Lunch on a whim....was in the area, popped in. Spot is clean, service was decent, perhaps I'll try the boil next time. I ordered a poke bowl for the first time; classic, ingredients were definitely fresh, presentation on point, just isn't for me. Also tried a bubble tea for the first time, won't be doing that again. My daughter had the seafood boil and said it was great. Bae ordered fried shrimp, it wasn't fresh shrimp, appeared To be Pre frozen disappointing. 1/3 was happy with lunch! Place isn't cheap so i was bummed I didn't enjoy my food, you win some you lose some lol.

I wanted some seafood boil for my birthday and this place did not disappoint. You get a lot for your money, and the sauce was actually spicy! I just wish the add ons weren't so expensive. Other than that the crawfish, calamari, muscles, and shrimp were fresh much better than hook and reel. My husband had the seafood fried rice, it was delicious you can tell they made it with their sticky rice and it wasn't oily. I will be ordering from here again.

Picked up my first order today. I got a poke bowl salad with an added bubble tea. I love that they offer a $2 add on bubble tea if you order poke. They have ginger carrot dressing, spicy salmon and seasoned hard boiled egg as toppings for the poke bowl, which I haven't seen at other places. I enjoyed it. For the bubble tea I ordered the rose milk tea, which is what I normally order from other places if they have it. It was great and the boba was chewy and not hard. The lady who took my order was friendly too. Look forward to trying other boba flavors as well as the seafood boil! Btw their logo is hilarious. Love it.

This was my first time ordering here. My first time eating a poke bowl. We also ordered a seafood boil (snow crabs. Scallops and calamari in a garlic butter sauce). WOW! Everything was delicious. The crab meat was so full of flavor. I didnt get a picture of the seafood boil cause it smelled so good we went to town on it. My husband also enjoyed his poke bowl. Very pleased with our food. This is definitely our new favorite spot.

Unfortunately, the service we received from our server was the complete opposite, which made the experience extremely disappointing. From the start, our server seemed uninterested in serving our table and appeared bothered whenever we needed something. When our appetizers arrived, we weren't given share plates. When our entrees came out, she walked right past our table without checking on us. I understand servers can get busy, and she only had a couple of other tables at the time, but she never performed even a basic two-bite check-back. We repeatedly had to ask other servers and even kitchen staff for items we needed because our server simply could not be bothered. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, this stood out even more. Throughout the meal, she never asked if we'd like another round of drinks. Instead, she simply removed our cups without offering refills or additional beverages. The most frustrating part came when it was time to pay. We asked to split the bill, but she handed me the POS device with the full amount. When I politely pointed out that the bill had not been split correctly, she responded with an attitude and insisted it was right when it clearly wasn't. I had to ask her to redo it, and the interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational. I understand the restaurant closes at 10 PM, but we were seated around 8:30 PM, which should have been plenty of time to receive attentive service. It's unfortunate because our experience started on such a positive note thanks to the hostess staff. I expected that same level of hospitality throughout the evening, but instead left feeling disappointed and unwelcome.

Staff were beyond friendly. Cons -- THE FOOD!! We had pork belly and duck confit appetizer. Pork belly was drenched in sauce and overcooked. Duck dish was good but was a spread and served with such a small amount of bread. Main courses -- presentation was terrible -- i ordered NY Strip with french fries and veggies. Hubby ordered jambalaya -- both dishes were served luke warm and looked as though they had been sitting. French fries were all tiny pieces as if they were at the bottom of the fryer. The steak was a poor cut. The jambalaya lacked flavor. The protein on the dish was all overcooked. Dessert THE Elvis -- sounded sooo delicious but was basically a spoonful of peanut butter. Even the ice cream they served with it could not drown out the overpowering peanut butter flavor. I did enjoy the cappuccino. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and he didn't even eat his meal. It was that bad. Sadly, one and done for us. I know they changed their menu so perhaps this is not their best lineup but I cannot forgive the terrible presentation. The price point for what they are presenting its insane.

Amazing food, vibe and service!…read more Since I knew we would be in the city Sunday and would probably want to brunch before the concert that night, I looked up a bunch of places and this one kept catching my eye. We almost wouldn't have been able to go because I waited until that day to make reservations and it seemed like they were all booked up. But luckily, my boyfriend had a great idea to call to see if anything was available. Although I was only communicating with an automated system/ai rep, it was able to find reservations for 1:45. We took it and it was worth the wait! This is a very cute spot in Tribeca. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted, checked in for our reservation and seated immediately. Walking up, there is a little outdoor covered seating section that is set on the street next to the sidewalk. Inside, there was a jazz trio performing to the right when you first walk in. As we headed and got to our seats, we saw that behind the bar/counter seating they had the flattop cooking station so you could see the chefs preparing all the food; the bar was also in that area. We knew beforehand about the unlimited drinks option so we of course went with that - $36/person and had like 4 different brunch drink options you can rotate through over the 90 minutes. Our server came over pretty quickly to introduce herself and get our initial order. I was hoping to try out the Biscuits & Cajun Crab Gravy but they ran out of biscuits, so I ended up ordering the Chicken & Beignets instead. Boyfriend went with the Shrimp and Tasso Country Grits. Omg... Everything was delicious! Chicken had the perfect crisp and cook, beignets baked just right so they were soft and well complimented with the blueberry compote. And I had a bit of the grits - so creamy, perfect texture with a unique yet satisfying flavor with the sauce. Could kind of taste the coffee but also felt like there was something like a hint of curry or something in that red sauce - it was very good! Highly recommend checking this place out (make reservations for the weekend!). Because there are more things on this menu we would want to try, we said we have to try to come back very soon

Since…read moreI can't make a trip down there anytime soon, I searched for Louisiana-style gumbo in New York and came across this restaurant. After seeing the photos and reading the reviews, I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, I left highly disappointed. From the appetizers to the entrée to the dessert, nothing gave me that "wow" factor. Even the dining setup wasn't enjoyable--the tables were so close together that I could clearly hear conversations on both sides of me. It made it hard to even have a private conversation at my own table. I started with the charred oysters. They were just okay--nothing memorable. The smell wasn't very appealing, and the flavor didn't work for me either. Maybe there was too much Parmesan, but whatever it was, the flavors just didn't come together. Next were the fried green tomatoes with shrimp, and this dish really confused me. The shrimp had a sauce similar to what you'd find on Asian-style rock shrimp, but the shrimp were served cold. That combination just didn't make sense to my taste buds. I ordered two different gumbos to compare them. The crab gumbo was a complete miss for me--I absolutely did not enjoy the flavor. The "Gumbo All In" was better. It had some bold flavors, and while it wasn't amazing, it was definitely the one I preferred. The drinks were just okay. Nothing special. For dessert, I tried the Caramel Cornbread Cake and the beignets. I took the cake home and ate it the next day, so maybe that affected it, but I still didn't enjoy it. The beignets were even more disappointing because they weren't fully cooked in the center. I really wanted to like this place because I was craving authentic Louisiana flavors, but it just didn't deliver for me. Based on my experience, I don't see myself coming back.
