For our cat, we get the wet food brand Weruna - and although I'm used to a very similar Fromm purchasing plan of the bigger cans (per store policy at a different store), Pet Mania unfortunately doesn't do that here. However, there's a very huge flavor selection of this brand (that comes in the small cans), so I'm pretty happy with having many choices. Finally, my cat also loves a stuffed animal brand called supercat (mainly the dinosaurs though), and this store carries this with a price pretty competitive to that of Amazon. Very well stocked for being a fairly small store, so I come here for most of my pets' needs. Fair warning that compared to other commercial stores, some may think this is pricey; however, the selections here tend to be the higher quality brands overall.

‍Reactive dog owner here!…read more I'd like to start off by saying I have never had a bad experience at any of the Unleashed locations! The staff at each store are absolutely phenomenal. I frequent this store for their dog bathing station. General Unleashed info: I always call ahead to reserve a spot for a bath- you must do this to ensure they have time for you. Baths are reserved for an hour. They usually fill up quickly for a weekend spot but I've never had any issues with same day reservations so long as you are flexible. I also really appreciate that the staff has always been super considerate and understanding when I specify that my dog is reactive to both other dogs and some people. I usually let them know while he looks super approachable because he's so fluffy and cute () he's kind of a butthead with strangers (). They always respond with kindness and politely give him plenty of space when we come in- and also let us know if there are other dogs in the store when we come in! I cannot tell you how much reassurance this gives us as owners to a reactive dog- we appreciate this courtesy so much! Protip: buy the frequent bather card! $60 for 4 baths and your 5th is free! They link this to your phone number so you don't have to worry about losing the card and it is good for use at any of their locations! Cary specific: The bathing area is in the back of the store where they stock bigger items. There is a baby gate and curtain you can use for some privacy but as my dog is reactive and as the location of the bath is open to the public I do wish there was a door just for peace of mind. We have had instances where other curious customers try to peek in the bathing area which has caused my pup to freak out a bit. The room is a little tight but you can make do with two adults plus your pup. I would say the bathing station is a good size for dogs up to the 60-ish lb range. 70 and up might be a tight squeeze. The always are stocked with plenty of soap/conditioner/ear cleaning/grooming tools! TL;DR $15 self bathing station, well worth the price for not having to clean up/well stocked bathing area and very accommodating staff.

The staff were great with my dog - and though the service is significantly overpriced, I feel they did a really good job. I did feel slightly concerned for the staff because they don't verify that dogs are vaxxed and they didn't cut her nails on a grooming table (which serves to protect the pet and staff). Knowing my dog is vaxxed and since there were no incidents with my pet (nor harm to staff), it left me feeling fairly ok and hopeful that any future visits would go ok too.

I ultimately was unable to get my dog into the group classes due to his reactive behavior and couldn't sign him up for personalized training due to the lack of 1on1 availability. Then the chick at the desk started catching attitude when I was questioning about my baby legs and the price. When I dropped him off I was told $232 but when I picked him up it was $250. He got home and peed for ever like he didn't go pee that day. I was told he eats 3x a day. I gave them 15 cans of dog food. Why I still had 7 cans left. That means you wasn't feed him 3x a day now I'm going to the Vet this morning to see what's wrong with his legs and what they did to my baby. I will be contacting corporate this is unacceptable. Don't use this place. I'm thinking they just left him in the crate the whole time on a cold floor. That's my opinion. I feel bad I left him with them.

The "Pet Sitter," (who was supposedly a licensed Veterinary Technician), who came to my house to take care of my 2 large dogs failed in numerous ways: --My dog's prescribed oral medication wasn't given, as evidenced by the full bottle that was there when I returned. --My dog didn't receive the sulphur baths that were prescribed for her skin condition, as evidenced by the foil seal that was still on the bottle when I returned. --The "Pet Sitter" lost my house key & contacted my Mother to borrow hers. Yet, when I got home, the door handle's keyhole had been jabbed through with some kind of tool--the keyhole was completed destroyed & I had to buy a new doorknob. --I arrived home at about 8pm & at 2am, the "Pet Sitter" & her boyfriend walked into my house DRUNK, to supposedly take care of my dogs! Her behavior was horribly unprofessional in every aspect! When I contacted the Owner of Ark Angel the next morning, she was unapologetic and made no attempt to smooth things over with me or compensate me for the broken doorknob. Additionally, she showed no concern that my dog's skin condition had worsened because of her Employee's s neglect! I was really shocked that the Owner of this pet sitting company didn't find her Employee's terrible behavior & neglect unacceptable! Walking into a Customer's house with her boyfriend, when they were obviously impaired & reeked of alcohol?!? Breaking a Customer's doorknob, despite having my Mother's copy of the key?!? Neglecting to give my dog her oral medication & prescribed baths?!? I paid a lot of money for them to "safely" care for my dogs so that I could have a worry-free vacation, but they failed us miserably!!

Some tanks definitely seem diseased and not cleared of deceased fish . I've seen fish act a bit erratic and ill. But their products have a wide variety and when the tanks seem okay, they have a really nice stock of fish and always seem to have what I need. Salt water tanks seem pretty great, plants have always been clean and safe of traveling snails. I still come here quite a lot. I enjoy it!
