recently moved from the Walmart shopping area, now over to Tenaya next to Starbucks and a few local restaurants. It is clean and is very well stocked. Be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time there, even if you only intend on taking a quick peek!

Shelving/product has been shifted all around and now you have to walk past a hoard of people blocking the front with their card collections. The shelves are looking more barren, product is just randomly all over the place now, nothing feels categorized. What happened to this place? The employees also don't really acknowledge anyone except a band of social misfits that seem to patronize the place. They seem to ignore the wealthier executive types (who have plenty of have money to spend) and cater to the customers who have to save up to buy a title. This isn't a case of belittling people of a different income bracket, but you'd think the store would be treating all customers somewhat the same if they're there to actually make money. The owner, a chubby old bald guy, is also just so off out and of place to a level where you just don't feel comfortable. Vegas needs a board game store in the south. A normal one. I'm happily spending my hard on money on Amazon at this point.
