We signed up for the second level training class and have had our first session. She keeps the classes for beginners small to minimize distraction. There were 2 pets in the beginner's class and a new student was added in this second level class. The thing that attracted us was the all positive training approach and its working perfectly on our dog.

If you don't feel like hauling a 25-pound bag of dog food, boom, there it is. However, a dasher once also messed up my order, which Dash refunded. Setting up an appointment via the website is iffy. Call them instead. They don't want you to do that, btw. Call them anyhow. Every person working was friendly and I like talking with them when I shop there. There's usually a treat ready for my pooch, too. The restrooms are always clean and available and, pro-tip here, it's a great place to stop if you're out cruising and just need to use a bathroom. I was turned away when my dog's rabies vaccination was expired. I drove from Fuquay Varina to Cary to have my dog vaccinated at a vet clinic that was opened on Sundays. When I returned to the PetSmart in Fuquay after having paid $140 for my dog's examination & vaccination, I was told that I would have to wait 24 hours before my dog could be groomed. This is unacceptable in that the policy printed on the door of the Grooming Salon ONLY requires that the pet have a current rabies shot - no mention of waiting period. I will not be going back to this PetSmart again because of poor communication and frustrating customer service. Please avoid the teenagers that work in this facility. They are rude and clearly incompetent. The management is FULLY responsible for the appropriate training of their staff. This staff person failed to provide complete information with her smarmy response and a failure to stipulate a waiting period. Even with documented vaccination, the refused to groom my pet under the pretense that it was "against the law & company policy for PetSmart to provide grooming services to my dog." I will not be purchasing ANY merchandise or seek services from the Fuquay-Varina store again. They do not deserve my patronage.

The employees are friendly and the website is easy to use. Sometimes I'll pull up the item on the website to see what the price is and if it is in stock to save time. They sell numerous items and many of them are available for delivery and/or pick-up. They even offer pet prescriptions. Overall, decent place for pet supplies, gardening/farm equipment, and holiday decorations.

She was sedated and shaved...but by the veterinarian. They mutilated her fur and skin. We let her hair grow out for a month and went to a different groomer who were appalled by the "haircut" she received. If the groomer recommends a shave at Vetco, I recommend going to an alternative groomer to get a second opinion and having it done. Have included pictures below of before and after. The fact they thought this was ok, and didn't even have one of the groomers clean it up is beyond me! When I reached out to corporate I was provided a generic/auto populated message.
