I must of missed out on this place so much whenever I wanted a seafood boil! Ordered a pick up…read moreonline. Super easy. Prices are affordable. Food was ready when I came by. I ordered the Seafood boil (Wild Crab Sauce-medium spicy--head on shrimp, mussels, crawfish, snow crab legs, corn & eggs) however when I opened the bag--they gave me potatoes as well which was nice of them to add. The smell was sooo good! The sauce was amazing. Next time I'll order it a little bit more spicier. Only thing is the crawfish were super small--could be cause wasn't in season, but I'll be back to try more of the menu. If you want seafood, come here! Definitely worth a try.

Anyway the service was great we sat down and the menu has plenty of options. I have been craving wings, so wings I had (the garlic flavor) super crispy and flavorful. Then I tried the seafood ramen with chicken broth, It could've used a little more flavor but I added some eel sauce and it hit the spot. Finished with the small seafood broil (definitely shareable ) with shrimp mussels Dungeness crab noodles broccoli and an egg in the wild crab sauce--- didn't disappoint. We also tried the teas which they'll make to your sweetness preference. Psssst.... Super affordable as well. I'll see you there.

We ordered fried calamari…read more(decent) mozzarella sticks (decent), flank steak served with fried onion and served with mash potatoes (very good) chicken Gabriella served with rigatoni and hunks of mozzarella with vodka sauce (very good), onion soup and a delicious spinach salad. All ingredients tasted fresh and delicious. Our server was young and a little nervous but did a very nice job keeping our table happy. The price was very reasonable and the amount of food was unbelievable. 4 adults, 2 kids ate and drank (couple of beers and a wine) and left full and with half the food doggy bagged! A very nice experience!

Pub is very old, but this latest iteration / owner has been since the early 2000s. Looks like an Irish pub, but the menu / kitchen is family-style Italian restaurant. Portions are BIG. Prices are FAIR! This place ROCKS! I had the Caesar salad, stuffed mushrooms, & 1/2 order of chicken parm. All of it was awesome. Thur's are also Lobster Thur's, & they have like 15+ lobster preparations to choose from. I wish I lived upstairs - I would come here every day. They also have a lotto machine, so you can get a scratch off with dessert. Note: they are next to a school, & parking is hard to come by on weekdays until 4pm, but not impossible. Most of my adventures are weekday late mornings & lunch tho, & the staff helped me find street parking (!). Best of NYC !!!!

Solo Brunch Experience: Clean Atmosphere, Mixed Flavors…read more I visited Sakura for brunch recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the restaurant was exceptionally clean and spacious with plenty of seating. Since I visited during brunch, it was quite empty, which made for a quiet meal, though it did feel a bit pricey for a solo diner. The Food: Chicken Winng-ers! The were the winners, here. Chicken wings: were easily the highlight of the meal. They arrived crispy and super hot, as if they had just come straight from the kitchen. Sushi: The sushi was okay--decent enough, but not particularly memorable. Disappointments: Unfortunately, several other dishes didn't quite hit the mark. The lobster was far too salty to eat, the ribs were dry and lacked flavor, and the fried scallops were very greasy. Service: I found the staff to be not the friendliest during my visit, which added to the overall "blah" feeling of the food. While this specific meal wasn't for me given the price point (around $28.99 for the buffet), I appreciated the cleanliness of the space. I'm always happy to support local spots, but for the price, I was hoping for a bit more consistency in the food quality. Lobster & Ribs: "I struggled with the ribs being dry and the lobster being too salty to eat. For those who visit often, is this a common issue, or did I just catch them on an off day?"

Surprisingly the sushi was very limited as well with a lot of rice. Their sashimi was not fresh so I would opt out of it. Cold appetizers were not bad and I was surprised they didn't have a regular salad bar like most buffet would. This one also does not have a hibachi station compared to its competitors on the island. Parking is challenging but they do offer 2 hours free parking at the lot if you have 4 or more people and only during dinner time. The lobster was not fresh and the meat was mushy. Snow crab legs were good. Overall, I think they have to work through their selections and frequency on refilling their food as there is a few options on the island with an abundance of options.
