I wish I could leave a 0 star review. I have been coming here for years. Even before it was Francesco's. I have hosted birthdays, funerals, graduations, everything here. So imagine my surprise when I drove up Tuesday night for a 30th birthday celebration (WITH A 6:00 RESERVATION) to find that the restaurant was closed. No note on the door, no phone call giving us a heads up, a reason or even an excuse. Nothing. So now I'm sitting in their parking lot calling them. Nothing. So beyond unprofessional and disappointing. Don't even bother visiting or making a reservation because apparently they close whenever they want with zero regard for their guests. read more

The best calamari and the best muscles in red sauce the bread is excellent. The drinks are good. Everything on the menu was delicious. The only thing I don't recommend all the Baked clams the bartender always gives you a good poor on the drinks. read more

Let me start by saying if it wasn't for Rhett - the host, that accepted our reservation then we wouldn't even be chatting about this establishment. We called and got a reservation in ten minutes!! We were thrilled and had no idea there was live music and such a great vibe. Aldo was our waiter and he greeted us and explained the specials. My sister and I wanted to share so we ordered the linguine with white clam sauce and chicken Marsala. Aldo made sure that split the dishes for us beforehand. That alone was a game changer! We hate to make a mess and want to enjoy the evening. We totally did!!! We ordered the lava cake for dessert and totally on point! We loved this place so much and were so impressed with the friendly attentive staff and the delicious food!!! Thank you for making our Saturday night so memorable!!! read more

Came for dinner 2 weeks ago with some people from my club and we had such a good dinner we ended up coming back the following week again. Love the renovations to the dining room and the party. room being opened up. So happy they kept the bread basket with those great garlic sticks. Be careful not to eat too much and fill up. They have a great weeknight price fix menu and you wont leave hungry. I was a little sad to see the bar pies were replaced with fully pizza pies as those were great appetizers before, a full pie would be too much. I will be back. Only thing I will say is they need to keep better track to orders. Seems both weeks when they came out with dinner they were putting the wrong plates in front of the wrong person. I was in the area for work and being if Italian descent, I came across Francesco's. I had a most enjoyable meal and karaoke music that brought me back to my childhood. I had salmon oreganato which was cooked to perfection. The bread basket almost did me in. Mostly, the atmosphere and staff were all friendly and welcoming. I will be back and I suggest you come as well, especially on a Monday night. read more

I was at Francisco's supper club recently on a Saturday night and ordered the pasta Bolognese over fettuccine, it was delicious all ingredients were fresh. Highly recommend this dish with your choice of pasta! The service and ambience was also good. There was also live entertainment, a singer who sang a bunch of songs, good music from back in the day. The performance was entertaining and enjoyable while dining. again sometime soon and recommend this place. read more

Delicious Food! Fast Service! Nice decor with beautiful ceiling. Our server Norbert was pleasant and professional, suggesting the best of what the restaurant offers (which is everything including the bread basket and condiments.) Everything we ordered was amazing: the fried calamari morsels were fresh and tender in a delicious, light batter. Clams on the half shell were so fresh and succulent! The meatballs, eggplant parm, chicken parm and chicken francese were entrees that were big on both taste and portion size. The singer on a Saturday night is awesome!!!! She needs to be performing on Broadway and beyond. Songs were classics and modern. Every song sang to perfection. I will definitely return to Francesco's just to listen to her. About the food: Horrible! Salad was old, doused in oil and too much balsamic. Entree was not as described on menu, loaded with salt, very disappointing and sad. Vegetables were uncooked and full of branches that need to be removed before cooking and serving. Very disappointing. Service: Service was very good. Wait staff attentive. With so much competition on Staten Island for Italian food, I don't understand how this owner thinks it's ok to serve people food of poor quality. Maybe he/she needs to take more time to train his chef's properly. I don't know. If I go back, I'll try the pizzas and listen to the great singer. read more

I came in and everyone looked at me in disgust like i didn't belong there at all. was waiting 10 minutes and the workers were just cracking jokes with each other KNOWING i was there waiting and standing looking like a idiot. read more

We recently celebrated my mother's birthday at Francesco's. We were a very large group. They accommodated us with every request. Norbert and the staff were excellent. We loved the food here. The staff was great. They give an amazing bread bowl with breadsticks, focaccia, toasted bread and the eggplant dip. So yummy. They also serve a salad course before your meal which we weren't expecting. You don't find that at many restaurants these days. The food did take a while to come out and the restaurant wasn't that busy, but it was worth the wait. So delicious. Would definitely come back. read more

I had my sisters birthday party there a couple of weeks ago. I must say the service was amazing. The food was so ample it was so much food it was clean the waiters, and waitress were very attentive and Dominick that help me plan the party and the new owner Angelo just amazing. again, the food was so amazing. It was plated it so beautifully. The service was amazing everyone there was very pleasant. I recommend this place to everyone on this island. You better get there and have dinner because the food there is amazing and I am a pain in the ass lol. And book a party, that you will not be disappointed. read more
