I asked him to finish checking me out and he said he couldn't that he was a cat trainer. I guess their employees do several jobs, instead of focusing on one which maybes them very distracted and unorganized.

For example, I was charged $120 for them to spend 15 minutes cleaning his bottom because it was matted. I recently took my rabbit there because I suspected a UTI. They did a urinalysis and said that he did not have a UTI and that more imaging was needed. I ended up taking him to All Creatures Vet Clinic, and the DVM there, pulled the urinalysis that Exotic Vet Care did and it showed it to me. Exotic Vet Care had not even shared the results with me. They simply said there was no bacterial infection. It turns out that he indeed has a really bad, hard to treat infection. I asked for at least a refund of my visit to All Creatures and they responded that the urinalysis report that they received showed no infection. I literally have a copy of it and it clearly does show an infection. The tests were overpriced and the diagnosis was not only wrong, but clearly seen on the report. Go elsewhere, you'll get better service, for less money.

I only discovered the injury after we got home. I understand that accidents can happen, but what I can't accept is the lack of communication and transparency. Over the next several days, Kahlo repeatedly shook her head because of the discomfort, causing the wound to reopen and bleed multiple times. I ultimately had to take her to the veterinarian, where she was diagnosed with acute moist dermatitis. This resulted in an unexpected vet bill that I was not in a position to afford. Had someone simply been honest about what happened and explained how to care for the injury, this experience would have been very different. Pet owners deserve clear communication when something goes wrong, and I hope PetSmart does a better job of being transparent in the future.

I also am always grateful for the help around the store I get when I'm looking for products that best fit my doggy so I've truly had nothing but great experiences here. She had not gotten a haircut in 4 months, so her fur was fairly matted (as doodles normally get) and we knew she would need a shave. Our dog left with cuts on ALL FOUR PAWS, both ears, the end of her tail was clipped and hasn't stopped bleeding for 4 days, her forehead was nicked AND her butt/vaginal area is EXTREMELY swollen and INFECTED. We have since spent $300 at the vet because of the infection and cuts on her body. When we took her to the vet, she said it was the worst grooming she had seen in her 20 year career and that the woman shouldn't be allowed to groom animals. When we told the vet that it was Bark and Meow who did this, she wasn't shocked and said this had happened before and that the woman was horrible to animals/had a bad reputation. We called the groomer to let her know of our dogs cuts/infections, and she didn't accept any blame for the injuries she caused- she continues to say that our dog was so matted she "had to do it". While yes, our dog was matted, THAT IS NO EXCUSE FOR INJURING AN ANIMAL. She is going to comment on this post trying to discredit what I'm saying. DO NOT LISTEN. I completely understand that she was matted and needed to be groomed, however this woman straight up injured our dog. Look at the photos attached for proof. ***UPDATE: The woman said that we signed a matting waiver WHICH WE NEVER DID. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG WITH THIS WOMAN.
